Running the football is not the same thing as taking your foot off the gas. If they can control the line again and be productive running the ball they need to keep doing it. They need to maintain their balance as an offense. It is the identity of the offense and when they are actually the most productive. Use the run to set up the p/a intermediate passing game and carve them up. Make the LBs and safeties make decisions on every single play. Make the DL play honest football and not just chase Allen. This is the way.

Yeah, but they've been using Anderson as a TE all year. Motioning, etc. It's the natural progression to have a P/A pass and sneak him out. If they wanted Dawkins it's doable, you flip flop him and Anderson in the formation but that telegraphs it a bit more. Flacco was really good those playoffs. Lots of huge throws.

They were in control of that game the entire time. Even if Andrews catches the ball they are handing it to Allen with a minute twenty and 2 TOs. No shot they don't get a FG. No shot.

This guy gets it. Two playoff wins without Allen God-mode. It's still there, they haven't used it. And the defense did enough. We aren't built to shut teams out, slowing them down is enough. Would I have appreciated more points? Sure, was it better that they not turn it over? Yup.
