Watched Bad News Bears recently and it blew my mind it was rated PG

It's actually a problem if you forget that the rating changes because they haven't re-rated a lot of old movies. Some movies you've seen so much on TV and they are rated "PG" that you forget what's actually in them in the unmodified form. Spaceballs for example. Not terrible, not appropriate though.

Most of Von Miller’s career has been OLB in a 3 -4.  I understand that OLB in a 3 -  4 is apples and oranges to an OLB in a 4 - 3, or a 4 - 2 - 5.  Nevertheless, is it crazy to try a completely healthy  (big if) Von Miller in Milano’s spot?  It keeps Floyd, Groot and/or AJE on the field.  I’m sure he would be fine against the run and most likely a liability in pass coverage.  It would, however, be neat to move him around and put even more pressure on opposing QB, similar to how Dallas uses Parsons.  I’m guessing the answer is maybe five years ago but not at 34 after two knee surgeries.

No. No he isn't. He never was and certainly not now.

Patterson has had 19 Offensive TD's over the last 2 years.....

    also had 600+ rushing & 500+ receiving in 2021

695 yards rushing in 2022 despite playing only 13 games

I would like this move.  He can be lined up anywhere on offense as an "X" factor.

The question is would Dorsey actually use him.

I think when they were building in the offseason they may have counted on Spencer Brown being able to do more than he is capable of.

Then when the bullets started flying, they found themselves with little choice but to play things they way that they are now.

This is weak. Both TEs aren't helping Brown on any play and it's rare that one of them is doing more than chip. That's normal TE behavior and it doesn't preclude them from running routes more elaborate than standing still by the sideline 3 yards up field.

Just spitballing, if you're having trouble containing the left DE and you are often using a TE to help, a TE screen is a viable option that takes advantage of your players' athletic ability and also serves to slow down future pass rush. We don't do that.

If anyone thinks Kincaid would be unable to do what LaPorta has done in Detroit they are mistaken.

I think that's kind of the point. Detroit has a clue how to use their TE. We don't know how to use Knox, and then we spent a first round pick to add another TE to dump the ball to in the flat. It's tremendously terrible resource management to spend the money they spend on Knox and then the draft choice they spent in Kincaid to use them in a way that could be accomplished by much cheaper players.

  6. Next time someone wants to complain about fan behavior in the current facility, just reference this video. It's so old there's a decent chance that the person in the video has died of old age (or cirrhosis). Current fan behavior is unrecognizable from what it was at its worst.

What would the Bills be willing to give up in trade compensation to acquire Patrick Surtain Jr.  Regarded as one of the best young CB's in the league he'd certainly be a huge upgrade after the Tre White injury. He also has 2 cheap years left on his deal.

He's due less than 2M for the rest of this year, a little over 3M next year and you still have the 5th year option to control his '25 season.

The Bills have the next 4 games (including todays) to get a good look at how Benford, Jackson, Elam and perhaps even Ingram will hold it down at outside CB........but what would you be willing to part with to drop in one of the best young CBs onto this roster?

I happen to think it would take a 1st + Elam at a minimum and likely a little more than that.  I love the idea, but at that price and given what we've heard about the strength of the '24 draft it's tough.

    A lot.
