Fun fact. Stetson Bennett's NIL deals expire at midnight. If they win tonight, they want an additional 60k to extend what was a months long 25k deal until the Championship game.
This game is like the earlier Chiefs game. Nice to win but ultimately irrelevant. You need to play and beat the same people to get to the end no matter what. It really makes no difference where the games are played. We like to think it does, but it doesn't. Would the top seed be nice? Maybe. Who were the two top seeds last year? They both lost after their bye? Oh. A 1 seed hasn't won the Super Bowl since 2017.
Would it be nice? Sure. Does it make anything a lock? Nope.
If I were going anywhere it would be to go to Buffalo to watch the game with my friends and then go to the parade. I went to 28. It was fine, but it's a better home experience tbh. Stands are full of Chets and Muffys who don't care about the game so the game atmosphere itself sucks.
I could see them botching this and falling behind the Pats...or Raiders. I could also see Tennessee and Jacksonville BOTH making it. Not that crazy a scenario.
Bills drought team. Get in position with a hot start then repeatedly soil yourself until you are out of it. Losing these last two games in the manner they will lose them, to the teams they will lose them to, has a distinct whiff of Dick Jauron.
Bills game is on ch.7 tonight idk why they'd not show the early games. That makes no sense and I'm currently watching it in Cheektowaga so it's not a blackout issue due to proximity
