Our offensive line is terrible, it has been a problem for several years and it seems that the organizations attitude towards it is that band aids are acceptable. Allen takes too many hits, has to run too much, and the running game is garbage. And yet they still score because of 17. Imagine what they'd do if they could block.

And this is what I mean about needing to draft better. Bernard was clearly drafted with the knowledge that Edmunds was probably going to go. He wasn't close to ready to play last year which leads to questions about his readiness for next year hence we are talking about finding a replacement for the replacement. We are talking about TE2 because Sweeney was drafted and can't play. We signed Miller because we drafted Epenesa, Basham AND Rousseau and none of them can get to the QB. Etc.

His career numbers don't bear that out.

More than that. It's well documented that he becomes more productive as the game wears on. He'd be wasted on this team.

I'm not going to debate his ability as a GM right now but the issue this off-season isn't with free agency, it's with the past couple drafts where they haven't been able to find cost controlled guys who can step in and fill roles well so they need to keep shopping for replacements which is a challenge when you have a good team and limited cap. They NEED to start hitting on draft picks, not just to be rotational fodder, but to step up and be impact players.

Well, if he's highlighting athletic ability rather than versatility why did he put the word "VERSATILE" in all caps rather than "ATHLETIC"? He quite literally highlighted his versatility in the tweet.

I'm aware of that. He's the polar opposite of Taylor Lewan which is what made it odd.

I'm responding to the tweet which is gushing about his ability to play fullback and jumbo TE and C as well as guard. I'm sure that gives McBeane all the wood but I don't care and if they are ever using him as a jumbo TE it's because he's sucked at guard and lost his job.

Can I have a guard that's just really good at being a guard? I don't need him to be a multi tool and suck at a lot of things. I need him to do one job really well.

He bring what the Bills value in OL, guys that can underwhelm at multiple positions.

He's already a glaring hole fill it with whatever.

His injury history is/was better than Watson's and he's got a cargo ship less baggage. He should absolutely be asking for this. It's Cleveland's fault for handing Watson silliness.
