I'm one of those 'RB is not in football ops people' (he may be a situational advisor to TP.. but that isn't allot of quan). Since the Bills org. structure clearly has RB acting as an non-football Executive (President), I'd say the onus is on the RB conspiracists to prove (instead of rant) RB has his hand in football ops.

OP's intent is right. But agree with others who say current rules nullify the turnover--and that this call was blown by the officials. This is the worst year of officiating in my memory, dating back to the 1980s. How can officiating be fixed?

I like that contract idea. Though, I'd make the decision date the end of Jan for obvious reasons. They could put in automatic pay adjustments like: finishing worse than 10-6, same pay next year finishing better than 10-6, you get 3% raise each playoff win in a season, you get 3% bonus (and a first round bye = win)

DC Tom is fairly close in his scoffing here. But there are Federal Agencies that sustain their operations mostly on user fees....that's not exactly profits, but it is sustainment off cash flow. If I remember correctly, The Patent Office and the FDA are examples of agencies that run largely off user fees. I remember this because when I lived in DC, those employees worked through the government shutdown, because they ran off user fees. But as DC T is probably thinking, the vast majority of Federal operations are financed by congress, using make-believe money and funds fleeced from our pocket books.

Don't forget Russ Brandon, the board says he's been in football ops as if it were a game of Stratego. ...and Joe F calls out Donnie Henderson. That keg cost us the playoffs.

Yep. Thank you for saying about the Bills ownership situation. 3 or 4 teams are trying to relocate to LA, and TP is keeping the Bills in town, because TP is a passionate homer. We missed the playoffs, that sucks, but there are other fan bases worried about losing their team. Also.. imagine being a Cleve fan and tolerating the non-stop coaching carousel to the bottom of the toilet. Part of me think Cleveland's moves are to tank--not for a draft pick, but for a low roster cost, because they'll make money off the TV contract, even if they are 0-16. The owner is a hard core "businessman" after all.

Interesting. Two thoughts come to mind... 1. the stack of road games is an opportunity for the Bills to actually get good at them, because they'll be second nature 2. so many road games in one chunk.. must mean the Bills have a large chunk of home games
