  1. Great point... I think the fan base would like it, also.
  2. Could not agree more. Steady players that continue to improve, make contributions and lead through efforts, not big mouths!
  3. Robert James... one of the best cornerbacks in the history of the game.
  4. Quality LEADER that has earned respect... pay attention Donte. George should team with Byrd for the next few years as an excellent safety combo.
  5. For years the NFL has had 2 Saturday games the last 2 weeks of the season. Does anyone know how or why that changed? I don't know if it has anything to do with the NFL network or not. I know there was a Friday night game last week. I used to love seeing 4 games on those two weekends. For all I know it changed a couple of years ago and I just noticed due to a busier personal schedule. Just curious...
  6. London Fletcher was (and still might be) a great middle linebacker against the run. My complaint against him (and I doubt it has changed) was that during his Bills tenure he was terrible in pass coverage. There were dozens of times he was always behind the pass recipient when a key third down was completed. I felt that our opponents game planned to pick on him when they needed key pass completions. Perhaps he has improved in Washington but I have not watched the Redskins this year and cannot state a fair opinion. Based on what I saw when he was in Buffalo, I could never consider him a pro bowler but he was an active, hustling run stopper.
  7. I really enjoy watching this football player. He is a great all around player that combines wonderful skills with natural abilities and outrageous desire. Can you imagine what he would do with a top team with competent coaching? It is hard to find positives with the Bills but I appreciate his talents and the efforts of such hard workers as McGee, Williams, etc. I am not stating anything that is a surprise to Bills fans and has probably been mentioned before, but I feel better commenting about this classy football player.
  8. I have always been impressed with Wilson's play. I have also been impressed with Byrd's hustle and hitting (the interceptions help). Yep, when we play a quality quarterback they may be greatly exposed... I hope not. As a casual fan I am impressed with both Byrd and Wilson and not impressed with Whitner. Your point is well taken.
  9. Byrd and Wilson. I even prefer Scott to Whitner. At this point Byrd is a no brainer. Wilson is a great competitor that plays well and fires up the troops. Let's forget Whitners draft position and I think he should be on the bench.
  10. His new nickname should just be "starting safety", along with Byrd.
  11. I think he got charged but it was Maybin that committed it.
  12. If you want an enforcer type... that would be Scott. I don't understand the couple of negarive comments about Wilson, I think he has played well and is one of the teams leaders.
  13. Wilson and Byrd are a great looking team!
  14. Byrd and Wilson should remain at the safety positions. I like Scott, also. Whitner can cheer from the bench.
  15. Thanks for your comments and I will call it a day. As I just mentioned in an earlier comment to another poster... it is just a situation that I find offensive. I would be wise just to live with it and not read more into it than is meant. Thanks.
  16. Sorry to offend you... I try to stay away from arguments on this board; it was just a comment that hit close to my heart. I will have no further comment on this matter.
  17. I appreciate your attempt at humor and I am far from a fan of the Kennedy's. As far as your not being PC; what a lame comment from an obviously intelligent individual. I have volunteered to help with disabled and mentally challenged kids and can only hope you sit back and think about these types of comments. I hope you never have a family situation involving kids like this. The challenges they face deserve better than someone who thinks it is funny to not be "PC". I used to think these types of comments were funny until I got involved trying to help these poor kids and their families. I know that my comments are non-football related but what you have written is just wrong... PC or no PC.
  18. We could do without the retarded and Special Olympics comments...
  19. It was on an interception return. Even watching from the stands it was a grotesque looking injury. You immediately knew it was bad. What a shame, hand down, best cornerback in Bill's history.
  20. The Clarence JV coach would be a much better choice...
  21. It's good to see that the Klarence education paid off. I am awaiting the original poster to agree with all of your comments.
  22. Whitner and McKelvin can learn a lot from a classy, quiet, lead by example individual.
  23. I certainly hope he is better in pass coverage than Fletcher...
  24. Both he and Leodis could take some "class" lessons from McGee.
