This POS is all about the owners and could care less about the players or fans.

All our injuries are bad but I see our defense getting shredded against the run going forward. DaQuan was such a force and his play really helped out Oliver. Phillips seems to do nothing but try to fire up the crowd, Settle never makes plays and no idea what’s going on with Poona Ford. Of course the Milano injury is huge but so is Jones injury.

Isn’t this his contract year?

Some things are acceptable in a loss. What’s not acceptable: Being totally unprepared for the Jags going for the two point conversion. The team not being ready to play. The regression of the running game. Lack of focus and discipline (penalties). I think all of these things (and more) were attitude and planning issues which go back to coaching.

The defensive line rotation has been part of our defense for years. When Von comes back it will make our strong defensive end play even stronger. Jones and Oliver have been playing lights out in the middle. I am not looking for a negative here but I don’t seem to notice Settle or Phillips making any significant contributions when they are in there. I wonder if anyone has been focusing on their play and might have any input on this. We can’t expect everyone to be a star but the difference seems to stand out.

Don’t forget extending Daquan Jones. Oliver gets most of the attention in the middle but Jones continues to tie up double teams and is a difference maker.

He plays like a coward.

They are very impressive in the run game.

He just tried a Qb Sneak against Dallas and it was laughable. Even the announcers commented that he just fell down instead of trying to push forward. Hope he didn’t cry.

And I noticed Espenesa was out for a while

Great to hear Romo give DaQuan Jones some well deserved recognition.

At least 2 of his 4 incompletions were well thrown.

I understand the concept of alternating lineman but Settle and Phillips just aren’t Oliver and Jones.

Allen, after his elbow injury got one tenth of the excuses Burrow is getting.

The announcers can praise Stanford all they want… he looks off tonight.

Oliver is getting a lot of accolades, our linebackers and ends get some well deserved praise but it seems Jones goes a little under the radar. He makes constant penetration and occupies a lot of double teams. Focus on his play and he seems to be a real force. it seems when he is out we are much more vulnerable to the run. I respect his efforts.
