Travis Etienne out for the season

Perfect mentality of a high level D1 coach who just collects recruits and then figures out who is actually going to play after the fact. This ain't college Urban. -

If Gus Frerotte had done what he did with no helmet on there'd be no Gus Frerotte. -

Based on his play if you are trading for Dillard it's not to start, at least not immediately. -

I'm willing to bet he's worn his chin strap that way for a long time but I'm too lazy to look up OSU clips. -

And he didn't fix it after that either. That seems to be an issue the league needs to fix in the name of player safety. -
All-white unis all the time?

I wonder about the white with red pants and the red with white pants. -

For some reason being in Pennsylvania, 15 miles from the Delaware and Maryland borders, is getting me blacked out of the Giants game today. You know, the heart of Giants territory. 🤦♂️ -
I'm not saying he's going to be this guy, but the manner in which he beats people reminds me of Reggie White. White also played LDE primarily but also slid inside sometimes on passing downs just like I think they will do with Roussseau. Rousseau is considerably lighter than White at 265-270 while White was usually up between 285-300 but that was later in his career, at Tennessee and in the mid 1980's with the Eagles he was much more svelte.

We do remember that Roberts fumbled 3 times last year as well right? One was on a play very similar to the one McKenzie muffed today.

So nobody is catching the ball. That bodes well. I would be surprised if we aren't combing other rosters on cut down day looking for a kick returner. McKenzie makes the team either way. -
If Basham weren't a 2nd round pick his spot would be in serious jeopardy right now. Wouldn't shock me if he were to mysteriously pick up an injury requiring IR next week. Same with Marquez Stevenson and Doyle today. No room on the actual roster for them but they picked up injuries, have promise, and won't clear waivers. Stash em.

I've heard it before, but this would also mean drinking Bud Light which is a hard no my friend.

Interior line is still bothering me. Gilliam got stuffed and had to bounce his TD outside, Singletary got stuffed on the 2pt conversion, Moss got stuffed later on on a short yardage but got carried for the 1st down by the defender. Glad she brought her flotation devices. Safety first.- 268 replies

If he played with the ones I think he'd be decent. He's not as mobile as either 10 or 17 but with a decent offensive line I think he can get the ball out to the correct spot enough that it wouldn't be a trainwreck. He's good in the QB room also, perfect #3 QB. You hope he never ever plays, he can limp a game home if need be, and he helps the 2 guys ahead of him.

Because they realized they screwed up and begged the league for an expansion franchise. If they'd built the football stadium before the baseball stadium the Browns wouldn't have left. They didn't do that, even though the Browns were consistently winning at the time, and the baseball team was terrible. They kept stringing Modell along over and over again.

Soldier Field isn't 100 years old. It's 19. The facade surrounding the building is 100 years old. Lambeau Field had an inflation adjusted 455 million dollar renovation in 2001 and another 150 million dollar reno in 2013. And you are right, our stadium isn't in the group of historical stadia, nor should it be. It's old, and not everything old is historical. And FWIW, Cleveland moved because the city jerked Art Modell around about a stadium for a LONG time.

1. Remind me what happened to Cleveland. 2. How much do you think it will cost to rebuild the entire upper deck, because that has to happen. 3. It's still not about being outdated, it's about coming to the end of functional life of a concrete and steel structure in a winter environment with road salt usage.
