The point of attack holdings on run plays seem to get called pretty often. Line holding on pass plays is much more inconsistent. IMO

I agree. It's been a good enough reason for a couple thousand years given that the Fates were an ancient Greek thing. It will do in a pinch. I don't really have strong feelings about Diggs either way. We knew what we were getting when we traded for him and he did exactly what everyone expected. I don't know why people are butthurt about it. Diggs is the sort of guy who needs to get thrown out of an Applebee's every now and again just to feel normal. I'd wager his personal relationships are similar to his professional ones. Everything is great early on, then he gets bored and itchy and feels the needs for something new and then agitates the situation until someone ditches him. He won't ditch them, but he will be an ass until he gets ditched so he can preserve his ego and sense of continual aggrievance. It's not a horrendous contract to trade. I think. At least this year. Looks like most of his salary has been paid out in bonus money. Problem for the team acquiring him is next year. 49M dead cap if you release him so it's not just this year you have him for, it's next year also. After that the whole contract is voidable.

Then I remembered that it's much more useful to keep the Jets remembering who they are than to worry about the Pats winning the odd game or two.
