  1. It is? Everyone on Lawn Guileland is Jewish? I think the Jesuit who taught me social studies in 11th and 12th grade would disagree.
  2. Not for nothing, I just looked for tickets on 10/3. Didnt seem to be super cheap as though tens of thousands of people were desperately unloading tickets. Maybe it's that most of us believe one thing and you believe the other. If not feel free to DM me with tickets you are unloading for pennies on the dollar. It's my son's only open weekend of the entire season.
  3. Pegulas seem to be looking for anyone and everyone to pick up part of the tab for this stadium. County,State, PSLs, "inviting" UB to be a tenant. Mhmm.
  4. I retract every comment I ever made about Tage Thompson. Sweet feathery Jesus.
  5. I think you missed what I was getting at regarding Sheen and his history of transactional relationships.
  6. Depends. Who is paying?
  7. I still like the yellow splotch in Wyoming. Can confirm I saw quite a few Bills stickers when I was out there this summer.
  8. Swimmers do it a lot. It can be as much for recovery as pain mgt.
  9. Maybe he's dating an octopus?
  10. It's a nice way of saying they all screwed up at some point but they all also did some things well. I don't think the coach is going to call them out in a press conference as much as we might want him to.
  11. I think there is a difference between PETA protesting on behalf of an animal and a group of actual human beings telling you over the course of a number of years that the word you are directly attaching to them specifically is offensive to them and they want you to stop using the word. I highly doubt you'd drive out onto a reservation somewhere, hop out of your car, and say something akin to "Hey, how are all of you redskins doing today?" If you wouldn't use the word in that fashion why is ok to use the word as part of a caricature of those exact same people? Go out to a reservation dressed head to toe in that costume your high school used. If it's an overblown thing that isn't worthy of consideration then you should have nothing to be concerned about. Right? It's not about everything being offensive and needing to be eliminated. It's about listening to people we as a society haven't normally listened to and God forbid at least trying to be a basic level of respectful towards. You are welcome to use whatever words you want to use. There are a long list of words that different people have asked not to be called and for obvious reasons I won't make a list. I would suggest that if you wouldn't use those words in the presence of the people the words refer to then you are actually aware that they are not appropriate and choose to use them anyway. If your child brought home someone from one of the groups with a word that has been deemed to be inappropriate and you wouldn't call them that word to their face immediately upon meeting them then, again, you are aware the word is hurtful. You wouldn't use it out of common courtesy and politeness. I still occasionally refer to the football team as the Redskins, it takes awhile to change your linguistic habits after spending 40 years calling something one name, but I'm at least making an effort. If you're not at least willing to try, and using that specific word in that way is more important to you than having a basic level of respect for people who have repeatedly asked you to stop doing it, then I dunno what to tell you. Quite frankly, the board has a language filter that is pretty liberally applied to plenty of other words the world at large has deemed to be inappropriate for public consumption and it's a little surprising (and at the same time not at all) that that particular word hasn't been included yet.
  12. Negative
  13. They were arguing about their favorite "At Home with Baker Mayfield" commercial.
  14. I bet his wife doesn't mind his bank roll. Cut the guy a little slack, he got hit in the head. A lot. For a long time.
  15. This. There are plenty of examples to go watch. You make a rule to decrease the amount of fighting. The rule succeeds in decreasing the fighting so the fans wonder why there is a rule.
  16. Ok, I'm cherry picking stats. If you're going to cherry pick a stat, I'd say TD production is a pretty good one to pick. This team is not built to win games with it's defense. It's not built to win games by kicking field goals. It's built to outscore you and slow you down just enough so that we win the game in the end. If this team doesn't score TDs it isn't going to win, particularly against other competent teams, all the other stats aside. Can they beat the Jets with 6 field goals? Maybe. Can they beat the teams they need to beat to get where they need to go that way? No. To me a field goal is a win for the other team and I think other teams look at it that way also.
  17. 5 offensive tds in the last 14 quarters against good defenses. 5.
  18. It keeps mouth breathers alive.
  19. I'm just saying something you don't want to hear, but that's fine.
  20. We will find out in mid October whether anything has changed or not. KC and Tennessee owned them 3 times last year. If it's different we should expect a different result. I expect them to be 2-2 at that point and those games will be huge.
  21. They are going to let Beasley walk, McKenzie is never going to be expensive, Sanders if they bring him back won't be more than he is now and will be year to year forever. Diggs they should probably also let walk in 2024 given what his age will be at that point and the amount of money he will want. If he wants to be team friendly that's fine but spending big money and years on players over 30 isn't a great plan. Davis they will probably extend so yes, there will need to be added investment in WR but WRs seem to be more readily available than decent o linemen. College football makes more of them right now.
  22. They can beat lots of people, just not the people they need to beat.
  23. The Rams first half is the last time they looked good against a good defense. I cited that already. The second half of that game, the offense slowed down considerably and they almost coughed up the game if not for a gift PI call. Seattle, despite being a playoff team had one of the worst pass defenses in the history of football I stand by my statement. The Bills offense is overrated and pads its stats against bad teams.
