This is silly talk. We are all shocked by MNF. We all need healing. A major step in healing is moving forward. Move forward, play the game this Sunday. Don't get stuck in the Kübler-Ross stage of depression.

You have my condolences on putting your dog down. I did the same December 27th as soon as I shoveled out. I'm still doubt my decisions My other remaining dog is still depressed. I like Damar for a name.

Daniel Jones receives standing ovation from Giants fans

I expect them to draft a WR1 for Fields to hit. -
I will give you that one. Though, the Raiders beating the Chiefs seems highly unlikely. That game will surely be my Saturday night activity.

I don't foresee any scenario where the Bills will rest starters.

Leslie Frazier expected to be "in the mix" for Broncos HC job
boater replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, age matters. I say this as an unsuccessful 60 y/o job seeker. -
Buffalo sets new All-Time seasonal snowfall record thru December!

The rest of the winter will be mild. Google "Positive Affirmations" -
James Cook -- 5.8 ypc(!) and his longest is only 33 yards.
boater replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
There was some talking head who went over the top when Cook was drafted by Buffalo. He predicted big things. He was very enthusiastic. He got me charged up. Anyone remember who that was? -
Allen. Allen is more likable than Burrow. Burrow comes across as a rich fraternity boy. He would be a member of Omega Theta Pi in Animal House "Thank you sir may I have another"

Bills/Bengals has the gravity of a playoff game. ESPN/ABC must be salivating over the ratings they will experience.

Is the QB position a roadblock to expansion?
boater replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with OP... there aren't enough quality QBs to feed expansion. The college system just doesn't fill the demand. It barely does so with 32 teams. If the NFL throws caution to the wind and expands anyways, it will become a stratified league where you have about 5 elite, 10 serviceable, and the rest suck QBs. Not good for entertainment. I think a similar situation exists with OL. -
LOL to some of the comments in this thread. It boils down to two options: -- have the team stranded together in a cozy Chicago hotel -- or, have the team stranded in Cheektowaga snow drifts on Cayuga Road. I know which I would choose. ** Cleveland, Niagara Falls, and Rochester are not options due to road blockages

12/24/22 Week 16 Christmas Eve GAMEDAY Bills @ Bears Pregame Thread
boater replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope WIVB removes the closings chyron for the game. It's obscuring the bottom of the screen. -
When the Bills beat KC earlier this season there were pictures of Mahomes sobbing. That's because he has never played a playoff game on the road, and he realizes the gravity of doing so. If number one seed, the road to the Super Bowl goes through Orchard Park. Heck, no matter who plays, the AFCCG is the real Super Bowl. It could be in Buffalo.

Snowballs - fair game if aimed at Dolphins bench?
boater replied to Clark Rotary's topic in The Stadium Wall
Snowball throwers were a classless act. They embarrassed Buffalo on national TV. -
Uh.. isn't McDermott the nexus of clock management, not Dorsey. Didn't the Bills hire a "Clock Management" Assistant Coach? I don't get the venom pointed at Dorsey for clock management.

...and who here said Beane's draft picks were busts? C'mon, out yourself's.

McDermott treats injuries very conservatively. I'm glad we have McDermott. Options: 1. Witnessed this afternoon.. We could have Robert Saleh. He returned an injured Mike White to the game. Mike White was so badly injured he left the stadium after the game in an ambulance. 2. We could have Michael McDaniel. He threw a concussed Tua Tagovailoa back into the game. I'm glad we have McDermott. I'm sure the players are glad as well.
