The KO team did a nice job hemming Pacheco in and making KC earn an additional first down several times. You aren't going to pitch shut outs against them but making them be more methodical has been the strat for a couple years and it's easier to do now. That's doesn't mean easy. Just easier.

There is a funny thing about averages. There are lots of ways to get to the same outcome. Singletary tends to do something like this (0, 2, 3, 0, 20) to arrive at a 5 ypc average when it might be more helpful to have (3, 7, 3, 8, 4) to arrive at the same ypc. I think you are highly overestimating the cost of acquisition.

NY is a different animal than Buffalo. If they traded Barkley after a 4-1 start Schoen would be pilloried immediately. That's a trade you make before the season, before anyone has hope. Right now they can see they playoffs and if you take that away all the goodwill is gone.
