In his defense they were stopping every car on that sidewalk, and that ain't legal. He got pardoned by the Governor, so I don't think so.

You can't give Knox a 1 v 1 blocking assignment consistently and expect him to win. This is a problem for your #2 TE. You can have 1 TE like that. You can't have 2 because then it forces you to carry a third that only blocks or to use an offensive lineman in that role who obviously doesn't run routes and it makes your offense predictable. They drafted Kincaid to do what they paid Knox to do which made Knox irrelevant. This would be fine if his salary weren't what it is or if his contract weren't structured the way it is. As it stands Knox about 3 quarters of Knox's salary is dead money.

He gets paid like one of the best of the best. He's not a good blocker and his receiving role has been supplanted by Kincaid. You don't need to pay a guy that much to chip DEs.

I said on a good team. He played for the Raiders and the Falcons. He caught 18 passes last year. I don't think that's a #2 WR even on a bad team. Hollins has caught 131 passes in his entire 6 year career. 57 of of those came in his one season with the Raiders who were so impressed with him that they let him walk after the year. Maybe he had a huge offer the Raiders didn't want to match? Nope. 1 year 2.5 million, less than a million guaranteed. Apart from that 1 year with the Raiders, Hollins has played with 3 other teams over a 5 year span. He averaged 15 (14.8) catches a season for those other 5 years. 16, 10, 16, 14, and 18. Why anyone thinks he's going to suddenly break out at age 30 and deliver WR2 productivity is beyond my comprehension.

Using him as help for Spencer Brown isn't the same thing as using him as an actual blocker.

Didn't want to pay Oakland the severance fee or be compelled to sell their stake in the property. Frankly I don't think Oakland really wanted them to stay at this point which was the purpose of the middle finger fee. I know it was a long time ago, but Oakland stole this team from Kansas City, who stole it from Philadelphia, both times in shady fashion. Karma will work its way back to you.

The bolded players are non-contributors except maybe on special teams. Maybe. People have been waiting on Shorter to do something since his senior year of high school. Hollins is who he is at this point and on a good team he's WR 5 or 6 not 3. Isabella is an outside receiver in a slot body. Shavers is a gunner. Having warm bodies isn't the same thing as addressing the position. Now, can this change between now and camp? Sure. Right now WR is an abyss. They need two more functional players who can play meaningful snaps right now.

Because they are winning more than they did for a long time and people are afraid to fall back into the abyss. It will take a while longer for that ship to turn.

You can't have 2 TEs that don't block which is what made Kincaid's selection puzzling and a bit wasteful. You've got Knox eating up a big chunk of cap to be TE #2 now. Knox's gadget needs to be blocking better so he can be on the field with Kincaid. If that's not it he's teats on a bull with a contract that's tough to move.

Yeah, I liked Darryl Talley too. Dude was a warrior. But, when you're done you're done.

Players only fail physicals if the receiving team wants them to fail the physical.
