WGR Hosts Scared Of On-Air Confrontation
boater replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WGR went downhill after Stan Roberts left. -
I do believe you are correct, bad reading on my part. Forgive me. I've been on a bender, the first round was just to much to take.
-
Fan forums are predictable, maybe especially TSW. No matter who was chosen, and/or what was given up Thursday night -- people are gonna B word. BTW: McBeane cares. assertions otherwise are silly trolling.
-
Explain why we should trust McBeane on offense?
boater replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"Yeah baby, you're not looking for trust. You're looking for faith." That's what Al Davis told me, then he passed the dutchie on the right hand side. -
Bills' 2018 Regular Season Schedule
boater replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
3 of the last 4, at home. That's unusual. Usually the home games are stacked up during good weather. Home in the snow should be a competitive edge. -
I guess I'll have to upgrade my phone. Good bye Jitterbug flip phone.

In the winter. With snow. Snow game in Lambeau, doesn't get much more 'NFL classic' than that.

Bills Annual Pre-Draft Presser. Live now!
boater replied to BrotherChazz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills will only consider medical reasons as something diagnosed by the team Doctor, not Richie's personal Doctor. Richie's twitter, and lack of official Bills response, implies Richie is acting on freelance medical opinion, that is of no official concern to the Bills. Lolz. Next we'll hear Richie is on Brady's TB12. -

Bad professor. Changing the original assignment after it was assigned. -
The Top 5 Most Polarizing Figures in Buffalo Bills History
boater replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You picked 4 that I would have (I don't remember allot of polarization over Smerlas) Haughty Jim Kelly spurned the cold weather city of Buffalo for the Houston gamblers. Luckily for all of us, he developed into the great he is today. Ralph was cheap. At some point he reached an epiphany and realized he couldn't run the club like a Triple-A team that he initially thought he had. Cookie, well is Cookie. I think Marshawn Lynch and Cookie are related. -
For all who want to trade up so bad
boater replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with OP's concept. The Jet's imbalanced their roster investment to fill one position. Converse approach: I think the Bills can get a serviceable future QB at pick 12, and fill the rest of their skilled roster needs with remaining draft picks. Also, next year the Bills are out of contractual hell with regard to the salary cap. That will bring in 2019 free agents. It's a good time to be a Bills fan. -
Rex Ryan expects the Bills to make huge offer for #2.
boater replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's all in the W-L columns. I'd tolerate a Rex blowhard who wins. If you're a losing blowhard, you're sleeping with the fishes. That's pretty much how it ended up. It's not complicated. -
NEW ENGLAND- Tom Brady BUFFALO - AJ McCarron MIAMI- Ryan Tannehill NY JETS - -Josh Rosen I think McCarron is going to be a pleasant surprise. he was suppressed in the depth chart by a very good Dalton being virtually ignored ignored in free agency upset him; he has something to prove even though he hasn't been the starter often; he's been immersed in the NFL for years I like what I hear of his college years (there's an excellent tbd post on this, I couldn't find it) he's working hard already to beat whatever rookie may be drafted

Any of these flights, including Arizona may have been other Pegula business, ie: energy, country music, hockey etc.

Midget with an attitude, Mayfield, drops in draft status and is picked up by the Bills at #12.
-
Just for kicks, ranked by discussion intensity on The Stadium Wall. Searched on last name only, post created in the last month. The search function is not for analytics, so YMMV. Josh Rosen 3189 posts Lamar Jackson 2405 Josh Allen 2369 Baker Mayfield 2284 Sam Darnold 1897 Mason Rudolph 1133 I'm surprised Darnold's post count is so low.

I trust The Process. You should, too.
boater replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shove off Star Boy. The process can't account for other teams recklessly mortgaging their future for this years high pick. -
Interesting. She looks like she has another 20 years left in her. Maybe the Saints are OK. Kim Pegula looks like she has another 40 or 50 in her.. good news for the Bills.

Gayle may be legally planted to become owner. BUT.. does Gayle have the ability to pay the estate tax? Estate taxes is why Ralph Wilson's daughter didn't get the Bills. It's also why the Cooke family had to sell the Redskins to Daniel Snyder. I think the Saints will be up for sale. Sadly. But people want to tax the rich, and this is a result.

Here is what is going to happen in the draft
boater replied to maryland-bills-fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Jet QB room is veteran heavy, with both Bridgewater and McCown on fresh new big contracts --- this indicates the Jets may be taking the slower route to rebuilding their QB position. I could see them drafting a project type QB to sit on the bench for a few years.
