  1. Sage, when were you elected God All Mighty of the Board? I thought this board was based on free speech and opinions. I guess you voted for Obama and have the ability to decide what people can and cannot say. If you read what I said, you might actually see that it is my OPINION, which is more prophetic than anything after today's game. Moderator, please do not start eliminating posts on this board because someone does not agree with the aggregate opinion! Just because I said Jauron is a .500 coach and no more does not mean that my IQ is below the Mason Dixon line. In actuality, it's well above average and the facts are there for the taking. Look them up! I'm as much of a Bills fan as the next guy but facts are facts. This team has basically sucked for at least 8 years now and it has only been average at best under Jauron's tenure. I've said it since day one, .500 Dick is not the right coach for this team and he's proving it with every tough opponent that the Bills face. If beating a below average San Diego team at home under adverse conditions constitutes a BIG victory, well, shut down the city and celebrate. That's as good as it's going to get under Jauron.
  2. Sorry Folks, never going to happen with a Jauron coached team. This guy will keep the game as close as possible and NEVER let his QB throw for any significant yardage, regardless who the QB is. .500 Dick does not like lighting it up or doing anything that might "show up" the opponent. Trent will only throw for more than 250 yards if Dick has a brain cramp and doesn't realize what's going on around him. He has to tight of control of this team to allow such a tragedy to happen. Same as having his #1 RB rush for more than 100 yards. He is afraid that someone will develop a "star" attitude under his watch and actually deserve more pub than Dick himself, which is minimal at best.
  3. Poor Coaching, Poor QB play, Coaching, Lack of ANY Running Game and Coaching
  4. He would have ran for the locker room with 3 timeouts and a minute left. He has no balls!!
  5. He should be canned, not signed to an extension. I've been saying it since day 1, he is not the right coach for this team.
  6. Sure, 5-2 but 0-1 in the Division with the single loss against the weakest team in it (possibly the 2nd weakest after today). NO EXCUSES!! The coach takes responsiblility for this loss and the other 40+ plus in his career. He isn't the right coach for this team. I've said it since day 1 and I'm saying it now. Anytime there is a tough game, Coach Dick turtles up and is no where to be found. Once again this team was unprepared to play on the road against a conference opponent, let alone a division one. If anyone deserves an extension, it's Moorman for not giving up more points! Jauron is not the right coach for this young up and coming team regarless of what anyone thinks. He has a track record of losing the games that count the most (which shows he can't coach or win in the big game).
  7. Cancel it, he still can't coach in a BIG game.
  8. If Limbaugh offered to buy the Bills and keep them in Buffalo, you people would be lining up to kiss his a$$.
  9. I'm just curious, does anyone in Orlando go to the Bills Backers locations? I know there are 2 in Orlando and 1 in Deland but I personally never have been to any of them. I prefer the comfort of my own home or another Bills fans house to watch the games. I'm in DeBary and the Deland location isn't all that far but it's a small journey to the other Backer locations.
  10. I'm one of those watching the Bills every week that I'm not up in Buffalo for the game. I also know of 4 other people off the top of my head that are watching so I guess Orlando is a displaced Bills Fans common home.
  11. The best part of the whole thread so far was the John Belushi link from 1941. Classic movie and possibly his 2nd best character next to Bluto. Belushi had some pretty good scenes in 1941 with a fantastic cast throughout the whole movie. Also, I'm feeling pretty good about the Bills this year, not 1990 good, probably more like 1980 good or 1997 good. I agree that a Hull type Center, though not as important as a game changing Bennett style linebacker are probably the two most important needs for this team to get over the top.
  12. If it was a legal play, didn't Greer recover the fumble anyway? Or was that after the guy was ruled down? Good question but I think the time would have run off the clock because it was reviewed with no time showing IIRC.
