  1. <shrug> I've done it 5 or 6 times. Where you park is key.
  2. I get it, but it's totally doable. If he's in his car by 430 that gives him an hour and 45 minutes to drive to the airport, return the car and get through security with half an hour to spare. It's plenty of time. Even not trying to go fast I used to be able to get from the stadium to Grand Island in 45 minutes and that's when there were 10k more people at the stadium. The airport is half that distance.
  3. I've done it a couple times but you really need to be careful about where you park to make sure you can get out. I'm sure there are other ways but each time I've done it I parked out at the ECC lot, walked with a distinct purpose after the game, gone left onto Southwestern (there is usually a traffic cop that opens a hole for you), immediate right onto Brompton, right onto McKinley. Depending on how you are doing at that point you can either roll McKinley to Milestrip and go left on Milestrip and then over to the I-90, or you can go McKinley to Lake, Lake to Rt 5, Rt 5 to the 190. 190 South to Elm Exit, take Elm to the Kensington and then on to the airport. That way you miss the Thruway which gets funny sometimes. It's not the most direct route, but it will be moving and is very unlikely to jam up on you. The way I do it from McKinley if I'm really felling prickish or if people leave early and the traffic gets crap quickly or if the game runs very long is to make a left off McKinley into the Wegmans parking lot then make a right into the plaza to the right of the Wegmans and keep going. All the parking lots of the strip centers are attached and you can go all the way through and come out by the Home Depot at a traffic light on Milestrip that will let you make a left and skip an absolute ton of stopped traffic then get on the 90. It's a dick move but a missed plane is no bueno and I'm sorry but sometimes you need to do what you need to do. If McKinley is screwed and I can't go the other way that's a bailout. Other helpful tidbits, pack light if possible and don't try to check bags, make sure you can do a carry-on. It speeds up the process. Have everything in the car with you at the game, no going back to a hotel, go directly to the airport. Also, if you have TSA precheck it helps with the airport line. There are a couple flights that leave at that time and it sometimes backs up. What else ya got folks? Those are usually the last flights out on Sunday night. Yes, never ever ever park in one of the main stadium lots. Ever. and if you park in a private lot make sure they don't block you in.
  4. That's not how punting works, you get illegal men downfield if you do that. Those guys aren't looking at the punter and are counting in their heads. If the punter just randomly slows down it throws them all (everyone but the gunners) off. I'm not going to argue about it. Put a clock on it next game if you want. It looked a tick slow to me.
  5. They let Blough back in the game. Might have something to do with that.
  6. I had the same thought. Ball was slow to come out.
  7. They always use one of the local feeds
  8. Im. Watching on NFLN and the second quarter just started
  9. I'd like to see anyone beat their man. Pass rush has been completely non existent and, while the Lions starting Online is in, we have been playing a 2 first round picks and two 2nd round picks heavily and they've done zip in the pass game. It's not like we are rolling the UDFAs out there.
  10. NFLN typically splits the broadcast, half for one team half for the other. I'll bet we have the 1st half with NFLN's own Cynthia Frelund checking in from the sideline.
  11. All 3 Bills preseason games will be shown live on NFLN. How you choose to access NFLN is up to you.
  12. That's fine, he's also had ankle surgery, a torn Achilles, and stress fractures in both of his feet multiple times. If he's having another foot problem right now that doesn't bode well at all regardless of what he's had the last two years.
  13. I'm being completely serious when I say I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't make the team. He's been banged up most of his career and has a long history of leg, ankle, and foot injuries. If he's not going to be healthy he's not worth the roster spot given what our WR room looks like.
  14. This is my primary area of concern this year. The interior line was weak last year and the year before and it needs to get better. It seriously impacts the running game and pressure up the middle has been a consistent issue against better defenses.
  15. It's going to take me some time to adjust to these weird ass numbers.
  16. You're right, but acclimation is a thing. Some heat in August is good, particularly if they need to go South in September, which they do.
  17. Good thing they don't play @Miami in week 2
  18. Bills made out pretty well in the Bennett trade and the Jerry Hughes trade was theivery. We were on the wrong side of the Rob Johnson for the pick that became Fred Taylor trade
  19. Kelly hurt his arm throwing at his football camp one summer. 91 maybe?
