  1. Ralph's money would be better invested in either the offensive or defensive line. As far as Milloy, I always liked him as a player but he can't stay with anyone in coverage anymore. Time to go...
  2. If we can't sign someone better than Shaud Williams... that would be pretty sad.
  3. I remember all that and more. He used to leave the bars with a minimum of one hot babe each night he was out there. One night (this according to my neighbor, who was a bartender) he actually got punched out due to trying to pick up the wrong guys wife. OJ was a pretty big guy, but I guess he encountered a rather tough individual and had a humiliating experience. If I remember right, very few of his escspades were publicized, he basically owned the city and had very positive PR, for the most part. His buddy, Reggie McKenzie was another hard partier, but I heard very few negative stories about him.
  4. Sing the anthem the way it is meant to be. The best renditions are when they sing it correctly. One of the best was Whitney Houston. As screwed up as she is, she did an outstanding job the year she sang it.
  5. Great recall... I remember the interception and that it was preseason, but did not remember the opponenet. When he got hit... you just knew his career was done... what a shame.
  6. I saw the short article on the Stadium Wall about Robert James. The Bills have a great history of outstanding cornerbacks but none compare to James. I still remember his career ending knee injury. For those old enough to remember him, I'm sure you agree... a true "shut down corner".
  7. and I know he imploded at what time, but what about Jim Mora Sr? He was a strong coach that was very good at organization and building teams. Bring on the senior citizen comments...
  8. Jeff Fischer... even if it costs us a draft pick,,,
  9. I couldn't agree more. He has shown to be a totally classless jerk through prior statements he has made. I am also convinced he is the "inside source" feeding Mularky's thoughts to Mort. I have lost all respect for Mort. He is showing extreme bias.
  10. I respect Parker's opinion. He is one smart and perceptive individual.
  11. Good note, but I am confident the firing of TD made sense.
  12. I am surprised Mort is not reporting that no assistants will sign on due to our firing the best GM in the history of Pro football
  13. Think about it... MM is TD's buddy. He is probably still communicating with him. They are both probably speaking poorly about the Bills. TD calls his ballwasher... Mort. Mort biasedly reports the news including the comment... "Nothing the Bills have done the past week makes much sense". I am very disappointed in Mort and his clandestine partner...TD.
  14. Far from a great football mind, but I say defense. Our line was unable to stop the run thus allowing opposing offenses to control the ball, the clock and the game. An offensive line, with play calling devised around their strengths (whatever it may be) is easier to fix than a porous defensive line. This being said, that is very difficult and intriguing question you propose.
  15. Only heard a part of it, but I think little Mike was just ripping the decision... mainly jumping on the age issue. I was on the phone so I missed most of it.
  16. If I remember right, he made all defensive lineman have a wrestling match with him and at least "held his own".
  17. I thought he was great, too... he was entertaining. I loved the fact that all defensive lineman had to wrestle him, all the sideline antics and his enthusiasm. He certainly brought enthusiasm but I doubt any of us know what type of teacher (sorry to use the Greggo term) or coach he was. I would guess that firing a coach as popular as Tim was means he was weak in other areas.
  18. No comments, little Mike seemed excited leading up to the question, but that is just my perception. Polian did mention that he was friends with Levy but went on to praise him, mentioned how excited people in the Bill's organization seemed to be over the choice and what a great, great choice he was. He mentioned that TD was also a friend and said the firing was the nature of the business, but in no way defended TD.
  19. I am not a MM fan but none of us know the real stories regarding Sam Adams and Eric Moulds. Let's just say that Sam was not giving 100% and needed his butt kicked a little... wouldn't you as a head coach bench him if nothing else worked? How about Eric... regardless why it happened, if he told off a coach and refused to play (if true), wouldn't you suspend him? Losman/Holcomb... who was actually making the decisions? Losing control of the team? I don't know, but until we know the full stories (probably never), how can we judge him regarding this issue? Now his play calling is another issue...
  20. Was just on Mike and Mike and could not be any more complimentary about the appointment of Marv Levy. Bill is a straight shooter and it was great to hear.
  21. Maybe she'll qualify to be a cheerleader next year when they restrict their ages to 80 and above...
  22. I wasn't aware of "health problems". What's the scoop?
  23. Ralph was so emphatic about "more time here" that I have to believe this was quite an issue.
  24. I love how Ralph answered that question. He doesn't fire assistants, the head coach does. I believe Ralph's strategy is to tell the head coach to fire an assistant and if the order is not carried out, Ralph just fires the head coach.
