Why wouldn’t he take less to go back to the NFL? Harbaugh is a different breed. He’s the Josh Allen of Coaches. He wants to win a Lombardi. He’ll take less to get another opportunity. He’s smart though. Most important to him is going to the right team. Not sure if that is the Chargers. Why would he take less?

So malls are dying, I guess that makes sense. Went to a movie at mall a theater on Christmas Eve in the middle of the afternoon and it was empty. I just thought at the time it was because it was Christmas, but now that I'm thinking about it, is that like the opposite of how that should have worked?
I cannot tell you the last time I've been to a mall. Maybe 2 years ago when I went to a dirt mall looking for a shoe repair place to try to fix a piece of hockey gear for me. They wouldn't. I left.

So the Chargers can’t let him out of the building, correct?? Have they already met the Rooney Rule requirements?
Their entire franchise’s future is in the building today and the only way the Chargers should allow out of LA is with a contract.
There is no chance Spanos pays what he needs to pay to get him out of Michigan. Michigan reportedly offered him 125M to stay. ZERO chance Spanos forks that out for a coach.

Be it Ever so humble,
I'm amused how they seem to be strategically clearing the stadium now. Behind the Steeler bench and by the tunnel. Probably smart.

Would love to know how many busses they have. I would not want to wait hours outside the stadium for a bus.
Bus? They've got 4 rickshaws.

Or Paderewski Dr. and tell them to wait for the train.

Not for nothing, but the mall owner should be doing this sort of thing anyway every week to monetize that empty space. So much empty space to tailgate.

Once we weren't playing in a blizzard anymore I feel much better - we are the better team and passing is actually an option now
I think this is where I'm at also.

I dunno about destroy, I'm thinking a workmanlike 24-13 affair.

My son has a hockey game tonight at 740. I need to leave the house at 710 to get there on time. We need to be up about 3 TDs by then.
I know, I know. He's a senior.

My parents have a Generac for their whole house. Runs on natural gas. It's awesome. Ran for a week straight a couple years ago after some real bad summer storms, no issues whatsoever. Automatically clicks over when the power goes out, shuts itself off when the power comes back on.

NFL doesn’t care about injuries. Just come out and say it. It’s all a farce to minimize liability.

All I'm saying is look at a U.S. map and where K.C. is located and where the nearest teams are to them and how much territory they can take up.
Then count the number of people that don't live there. It's like looking at electoral maps.

You gotta love the self-fluffing about the Peacock game that most people thought ran like garbage.
Exactly. If they're gonna put it on a pay tier, at least broadcast it in 4k.
Nope, standard broadcast. Comcast is horrible. Just horrible.

A driving ban on a Tuesday is doable. A driving ban on a Sunday poses some problems, but I would agree players would live near the facilities, not the stadium. But like the 49ers used to do, would you want to drive a bus through the heavy snow from the facility to the stadium?
In this hypothetical situation, a snowstorm isn't going to sneak up on you. If needed, you put the team up in a hotel near the new stadium the night before.

Ok, using that logic, if there's a driving ban at the facilities, but not at the stadium, how are players going to get to the facilities?
in all likelihood they'd continue to live near the facilities. How many days a year are there travel bans? 3? 4?

To match the facilities that are in place in Orchard Park. There's a lot that went into those.
No reason the stadium and the practice facility can't be in different places. It's just across town. Tons of teams have that setup. Washington, Baltimore, and Cleveland immediately come to mind
