Bills NFL Network Preseason Re-Broadcast Dates/Times
flomoe replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have the sports package here in Florida too and I'm guessing that the NFL will screw this up somehow so us out-of-staters won't see it unless we subscribe to their $100 money grab package. -
That's funny shlt. You might have better luck getting a cabbie from Kosovo to do the talking for you, they might feel sorry.

Just made the annual call the get the ticket discounted. Been with DTV since '97 but there was a screw up in their billing and they have me since '99. Anyway, talked to retention, told them I got got their department by accident(lie). Straight up asked for any discounts for the ticket. He put me on hold for about 5 minutes(fine by me, just refilled my scotch). Tells me that since I've been around forever, they'll give me the ticket for $25/month for 4 months but they'll give me $25 off/month for 12 months. I said fine, asked how he was doing this evening and he asked if I could hold another minute. Comes back and thanks me for asking how he was, offered the $25 off for 24 months instead. Then asks if I need any equipment upgraded. I end up with 3 new wireless minis and a $500 discount(overall) with the ticket essentially for free. It pays to be honest and cordial I guess.

Bills' 2016 Training Camp - Day 2
flomoe replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"Glove wearing Mary" J/K but why the hell is tyrod wearing gloves? I'm guessing for a better grip but if he starts sucking during the season, the comparisons between him and that other glove wearing Mary, captain checkdown, are going to surface *sarcasm* -
Just had their Shrimp Cuban Friday, it was delicious!

Again the media fuels the fire to get all this crap going

If I were to bet, I would say it's going to be Rueben Brown. He has done a TV thing and I know he's sat in with Murph for shows, I'm thinking as recently as Febuary or March, when this decision was probably being made. He didn't sound bad, has great knowledge of the game and loves the area. If not him, it will be an ex-player that was beloved while here and even more after they left.

🤔🔫 Really not sure that this has been discussed before, I'm glad someone finally decided to bring up this topic.

Bills Announce Pricing for 2016 Individual Game Tickets
flomoe replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, the Dolphins, a division rival, is considered a "bronze" game. It's amazing how that game is considered lower tier. That used to be the hot game of the year many moons ago. -
He's just okay. Somebody will draft him but it won't be the Bills. He needs to much development and the Bills don't have the time to invest in a guy that will be a career backup or 3rd string clipboard holder.

Nice work, I would expect a QB taken in there somewhere though.

I'm really hating what our culture and society has become!!!! -
This sounds right on to me. On a side note, if Rex was introducing Hillary or Bernie, would the very left leaning Western New York community be so rattled by that??

There's a stadium here in Orlando for multiple Bowl Games, random NCAA games during the season, I saw Notre Dame play Navy a while ago there, they host several high school games including the state championships(high school football is bigger than the NFL in Florida). They recently held the FSU Spring game, the stadium is currently home to Orlando City of the MLS and also hosts the grand daddy, The Florida Classic, the annual game between Bethune Cookman and Florida A & M. I would guess that the Citrus Bowl generates more revenue annually than the Ralph. The city of Orlando recently poured over $200 million in renovations to try to attract other events, probably including the NFL. If anyone is interested in seeing some renovation pictures that might be feasible at the Ralph, just search Citrus Bowl Renovation photos. They eliminated everything but the upper deck and rebuilt it from there. Pretty amazing. I would link them but I don't know how.

I'm in if the Bills play in Otown, it's only about a 30+ minute ride for me. The ancient stadium has been revamped in recent years and looks pretty sweet. I could see the fish playing a home game there but probably not a division game. Orlando is definitely dominated by fish fans and even though the NFL has crammed the jags, and to a lesser extent, the bucs, down their throat, it's still fish country. It's definitely an attempt at a money grab by the NFL and it would be a similar situation to London, where every team would cycle through a game there over the exit decade. I personally don't see it going over to well.

Chef Jim--->Chef Jane--->Chef Dragon
flomoe replied to BringBackFergy's topic in Off the Wall Archives
WTF ??? Really, what has this society become and where is it going? Good Lord that's is one fu|<ed up thing! The only thing about that article is that there is a picture, about 3/4 of the way down that could supplant the Peter Pan photo as the go to "gotcha" link(it's very YMCAish). -
Any Mel Brooks movie, they're all great. Loved Silent Movie....the only spoken words in the movie are by a mime, genius. American Sniper Better Off Dead The Hollywood Knights Godfather I and II Goodfellas Airplane Inglorious Bastards-Pulp Fiction-Reservoir Dogs (Tarentino is generally an a$$ but he does make interesting movies) The Jerk The incredible Mr. Limpet and The Reluctant Astronaut I'm sure there's more but those are off the top of my head.

Too many of our former players went to division rivals.
flomoe replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One teams trash is another teams treasure, apparently! Who the fu|< gives a rats a$$ about former Bills, who by the way, haven't accomplished anything, that end up elsewhere? I would be more worried about players like Dareus, Gilmore, Glenn, A. Williams and Incognito if they moved on, but were extended so they wouldn't get away. Nothing to see here, move along please. -
I agree also! The talent is there at every position with the possible exception at QB. Taylor is still the wild card this year and I honestly think that if he raises his level of play from last year, this team will advance beyond being a wild card contender. Every "skill" position has some serious talent, either drafted or acquired, and Whaley has everything to do with that. This team has kept its own talent (for the most part) and gone out and acquired it to fill specific holes. I hope all the naysayers here will own up next spring and say they were wrong about the staff and front office after the Bills deep playoff run.

Nigel Bradham's comments about Rex Ryan's defense
flomoe replied to gr8billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank You!! The defense was not Dominant, it was aggressive at times but far from dominant. The "dominance" was their ability to get after the QB. When they weren't getting after the QB, they were good against the run at times but susceptible at others. The D was horrible against the pass(see Leodis) and very weak stopping anyone when they weren't blitzing. If anyone wants to look at the "dominant" D under Pettine, please look up any stat that isn't related to sacks!!! That D was atrocious overall and couldn't stop anybody. I think there is a myth out there, because this team has sucked for so long, that somehow the team was great the two years prior to Rex. It wasn't and it was far from dominant! -
How would you feel if Ryan Fitzpatrick won a title in 2016?
flomoe replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shocked....because it's not going to happen. He can go to Denver and hope that the Defense wins it for him because he can't/won't. It will be long shot for Denver to repeat because of everyone they lost on D already and they've lost the leadership of Manning. I will be extremely surprised if they even win their division. -
Nope. Please elaborate.

And the myth lives on.... It's more likely that he gets gunned down by fellow "community" members being initiated for the next gang up. The inner cities of Baltimore, Chicago, Washington, Oakland, Miami, Orlando and others are being overrun by gangs and the criminal element. Police officers that are trying to do their jobs with their hands tied are getting a bad rap by overhyped media that has set their agenda. It's really sad what the inner cities have become.
