  1. Just 2?? Hell, it would be a giant TBD circle jerk if some of these folk saw that happen!
  2. I know the Bills can't wear Jerseys of former players for the game obviously, but, what if they came out in warmups with EJ wearing a Kelly 12, Sammy wearing a Reed 83, CJ wearing a Thurman 34, Mario wearing a Bruce 78, The Beard wearing a Lofton 80, Wood wearing a Hull 67, Chandler wearing a Metz 88, Spikes wearing a Conlan 58 and so on, just to Honor the early 90 teams and an honor to the Ralph legacy? I know it sounds kinda stupid but with Reed getting in the Hall and most of the above mentioned, in the Hall, it would be a cool sight. Also, would they be wearing the black high tops with the throwbacks. That is a pretty cool look, IMO.
  3. Classic! Just one of so many parts of that movie that will go down as classic comedy. The best part of that particular exchange is that until they appeared in that movie, both of those actors were "typecasted" as serious actors.
  4. I forgot to mention that the Harry Buffalo on Church St. Reserves the upstairs for the Bills Fans. I was told by management that there's a nice crowd but haven't been there for a game yet.
  5. I live in the northern suburbs of Orlando and I don't know of any "Bills Backers" locations. I do know of a Beefs in Deland that has a pretty decent Bills crowd but nothing official. I personally have the Ticket, a two keg kegerator, varying food weekly and a small group of people over at my place for the games but I'm probably over an hour from the Kissimmee area.
  6. There's always a smartass in the crowd... I was hoping it was where all the over-the-top drunks went to vomit on each other instead of vomiting on us normal #1 in the NFL drunks!
  7. What does this mean: "200 Level Seats in the end zones are accessible through the 100 Level VOMITories" It's at the bottom right of the stadium map just above the key. Does this have something to do with the Bills fans being the drunkest in the NFL?
  8. EXACTLY! Bills fans have a reputation to uphold here, Fat, Drunk and Stupid is the only way to go through life!
  9. Yes, the stadium was in the biggest party mode I have ever seen
  10. I love a drunken rant as much as the next guy but that one is a gollywhopper!!
  11. Wouldn't Brown be the primary backup to Spikes and an occasional backup at Sam? The pick makes perfect sense and a possible starter in a year if Spikes ends up leaving. You can't view every pick as a starter right away and look at these picks logically folks. BPA at a position needing depth!
  12. Bottom line is that Schopp is good if you want to hear about Tennis, Soccer or some sort of long distance running. Bulldog is a follower that might or might not be a Bills or Sabres fan depending on Schopps mood for the day. Neither of them really have an opinion that makes any sense, only something that creates controversery. The only thing they ever did that was decent was when their previous program director played "The Match Game" and they followed along. Great for an afternoon drive show but didn't really make it for a sports talk radio thing. The morning show is attrocious with Jeremy White or whatever his name is. I cannot believe that he is still on the radio. I can't imagine that the rating for that show hovers anywhere near .5% with that guy on the air. He should pay Howard Simon half his salary for even having a job on that station. I understand it's Buffalo and it's a fairly simple market but White is really a joke when it comes down to knowledge about sports. I think he might be a Sabres season ticker holder but that doesn't make him knowledgable. I live in the Orlando area and try to listen to the station through the app mornings and afternoons and honestly find myself listening to Murph's evening show and Sal's show from the weekend on demand instead of those shows because Simon, White, Schopp and whatever bulldogs last name is, are really unbearable to listen to most days. Joe B., in my opinion, was a schill(sp) of Schopp and Bulldog while they had Jerry Sullivan on, but ever since Sullivan has left, Buscaglia seems to have opened up his eyes and become a much better beat guy and reporter. He tried so hard to be a dickhead like Sullivan for a long time but he seems to be an honest, open-minded reporter that cover the Bills. IMO, Sal should be on in the mornings with possibly Kollar(sp) and the afternoon could be filled with anybody that has sports knowledge. Sal is by far the best all around sports personality on that station and I am not related to him.
  13. I like the schedule. We were going to have to play all these teams at some point during the season anyway, does it really matter when they play them? Sure, the last month of the season is tough but if the Bills ever expect to be relevant again, they have to play the big boys when it counts. If the Bills win the division but have to play New England at home in January, is everyone going to complain that it's the schedule makers screwing the Bills playing against another cold weather team at home in January?.............I didn't think so. Let the schedule play out. It couldn't be more favorable for the first 3 months. December is a schedule set up for a team that is either ready for prime time or a team ready to miss the playoffs for the 15th straight season. We shall see!!
  14. Excellent post WM with kudos to Taskers Ghost for the very informative stats on Spiller. Is Chris Johnson still available?
  15. With the Bills luck, they will be playing the Packers on the Monday before the Thanksgiving game and then playing Sunday 3 days later against the Patriots on the road at 1pm, all while the Patriots are coming off a bye and having played the previous Thursday against the Pack, also having 18 days to prepare. The Bills will set a NFL record for the most games played in one week and all the talking heads will be saying that its just bad luck and there is no conspiracy against the Bills.
