  1. I'm just replying to see if I can post anymore. My account has been acting hinky and a moderator has had a target on my back for some time now.
  2. Except the part where the NFC Rams won the Superbowl. Except the part where the NFC Rams won the Superbowl. Except the part where the NFC Rams won the Superbowl. Except the part where the NFC Rams won the Superbowl.
  3. No. You are not being paranoid. If you're being paranoid, I'm right up there with you. The stadium deal is fait accompli. Yet the negative news coverage continues to roll in. I'm beginning to feel some people are still trying to scuttle the project.
  4. OK. Very cool. ONLY.. if that's an NFL dimensioned infield. If they build Highmark 2 with a soccer dimensioned infield, count me out.
  5. That walk on the quarter-mile was absolute brutality in the winter. I understand that's it's now mostly shielded by buildings.
  6. Ah.. but you contradict yourself. You want a retractable roof stadium downtown with a convention center, by far the most expensive proposition possible, easily double the cost---yet you complain about the cost of PSLs.
  7. You are correct. My original source was wrong.
  8. It means 550mil from the Pegula's...keeping in mind the 200mil from the NFL is only a loan from the NFL to the Pegula's, which they must pay back.
  9. He looks pretty good for 71. Let's hope he beats the average American lifespan of 79 years.
  10. There is an anecdote from the early days of Tom Brady... He used to take off and scramble quite a bit. Belichick told him to the effect of "if you want to last in this league, you have to stop doing that" ..and like that, Tom Brady stopped scrambling. Now here he is today playing at 44 years old.
  11. oh yeah... that same formula will work in WNY... NOT. Corporate boxes are slim pickings, M&T Bank can only take you so far. PSLs will go over like a fart in church.
  12. Pegs would be renters from the county. Which surprises me.. how many renters do you know pay for the house the landlord is building? It's nonsensical.
  13. You sign a contract for millions of dollars, I don't weep for you if you are cut.
  14. Sarcasm is a delicate art. Without a Drought needs to work on his art form.
  15. So excessively negative.. You're exaggerating the RB situation, wrong on Diggs, wrong on McD.. and the dome is just a stupid viewpoint. You're so angry.. during the off season, do you need a Xanax?
  16. I want you to be so right. May the draft Gods guide Beane, it's that crucial.
  17. I could make a Hat, a Broach, a Pterodactyl.
  18. Yeah. But our secondary is officially 2nd rate. Process that.
  19. Stefon is 28 years old. Let's see if he puts up elite numbers this year. If so, award him an elite contract.
  20. Was it Overdorf or Littman the problem?
  21. Whew... for those "pay the man his money" types on here. Thank God they don't run the Bills. 1) it's physically impossible to pay him what he's looking for, salary cap wise. I know many of you believe in salary caps sleight of hand. But it's just not enough in this situation. 2) even if you go nuclear and could squeeze him in under the cap, you would be gutting the money left for the rest of the team. As Jerry Jones said recently: great teams, even just good teams, lose great players to lower performing teams, it's how the NFL system is designed. Just ask Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes.. who lost their elite WR. I expect the same to happen to Josh Allen. I watched the great 1990s Bills fall apart under the salary cap. The losses of Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith stung. But they were inevitable. Some pain is coming up here as well. EDIT: Read the Cowboys built for 2021 situation https://sports.yahoo.com/whats-next-for-the-dallas-cowboys-and-jerry-jones-a-painful-talent-drain-224708265.html. Similarly, the Bills are built for 2022. 2023 gonna suck.
