I think Brennans has some tasty wings...

Is he huge as in just massive or does he look like he is in shape?

Most underrated receivers of all time
Toledo Bill replied to Tcali's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's funny... a lot of people will immediately think of Chandler, but any Bill's fan that had the pleasure to watch him play will tell you just how special of a player he was (at the same time calling him underrated). -
I am a BUFFALO Bills fan, have been for well over 40 years and will cease to root for them if they move. Ralph Wison may belong in the Hall of Fame for his AFL efforts but I consider him a poor owner considering his "devotion" to winning.

Bills let rookie wear #12 in rookie camp. WTF?
Toledo Bill replied to TheKickIsGood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The best QB we have ever had in Buffalo. However... he should have LED them out of the pre Super Bowl parties earlier in the mornings. -
Wow... 25 years. Let's see. you started being a "fan" around 1983 or 1984. Do you even know who Hank Bullough, Kay Stevenson and Harvey Johnson are? Your becoming a "fan" was just a couple years before respectability started and shortly thereafter led to the Super Bowl years. Try being a fan from the beginning of the franchise. Wow... 25 years; that gives you the right to call out any fan that dares criticize this organization? Try sitting through the really rough years at the Rockpile. I have always been and will always be a BUFFALO Bills fan but reserve everyone's right to express there displeasure with this disfunctional organization. I am not a fan of the overrated Ralph Wilson but will never waver in my support of the city of Buffalo, the Buffalo Bills or the right to enjoy spirited discussions with either negative or positive fans. If the fans of the Buffalo Bills irritate you, why don't you find another team?

Rumor: Cushing and Matthews test positive for steroids?

I don't know about wanting him in a Bill's uniform... many years ago I thought pre-draft Tony Mandarich would look good in Buffalo Blue... -
Your favorite Bills player of all time and why...

And an outrageous downfield blocker. He was a master of a perfectly timed "layout" block that would clear the way for long runs. My vote would be for him or Robert James, one of the best cornerbacks in the history of the NFL... the first lockdown corner. -
It seems that trading Parrish is a popular idea right now. What I am anxious to see is with TO and Evans at the wide outs and Reed in the slot, if we bring in Parrish as a 4th reciever, the matchups would be very favorable to us. He is so effective in the open field, I think TO's signing will lead to Parrish having a great year.

Thanks... a one year contract makes all the sense in the world for this guy.
-
Does a one year NFL contract allow the team to make the player either a restricted or unrestricted player the following year?
-
Thanks... I haven't had much time to keep up. I just check this site and Fox Sports when I have time. I had not seen anything on Fox.... probably just missed it.
-
I had not seen that. Got it!
-
Thanks... I must be overestimating his value. I only heard of Seattle talking to him.
-
Has there been any reports of him signing with Seattle or anyone else? In certain ways, this guy reminds me of Andre Reed. He would be a great weapon along side Evans. I am surprised we haven't brought him in for a visit (not really).

Proof again that we are dealing with marketers and business people (poor ones) instead of football people... -
TMQ: London Fletcher unwanted player of the year
Toledo Bill replied to dietlbomb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Regarding the "staying in the lineup on passing downs", he should have come out on passing downs. I agree with the accolades he gets for leadership and tackling, but he was consistently picked on and beat in pass coverage (at least during his tenure here). -
That Hit On McGahee Was SICK.....

Nantz even gushed about the singing of the National Anthem. Why can't they pick singers that will just sing it the way it was intended? There are certainly worse announcers than Nantz but I get a little tired of him. -
I understand what you are saying but Kosar sure helped lay the groundwork. Belichick got zero support and a bunch of headaches from Kosar. Maybe he was fired by the BALTIMORE RAVENS but the die was cast in Cleveland.

The press AND Kosar ran him out of town.

Age and Outlook on the Bills
Toledo Bill replied to The Avenger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
52 years old and a life-long Bill's fan. I moved out of the Buffalo area in 1979 but my family has had season tickets since the 60's. I attend games when possible and never miss a game on Direct TV. I will always be a Buffalo sports fan and regardless what happens I start each year with renewed hope. I have NEVER been a Ralph Wilson fan and feel the Super Bowl years were a case of all the stars being aligned. He has always been a cheap owner that hires cheap coaches. Two Harvey Johnson regimes, Hank Bullough, Kay Stevenson, etc. Ralph Wison for the Hall of Fame... what a joke! I think you have proposed an interesting question to the group, I have figured the older fans would always be loyal and although frustrated, have become somewhat hardened to mediocracy. Buffalo fans are a hardy group yet I understand some fans getting frustrated and "cutting ties" with the team. I just can't do that; I love the city of Buffalo and will always support their sports teams. An interesting point... during the Super Bowl years I would expect we picked up a decent percentage of our fan base. Just my two cents, but I would imagine that is the group that is more often than not willing to "cut bait". I am not saying one group of fans is better or more loyal than any other... just my best guess. -
Actually... this is the Ralph Wison that always existed. The Super Bowl years were an exception. Through the prior three decades to the 90's we saw the same Ralph Wison we have seen the past 10 years or so.
