  1. No bumper stickers but I have a few window stickers on the back of my wife's F-150....on one side there is a Bill's logo and a Kelly Tough sticker, the other side are a couple of stickers from my daughters softball team. I don't think any of them are obnoxious in any way, unless you think the Bills stickers are since I live in Florida.
  2. Nothing wrong with any of that......seasons over again, same old story, just prolonged this year. Just wait till next year..............again!! I guess we can discuss if there's going to be a coaching change.......again Is it February 2nd already?
  3. Definitely take the short walk over to the Big Tree after you check out the stadium. A lot of friendly locals hang out there and every now and then you might run into a current or ex-Bill while there. The food is typical bar food but very good. The wings are as good or better than the tourist places, like Anchor Bar. I go there every time I am up there for a game and am never disappointed. Try the stuffed peppers too.
  4. I would hope they're looking at the Admiral's kid just in case he declares
  5. That was awesome...My wife and I looked at each other with the wtf look. I thought maybe the announcers were watching a different game at that point.
  6. wade? He might not have had enough games, I'll have to guess chan.
  7. Looks like Marrone has at least 9 aliases and keeps voting for himself
  8. THIS!!! These are NFL football players being taught and led by college coaches on offense! It is maddening to try and pick out which player sucks worse when the ones leading them are at fault here.
  9. I can't blame Orton completely. Hackett has now gotten 6 games exclusively coaching and game planning with him and Orton has progressively gotten worse. Orton was coached from the moment he signed to the Houston debacle by the assistants and he started out fine. The more Hackett's influence has penetrated him, the worse he's gotten. The same could be said for EJ. I personally think that EJ regressed both this year and last as the season went on. That is all on coaching or lack thereof.
  10. Didn't he already lose it? Well, I guess he didn't lose it completely but it was removed once, nearly lost, found and reattached.
  11. 20 points off how many turnovers? 6, 7? What was the average drive start on those? The 30 of theirs? Absolutely pathetic!!! Run up the middle on first and second down against one of the better run defenses isn't very good coaching. Good teams with good coaching actually try to score in those situations. Marrone and Hackett need to go before the end of this season !
  12. I would save the Cowboys for a later week and take the Texans in Tennessee. My other choice would be the Browns over the Raiders. Save the Haws and Boys for later in the year if you can.
  13. First, the basic thing to know about Bed Bugs is that they are hitchhikers. They will crawl from an infested item such as a box spring and get into almost anything, such as luggage, clothing and furniture. An adult Bed Bug is roughly about 3/16ths of an inch long and about 1/8th wide. They are oval or egg shaped, reddish brown in color and very thin if looking at them from the side. They can be easily seen on mattress, box springs and the back of headboards. They become more difficult to spot in other furniture such as nightstands, chairs, sofas or sleepersofas. The main thing to look for is their fecal deposits. They generally crap where they live or pretty close to it. The deposits look like someone took a black pen and put a bunch of dots in a small area. That's usually the first thing I look for when I am trying to find them. Next, they usually will live close to their food source, (humans). They are called Bed Bugs for a reason. They will live around the mattress cord (the rope like material around the mattress), they will also live around the box spring, usually under the folds of the material stapled to the wood of the "box". If anyone frequents hotels, I highly recommend pulling back a couple corners of the sheets and inspect the mattress and then, slide the mattress slightly off the box spring and pull back the bed skirt and inspect the elastic of the skirt then inspect the underside corners of the boxspring. Take a flashlight every time you travel and use it to help with the inspection. It is the safest way to go. I live in a heavy tourist area and would say that 90+ percent of hotels that I have been in doing inspections have had at least one room with Bed Bug activity. Be very careful if you are garage sale shopping and buying any of the above items. Always inspect any of them before you purchase.
  14. I haven't read through the entire thread yet but you would be fine getting used mattresses as long as you invest in mattress encasements. You can find them anywhere online for any size mattress. The reason I say this is because of the Bed Bug issue brought up. First, Bed Bugs DO NOT live inside mattress, then come out to feed. It's a common myth. They live in the folds of mattresses, box springs, night stands, head boards, bed frames.and just about any crack and crevice close enough to a food source. The adults and nymphs are large enough to see with the naked eye but the eggs are a bit more difficult to see, which is why I suggest the encasements. The encasements will cover the entire mattress and if you are unlucky enough to get a mattress with unhatched eggs(extremely unlikely), you will basically kill them by encasing them and not allowing them their food source (blood). I am pretty close to an expert on those creatures and have killed more than my fair share. You will know if you get a mattress with Bed Bugs as long as you inspect it closely. You can PM me if you are really worried about Bed Bugs. I can tell you what to look for.
  15. I thought he was the guy that played tennis against Connors, Borg and MacEnroe in the early 80's, a real big hitter. Beat me to it!!
  16. Cards by far is the safest...........my other personal choice this week is Cincy but that's just a hunch.
  17. Duffs would be a good place to go on those off days. If you are staying in the area of the stadium, the big tree inn is another place for very good food and lots of beer. Be aware that this is a smallish local hang out and not a sprawling place like duffs but very good pub food and the wings are great. The lot question I can't answer but you can pay cash and park in most stadium lots on game day, most everyday Bills fans don't park in the stadium lots.
  18. Standing ovations are almost as easy to get as a Noble Peace prize. They seem to hand out those peace prizes out to any inner-city rabble-rouser out there. At least to get a standing ovation, you actually have to do something special to deserve it. I hope the rumblings at the Ralph registers in the Richter Scale tomorrow.
  19. Arizona would be my first choice, Atlanta would be my second
  20. That was last weeks report, it's dated the 27th. I haven't heard anything this week on him since all the injury talk revolves around Kyle Williams and Bradham. I think Goodwin, though fragile, offers something to the offense even if he doesn't get a lot of balls thrown his way. The free (deep) safety has to respect his deep speed which keeps the defense a little more honest.
