  1. The burning effigies will give you warmth.
  2. They are both turnstiles
  3. Well, I guess the question then is does it matter if you play at home in January or not? Many would argue that it does and last November cost them that opportunity.
  4. I don't think the Bills have the best roster in the league. I also think this group has shown significant blind spots in talent evaluation at OL, DL, and RB which leave them vulnerable in ways a top level team shouldn't be. They've wasted assets on players then had to spend more assets to replace or supplant those wasted assets and still have players in key positions that aren't any good.
  5. You don't. If they go into another November swoon questions need to be asked though
  6. I don't think anyone envies our offensive line. That doesn't matter though. Everything is fine.
  7. You mean the ones with the lead paint on the side that they told everyone to destroy 30 years ago? Or the second edition they did after that without the lead paint? The lead ones have a white background, the non lead don't.
  8. Apart from the Parker Atlas that describes a settlement and cemetery at that location, yeah total old wives tale. http://www.nysm.nysed.gov/research-collections/ethnography/collections/research-and-collections-arthur-c-parker He had a bit of education and interest in local history as well.
  9. Bryce Harper partially tore his UCL and wasn't able to play the field and throw the rest of the year. I'm sure this will be fine though. It's not like our stadium is built on a burial ground or something....
  10. I drove past it Friday night. It was green.
  11. You guys are aware Josh Allen probably doesn't manage his Twitter account right?
  12. If it were hockey he'd be a high event player. Whether he's an offensive high event player whose scoring offsets his liabilities or a high event defensive liability whose mistakes outweigh his offensive contribution is up for some debate.
  13. Yeah. It's kinda nice too. 6-1 and we have some guys coming back. It's a good feeling.
  14. Agreed. It's sunk cost. You can't keep chasing that but it's a classic mistake people consistently make.
  15. Josh Allen liked them too. Play them rookies Andy. You don't need any defense. It's fine.
  16. I'm saying it now. Dean Marlowe is going to make a huge play at least once this season. He is what he is, but he fits what they do like a glove and is a smart dude.
  17. Also, let me address this short yardage back question. Zack Moss was a "power back" who absolutely sucked at short yardage. Hines is 5'9" 196lbs. One of the best short yardage backs the Bills ever had was 5'10" 200lbs. Thurman Thomas. I know he didn't play goalline all the time and blah blah. If you needed a yard in a big spot that dude got you at least a yard and a half. Ask Brian Cox about that. It's not always about being big, it's finding the soft spot. Moss acted like a power back but he wasnt. Derrick Henry is a power back. Moss tried to run like Henry and couldn't. The Bills have just as many power back options today as they did yesterday. Doesn't mean Hines or Cook can't pickup short yardage. I dont think Singetary's stop and start style lends itself well to it but the other two could.
  18. Cook looked decent on Sunday and reeled in a nice catch himself. Maybe it's that now they have two backs that can catch and run rather than one and you can have sorts of fun with two guys like that on the field at once with a TE and two WRs. What defense do you bring in? The two RBs and 2 WRs sort of dictates 3 LBs but then if you split them both out the D is gonna have a bad time. Matchup nightmare and they won't do it all the time but when they do it's going to be fun.
  19. What do we need that for? 😂 Watching Singletary try to catch that would be high comedy. He has hands like a seal.
  20. Heck yes given that where we are in the world now the league will be handing us back at least a 6th every year anyway.
  21. He is, but they need more and better depth there. Marlowe is the devil they know in that regard.
  22. McK has fumbled a kickoff without being touched. Lots of things happen when he touches the ball. Some of them are good. Some of them are not. They are always of high interest. This is not what I want in my return people. I will sacrifice significant upside to know for certain this offense is getting the ball back. In previous years we needed to steal a TD here and there in returns. This is not that year. Catch the ball, run forward rather than sideways, zero turnovers. That is my goal and if I'm honest zero turnovers comes before running forward. Fair catch everything IDGAF.