  16. I don't disagree with the fact that maximizing our current assets is the way to go, but I don't think the current management is going to sit around to wait and see if cj is going to sign an extension either. If they trade him great, if he walks so be it. This current staff didn't draft him, nor do I think they would have given the chance. I'm just saying that if the opportunity is there to upgrade your team regardless whose feelings get hurt, you do it. I'm a huge fan of spillers and I do like everything Fred has done for the Bills. All I am saying is that this new management/coaching staff is going in a new direction. Half of the players under gailey were gone last year and the rest are soon to follow. Don't be surprised to see maybe 6-10 players left from the team that played in 2012. It's a new era for the Bills and hopefully new results.
  17. WORD!!! Skycap has it pegged. Who cares whose contract is up, whose old and is a nice f'in guy or who signed with the Bills in free agency. It doesn't matter. If the opportunity is there to upgrade your team with a pro bowl talent, you do it! Is he better than Fred? Hell yes everyday. Will Freds feelings be hurt? Who the F cares? This management and coaching group want to win and win now. They don't give a rats a$$ who gets shoved off the bus or into a retirement home. Winning is all that matters and every fan of this team should see that right now!!
  18. Would anyone think that possibly using the existing Orchard Park site to build (or rebuild) a new and modern stadium for the Bills would work? I ask this because I live in an Orlando suburb and right now, the city of Orlando is in the middle of completely rebuilding the Citrus Bowl (built in 1936) on the same site and using portions of the old structure into a new and modern facility. I will attempt to attach a link to pictures of the old, the existing and the planned new football stadium. If anyone has ever been to the Citrus Bowl, you know that the Ralph is a modern palace compared to the CB. The city of Orlando felt that hosting a few football games a year didn't warrant building a brand new stadium that would cost hundreds of millions of dollars. What they did envision though, was investing $200 million, using the existing footprint and portions of the original structure and rebuilding the "lower Bowl" into a modern football facility. It's just a thought but I would imagine it's a possibility considering that the land, infrastructure and parking issues that would arise in building a new stadium are probably the biggest hurdles that need to be overcome. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=florida+citrus+bowl+renovations&qpvt=florida+citrus+bowl+renovations&FORM=IGRE&id=3604B5EB6F8967C0CBDD6F279879D9521C3B819A&selectedIndex=14#a
  19. So sorry to hear about your loss WS. Hopefully as time passes, you will have nothing but fond memories of fantastic times together. Prayers go out to you and your family. God Bless
  20. Maybe Jerry had this same experience, from Deadspin: someone had left an indeterminate amount of semen on the sheets of the second bed, and those sheets had been taken away for cleaning, and hadn't come back. Journalist: I just checked into my room and there were no sheets on the bed. Concierge: Sorry Sir. Those sheets were drenched with semen and are currently being laundered. Could be awhile. Journalist: Jeez. How much of it was there? Concierge: Hard to say. One, maybe two loads. Funny stuff there. Sounds like it's should be interesting to say the least.
  21. I see the following starting positions addressed in Free Agency: OLG, possibly a Beadles from Denver to put a solid veteran in the line and then draft someone such as Richardson to take the RT position and let Pears loose to free up some cash to get Beadles. Could also see an additional depth signing here, possibly a Schwartz from KC. TE, possibly a Pettigrew, who could be a potential 3 down TE that this team needs. He might not stretch the field as a Graham or Gronkowski, but he could also save a roster spot by needing only 2 TE's and a FB that could play a H-Back role if needed. ILB, possibly a vet like Jon Beason or even a Dan Connor who has been injury prone but might fit into this D. I see ILB taken in the 2nd and 6th rounds though. WR, probably not addressed immediately in FA but the need for a receiver like Cotchery might take a week but could happen as a huge pickup(based on a redzone need) after the initial flurry of players moving. I don't see Watkins getting drafted by the Bills since they already have (2) identical players like him in Graham and Goodwin. Evans is a nice player but the Bills will be looking for a solid starter at 9 and if the 2nd best OT in the country is there, he will be taken, IMO. RB, I doubt we will see any movement here other than a late draft pick of UDFA but there are a lot of FA RB's available that might jump at a 3rd string, possible starter position down the road with Fred aging and Spiller possibly not being an every down back. Teams aren't signing FA RB's as much anymore so there are potential guys like Starks or even a Gerhart that might move with the idea of having a prominent role as the year progresses and even more the next year. I see the Bills going a little heavier in FA this year, just not making a huge splash other than at possibly TE or OG.
  22. Love everything but Watkins in the 1st. The Bills have drafted that exact guy (size and all) in the 3rd round the past 2 years. I don't see a WR in the 1st this year. Unless somehow a Calvin Johnson type falls to #9, get over seeing a WR there. It's going to be an OT there or a trade down. The rest of the draft and F/A would be great and if Storm Johnson is there in the 5th, sprint to the podium. Living in central florida and seeing him, grab him if he falls that far. Bortles would be a nice QB too but EJ has much bigger upside and Bortles wouldn't fit as a #2 in buffalo.
