That challenge was bizarre. What's the point of hiring John parry if he's gonna give McDermott the green light to challenge that
Do we know what Parry said? Maybe he said something like "It's a coin flip"

The sound of 65,000 buttholes puckering simultaneously.

THANK YOU! Christ! All the beotching here about the run Defense tells me many of you don’t know what’s going on. It’s how we play Defense! Tua’s quick release and surrendering runs makes it look bad, but did we win?? I don’t like it much either, but it undeniably WORKS.
It works when the offense carries its weight and the FG kicker does his job. Defense isn't going to win a ton of games by itself against good offenses. It's also extremely stressful to watch.

Bills play light boxes and don’t ever switch even if run on. It’s just how it is. Some teams will gash them.
Exactly. If you're looking to add someone to address this you're not looking for a LB or a DL. You're looking for a big nickel that can cover AND play in the box. There aren't a lot of those guys.

They dared Miami to run/do short passes and execute long drives all game long. And Miami did.
They need to mix in more run blitzes and pressures, because in my opinion it's way too passive and predictable
Miami did, except when you make Miami do that they limit their own output. They really seem to thrive on chunk plays and when you can slow them down they just never get that juice that they get when you allow them to get huge plays. To their credit they didn't get frustrated today and kind of stuck to the plan, but the reason Bass' kick ended the game was because it took Miami so long to tie the game. The last drive took them almost 5 minutes which was too much time, yet also not enough.
Miami's scoring drives today. 9 plays, 14 plays, 9 plays, 11 plays, 9 plays. If the Bills play them 10 times and force them to do that, they'll beat them at least 9. Weirdly, that seemed to be Miami's defensive game plan also. Make Allen take the short throws all day, be methodical and wait for him to make mistakes or get impatient.

Looks like Bass is off the hook for the moment?
Kickers are like golfers. Maybe that gets him out of his negative headspace and he can go back to just ripping it.

Ineligible man down is cut and dry because it has to do with being 1 yr down field.
And yet we've seen it go to review, with a flag picked up.

I am saying that foul should be a spot foul. The flag was valid as it was.
If you REALLY want to make it a penalty and make it stop you do this. If there is an injury on the play the hitter can't come back into the game until the injured player does. Whether that's in one play or in 8 weeks.

I literally just said the same thing to my wife.
The really outrageous one today was Rapp's. If anyone deserves a penalty on that play it was Mostert.

Just disqualified a Lions helmet hit which wasn't as bad as Poyer.
Idk, I thought that one was worse. There was more time in between the ball going past and the hit coming.
Also worth noting that New York called in to make that ejection.

If (or if not) Keon has an injury from the Poyer play both scenarios almost don't matter.
Poyer did him dirty, got flagged per the rules.
It is not a spot foul. Hence, anytime - given the Bills track record with bizarre end of game plays - you can apparently just have a guy lower his head in the endzone on a 60 yard hail mary pass and it won't give opposition 1st and goal at the 1 - if that is the hard and fast rule they follow.
NFL wants to limit helmet-to-helmet however you can still clean someone up with a cheap hit and it won't matter.
It won't matter? That play lost them the game. If that flag isn't throw the Bills are punting the ball back to Miami with two timeouts and more than a minute left.

That was my fear when they started the drive, they would run down the clock inside 30 seconds and score, go for 2 and essentially end the game.
When they scored with so much time left the 2point play came off the table, I believed we were gonna win at that point.
That was 100% a way the drought Bills would find to lose a game like that against a hated rival.

Talking about sitting multiple starters almost two months from now?
C'mon man.....
Yeah, but looking at the current situation, it's way more likely than normal.
Premature sure, not ridiculous.

Contemplate the value of locking this thread vs seeing more ridiculous takes and the ensuing comedy.....
Why is it ridiculous? If you have the division locked up and can't get to the 1 seed what's the difference?

Replay assist doesn’t do holding penalties. They can cover obvious mistakes made without coaches having to do challenges
They shouldnt do penalties at all. But we've seen them review illegal men down field which is not normally a reviewable play.

I’ve met plenty of people in their 40s who still look youthful. Rodgers is not one of those guys. He looks grizzled and increasingly tired. He also looks ridiculously slow in the pocket.
Rodgers is obviously grasping at straws. It’s sad, at this point.
Brady comparatively, as much as it pains me to say it, seems to have found the secret sauce of youth. The expensive hair plugs probably help with that tho…
HGH does wonders.

My girlfriend lives in Welland, so i need to get back to Fredonia for the game.
Last time i left early, arrived at Peace Bridge at like 830ish, and it was insane.
Leaving Welland at 6am this time. Beat the backup.
Solid move having your wife and your girlfriend in different countries.

I've been enjoying the occasional drop-in on Fin Heaven this year. It's an absolute delight, if you haven't been over there recently. But, boy oh boy, Dolphins fans are perpetually angry at Jordan Poyer. I don't think Poyer is an upgrade over Rapp at this stage of his career, and maybe only marginally better than Hamlin. He's cooked. No speed left. He's been slowing down for a couple years and instincts and experience can only take you so far.

Yeah, but at some point she needs to learn that when your husband does an incredibly stupid thing that costs his team the game AND probably hurt another person maybe it's better just to put the twitter box down for the day.
