Even though this was inevitable and not surprising still kinda sad to see another Mall closing in the area.  I didn't grow up going to Eastern Hills as I was a Northtowner and our mall was the old Summit Park Mall but in recent years I made a couple trips out there with my old man checking out some of the flea market/antique and sports collectible stores they still had going.  You could tell nothing had been updated inside there since the 90s or Hell maybe even the 80s LOL...so it had a cool Nostalgic vibe strolling through there.  It actually reminded me of Summit Park which has now probably been defunct for at least 15 years.  Anybody have any good memories or stories from there?

From Eastern Hills? No. I could go for a slice of Leon's Pizza though.

Wife just got a call from her best friend.  Asked if her and I wanted free tickets to the game Sunday.   Wife asked me if I wanted to go.   I am thinking about a legal separation for the fact she even asked.

Needless to say I'll be there Sunday loud and proud.  Go Bills!

    THAT is a good friend.

Honestly I only care if it's clean and disciplined enough to win.  Ugly wins, I'll take 'em too.

If you are willing to spend $1k on a hotel likely you will pay for a professional driver to take you to and from game rather than depending on finding a Über driver after game.

I was planning on buying a home for the weekend, then hitchiking to the game.

A Bill's Hall of Fame that you have to pay to visit wouldn't bring as much as you think either

There's not a lot of repeat value there

I dunno, I paid to take a tour of Invesco Field and couldn't care less about the Broncos. I was in town, it was a thing to do, it was interesting.  Fun fact, never buy a draft beer at a modern stadium. The tap lines are so long there is no way on Earth that they flush them properly.

    Who did he wreck?

Dude is a great Offensive coach, and a great QB coach. Made Watson what he was in Houston.

Jones was a better QB when they got him than he is now.

Here's my example of BOB QB development. Christian Hackenberg. Left Penn State the same QB he entered Penn State. Zero development whatsoever. Watson happened to be an amazing athlete that Hackenberg wasn't. Not to mention that BOB was very much in the mix of reading away DHop for nothing, etc. please, give him the keys.

I absolutely hope the Pats hire Vrabel as HC over BOB as they get ready to draft their QB of the future.

See and I'm hoping they let BOB run the whole organization because he's a complete putz who wrecked one QB of the future for them already.

I have much more respect for Vrabel.

I don’t think you know the way Harbaugh is wired this is a man who once sat on a park bench in Chicago for 2 hours cause he was in awe of a traffic cop doing his job. Just wouldn’t shock me at all if he stays and said screw this I’ll do it again.

There are diagnosis codes for that sort of thing.

Vrabel is a poor mans Sean Mcdermott,  still a really good coach

And the Cheapest ticket is $500! Every other game including Dallas vs. Green Bay has tickets under $200.

This is false. Plenty of tickets available at $225 right now.

    It was false yesterday too.

As of noon today (Jan. 8), for a single night (Saturday):

    Marriott Millersport:  over $1000.

    Hampton downtown:  over $1000.

Marriott downtown, Westin downtown, Embassy Suites downtown:  No rooms available.

    Millennium:  Reservation system not working.

This is real money coming in to Erie County.  At least three of those hotels are owned by locals, and one is owned by the Pegulas.  The people spending this much on hotels will spend a lot on dinner and drinks, Uber and such.  This is good.

Funny. I was told not a week ago that our financial contributions to the community were minimal and we should keep our mouths shut. Hmmm.

Also, Buffalo now has the NFL's longest active win streak at 5. Rams are second with 4, and Pittsburgh and Green Bay are at 3.

And the one loss was v. The Eagles where we got boned out a fumble recovery that would have won the game.

I kept looking for it but couldn't find it. Anybody else see it?

Maybe it was an internal shock collar that activates if his head comes too far forward?

Or did somebody do an unbelievable job getting him to overcome every instinct in his body to be a billy goat and somehow turn him into a heads up player in just one week?

There's a Poyer, a Hyde, a coach or someone that has a steak dinner coming their way this week.

Hope they at least share their potato with Taylor.

He took a shot at the WR on Benford's int but he was better after that.

I can’t stand when people claim the wind helps us, since our QB has a better arm.  If our QB has a better arm is zero wind, that advantage lessens as there is more wind.  Using an extreme example, if the winds were 100 mph, neither QB would be able throw the ball forward, and both teams would be forced to run only.  Any wind starts to eat into the advantage of the stronger armed QB.

Yes, but the marginal difference is where. The game lies. The wind doesn't blow 100mph, it's going to be 20-25 and it's going to impact Rudolph or Pickett more than Allen. We've all seen noodle armed QBs try to play here when it's windy. Sometimes they were ours.

what was Levy's record without Jim Kelly? Bill Walsh without Montana or Young?

If he feels there's a better organization am sure he'd welcome a trade, one would think that Kraft would trade him where he'd want to go to leave things on good terms.

To give him a happy ending, if you will.

Yes, but so did Miami's D losing Chubb, Phillips and Howard last night as well as a few DB's during the game. Didn't seem to matter as they gave us fits. We got the W, but all I am saying is Pitt has a beter D than Miami. They also have top 3 OL in the NFL. We need to be ready! We will be... but it's not a gimme game just because Watt is out.

And if the Bills just took the FGs they'd have scored 33 on Miami.

I wouldn't say they gave us fits. We moved the ball pretty comfortably most of the night.

No game is a gimmie, especially this time of year, but I like our chances a lot. With or without Watt.
