Marcus Mariota -
I dunno how many spots really offer a chance to start. All the new coaches and GMs who need a QB are going to want to draft a guy.

Unpopular opinion, Jim Kelly calling his own plays wasn't a great thing at the time and would be less so now with the helmet radios that let the OC talk to the QB until 15 seconds are left on the play clock. That's a lot of why so many teams play with tempo now, it's not really subs, it's getting to the line so the person upstairs can help diagnose presnap. Why not? Nobody wanted to give him more last year. What has happened to increase his personal value?
-
I'd like to keep him if only because he's the wish.com version of Allen and idk who else we could bring in and not have to change a lot of the offense with.

Cowboys line was weak this year.

Matt Nagy also has a connection to McDermott and was solid as an OC if they want someone with experience.

John DiFilippo and Pat Shurmur are available as QB coaches. McD has a connection to Shurmur. Shurmur was QB coach when the Eagles had McNabb (McD on staff) and DiFillippo was the QB coach back when the Eagles won the Super Bowl and Carson Wentz looked good. I point them out because of the skill set similarities between those QBs and young Joshua. I don't think I want the Bills to hire Jordan Palmer because that would stop his off-season work with 17.

FTR I don't think the whole long range battery thing is going to be the solution to this. IMO we already have the technology in transoms like they use on electric locomotives. They are trying this out in Germany right now. It would be much simpler and cheaper and better for the world to build charging zones onto existing long distance roads. Each vehicle would have a transom to deploy and draw current from the overhead wire, like a locomotive or a bumper car. The zones wouldn't need to be contiguous over the entire highway system. Just in selected locations for a select distance that would need to be calculated (vehicles need x number of minutes in a charge zone to recoup y amount of charge therefore we need z amount of charging zone miles per 100) for vehicles to be able to stay in the middle 50 percent of battery life, and/or on long uphill sections where power draw is high. You have an account hooked to your car like an ezpass, you activate the transom in a zone when you want to or the car can be programmed to do it automatically in set parameters and it just does it and you are billed. Depending on how you wanted to do it you could even have it like your electric utility bill in that different providers could offer contracts at certain rates to supply you the electricity, you pay a surcharge to the utility for transmission and maintenance. Seamless electricity for your car wherever you are. When you get to your destination you charge at a stationary port like normal because there is time to do it there. The local road networks are fine for current batteries and stationary charging though if you felt the need to make something you could because electric buses and light rail are a thing. If focus on long haul first though. Out on the interstate and for things like long distance trucking it just doesn't work with batteries and sitting still to charge and it isn't going to. Make it so you can charge while moving and you've got a viable technology that is actually an improvement. The technology is 100 years old and is very reliable. It works in all weather conditions, it's relatively easy to maintain/repair, and it's comparatively cheap to install the infrastructure. Tweak it for this purpose and call it a win.

that's the problem, not to mention I would be very wary of going below half in potentially bad weather that could have me stranded on the road or stuck in terrible traffic for a long time. It's easy to find a gas station in just about every town in this country, it's not always easy to find a charging station and, in that scenario, finding an empty charging station would be even worse.

I love Ryan Fitzpatrick. He and Fred Jackson are 2 of my favorite Bills of all time and I was alive for the Super Bowl teams.

How to listen to radio broadcasts of games from this season?

This week's game is still on the SiriusXM app. Listened to it tonight. At the 2:36:00 mark John Murphy does an ad. "If you're in a car crash, like the Patriots have been tonight, call the Barnes Firm." LOL -
I make trips that length or more almost every weekend in the winter. The range thing is an issue for me.

I have a Craftsman 24" and I agree with others who say not to buy them. Mine is absolutely fine for the snow I get in SEPA and if it runs more than a handful of times in a typical winter that's a lot. The most it probably runs in a year is in March when I run it dry because I put too much gas in it to clear the 4 inches of snow we got in February. I've had it for a decade but there is absolutely no way this thing would last that long in actual winter conditions. For here though, it's actually perfect. It was dirt cheap, it's ultra basic so there are less things to break, it's light so it's easy to move around when it's in the way the 362 days a year I'm not using it, and it starts and runs well (I do baby it quite a bit to make sure it runs when I need it to). I always put Stabil Marine in my fuel when I buy it in the fall/winter because IDK how long it's going to sit around before it's used. You never really know when the last mow will be down here (this year was mid November) and then there is a strong possibility that you won't use the fuel again until April. In the summer I don't bother because my kids mow lawns in the neighborhood and we blow through the gas fast enough that I don't need to worry about the gas turning. In the winter though? Ehhhh. I don't really want to run 4 month old ethanol blended gas through a carburetor without some level of insurance so that's when the fuel stabilizer becomes a thing.