  13. Well said. Henderson ranks in the top 5 DT's in the league and more likely in the top 3. He was invisible for much of the day. The sack up the middle appeared to be just a lucky stunt that they caught the Bills a little offguard. Fowler went to his left and Meier started to his left then back to his right, where Fowler had just opened up. Things like that are going to happen and if we have to fear that TE is going to get a booboo every time he gets hit, maybe he needs to toughen up. He bounced right up though, thankfully. Considering the Bills OL has played against 2 pretty good Defensive Units in the first two weeks, they have held their own really well. Sacks and misreads along the line are going to happen. Look at what our defense did to Seattle's Line. They didn't know which way we were coming from. If the Bills on average give up 1 sack a game, thats only 16 on the year and probably leading the league by a ton in that category. Sh**, 2 a game is still an improvement.
  14. Orlando here too. I wasn't at yesterday's game but I went to J-Ville a few years ago for the Bills game and the Jag fans are pretty clueless for the most part. Most of the people I talked to were from elsewhere and didn't have any previous allegiance so they decided to follow the Jags. They just don't have the same passion as us Bills fans do since we're born with the Bills and live and die with them. It's more of something to do on a Sunday to kill time it seems. It's not a football town and probably never will be. On a side note to dovetail what Santoro mentioned, Jacksonville has by far and away the best looking fans attending the game fo the 3 Florida teams. There are many many more young women that attend there and aren't afraid to dress like they're heading to the beach. Miami has too many 175lb.+ Hispanic women cramming into their size 3's and Tampa seems to be an older crowd for the most part.
  15. Tindale was pretty good in his short time in Buffalo. Holmes was a pretty good change of pace back too and had a nice little career in Buffalo. Still, Kenny Davis and Thurman were a Great Combo.
  16. 1900 - Before any kind of modern protection - no foundation - no building codes - no warning 2008 - Post Modernization - Major Building Restrictions and Safety Features - WARNINGS FOR DAYS!! Post when you have substance. Media is probably over-hyping the situation, like it did with Katrina. Look beyond the obvious and why problems happen. Poor local governmental structure to help alleviate problems in New Orleans for years and years knowing that the problems existed. No structure to help with evacuations all add up to hundreds dead. At least Galveston knows its coming and will be leaving the same day. Prepare and move on.
  17. Leaving Orlando at 6:30am tomorrow and there till Monday. Section 309, 8 seats together, tailgating at the Center road to ECC and the Back Row of the Stadium Lot.
  18. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a BINGO!! *card checked* that's a good BINGO!! I don't think anything else needs to be posted, discussed or written about this matter any more. It's all about Parker and not about Peter's. If Parker had Peter's interest in mind, he would have had him in camp by the 8th and a contract would have been forthcoming. Nuff said.
  19. That's pretty awesome. May Day was the probably the 3rd biggest Buffalo event that I've been to behind the Raider's Championship Game and of the course the Oiler's Comeback Game. I have to say though, that for purely decible level rankings, the May Day game was the loudest event I've ever been too. (not counting Van Halen at the Aud in '78 or '79 which was pretty loud)
  20. I'm not sure the Bills will deal with any holdouts in the coming years. The only possibility would be Whitner but that's doubtful. As a previous poster noted, they are more likely to lose the likes of McGee and Crowell than actually have someone holdout. If I had to pick one player though, I would say it would be Whitner, but I really think he's become a leader on this team and knows that he would only set back the team regardless of personal gain.
  21. What would the Bills do with Horn except use his AARP card to get meal discounts when they're on the road. Why not bring back Peerless if that's the case, or even Andre, he looks like he still can lace them up. We still don't know if Turk is going to be allowed to utilize the WR's he already has, once the season starts, given DJ's propensity to play it conservative and play not to lose.
  22. Nice to see Jauron and the Offensive coaches up to their old tricks with JP. His first series and they run, run and leave him 3rd and long, in which the Steelers drop 7 into coverage and the O-Line promptly collapses around him.
  23. The least Brown could do on a slow day is let us know if the Customs let Lynch over the Border for hitting that Canadian Chick, Eh.
  24. As pathetic as this offense is, I'll take a "Cog" right now!
  25. I believe that is was Michael Gaines that we saw dropping passes by the boatload last year and not Royal. I'm not saying that Royal didn't drop any, I'm just saying that is number of drops is much less than what we saw out of Gaines.
