  1. He wasn't that bright. Then he got hit in the head a lot. Then he got old. The hamster died, the wheel rusted up and the low wattage bulb it was powering burned out long ago. In a story that will probably only amuse me, Bradshaw used to have *Richard's Sporting Goods commercials that ran at Rich. Everytime it would come on I'd tell out "Terry loves *Richards" I was a precocious middle schooler.
  2. In my perfect world the Bills thread the needle to the one seed and the Chiefs play the Raiders again.
  3. Paging @Sherlock Holmes
  4. The plural of bison is bison, AAA baseball teams notwithstanding.
  5. Allen StreetAllen Street is named after Lewis Allen, Grover Cleveland’s uncle. When Mr. Allen and his wife arrived in Buffalo in 1827, Buffalo wasn’t even a city yet and most of the outskirts of what we now consider “downtown” was undeveloped wooded land and/or farmland. The Allens owned 29 acres of land between what is now Main Street and Hudson Street. As Buffalo grew, Mr. Allen sold off parcels of his land, but he would driving his herd of cows down the same path between the parcels he sold off to bring them to pasture. The path became Allen Street, which was named after him in 1888.
  6. Having to redo all of your verbal calls is though. It's not like you can replicate the gameplan. It's just giving the other team another up close look at exactly what you do against their specific players and calls.
  7. I mean, I like listening to Cris Collinsworth as much as the next guy but here is the 11 minute version you can watch right now with all the good parts and no commercials
  8. Exactly. Who won the week before.
  9. That's like a WWE match. The badger is down just avoiding the count. The jackals interfere and distract the python and the badger escapes and then the jackals and badger team up to beat the pythons ass. Waiting for the badger to stand up on it's hind legs and smash a Miller light on its forehead.
  10. With Miami it would be the third game total and also in back to back weeks. Familiarity is not a great thing.
  11. If the Bills are in the game you won't be finding anything below face value. Nothing. Zip. Nada. If anything it will be one of those oversold games where people buy packages and don't get tickets. I concur, all three afc championship games were better experiences than the super bowl. Game outcome notwithstanding.
  12. Eehhhhhhh. Playing the same team two weeks in a row is sketchy.
  13. The red with the blue? Got a screen shot?
  14. I was lucky enough to go to Super Bowl 28 as a kid with my parents. I wouldn't pay to go again. It's neat to be able to say that I went but our seats weren't good. We were surrounded by Cowboys fans. The atmosphere for the game was solidly corporate even then. It just wasn't nearly as fun as an actual Bills game. Now, what might be worth it would be to go to the city to do the pregame stuff and party then watch the game on tv with a big Bills Backers group somewhere. A drive in move theatre or equivalent temporary setup would be perfect if they'd be down with letting people tailgate. Fwiw, I'd gladly pay $100+ a car for that experience.
  15. It's possible he doesn't want to go. If it's about money, the Pegulas can fix that. If it's really about wanting the job then yeah he will probably get a shot somewhere. If he really just wants to live in his hometown, run a good offense with a good QB, and make a boatload of money in a situation he knows with a GM and HC he knows he can do that too. If he takes the job in LA he's got 2 years to turn it around. Maximum. Plus you are putting yourself in a division with Mahomes and Gruden. It's not going to be easy. The Jets job is a tire fire and if he takes that he deserves what he gets. There will be more but like I said, it depends on what he wants to do. OCs get to coach. HCs are like CEOs and delegate quite a bit. What does he really want?
  16. There are a lot of guys on offense who would make this team very interesting. A little Marshawn Lynch would be good times.
  17. Ya think? I'll take some Takeo Spikes please and thank you. My second choice would probably be Nate Clements.
  18. KC needs three losses total. If BUF, PIT, and KC all finish 13-3 BUF wins most of the 3 way tie breaker scenarios. If you are thinking about this, Cleveland winning tonight helps fractionally. Also, to keep it simple, you want anyone we beat to win as much as possible (apart from beating us of course). You want anyone KC beat to lose as much as possible. You want teams PIT beat to lose. If it gets to this point strength of victory could be the tie breaker and ours is really good at the moment. Carolina seems to be oddly important to this scenario.
  19. #FirstWorldProblems
  20. Because I want Baltimore out and Cleveland winning makes it less likely that we play the Browns in the opening round which is also what I want.
  21. I like the helmets and the orange tops. They really need some white or blue pants though. I'd like to see our reds with blue pants.
  22. The Bills started picking it up. The vertical stack in the backfield to sort out protection is new.
  23. Nope. They will double down and do it more.
  24. It's what they do. It worked twice too but Allen made plays.
