Marcell Dareus entering rehab
HuSeYiN_NYC replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm no professional at reading people's faces but i like to think that I'm decent at it. I noticed (which more than likely all of you guys have also) that Marcel isn't comfortable giving interviews. The media and popularity may be getting to him in some ways also. I mean, just cuz you're amazing at a sport doesn't mean that you're born to be in front of a camera with flashing lights everywhere you go. Marcel probably just wants to get away from everybody asking him questions about the same things over and over and over again. -
Marcell Dareus entering rehab

This i know. People have ALL kinds of stress relief or at least TRY to relieve stress in many different ways. Some may pray, some may meditate, others run, some people eat their stress away and the list goes on. I'm just saying weed isn't a reason to go to rehab which makes me believe that he just wants peace and quiet so he can try and get his mind right. -
Marcell Dareus entering rehab

I don't believe in marijuana rehab unfortunately. If it's for depression then i understand but marijuana isn't a drug like heroin where if you don't use it, you get the shakes. If you have to check yourself into rehab for marijuana, then chances are you will end up smoking again cuz you love to get high. I'm not just talking out my a$$ here either. I've smoked weed for 10 years and it ACTUALLY put me in a depressed state of mind to the point where constant negative thoughts in my head day after day with added anxiety put me into a severe depression. I didn't go to any rehab or psychiatrist cuz i knew what the problem was. The weed triggered the depression but my thoughts made it worse. To stop smoking weed, you just have to hate it. It's simple to stop smoking when you actually hate what it does to you. Your thoughts on the other hand is a MUCH tougher thing to be in control of. I could of made more sense of this but I'm rushing cuz i wanna watch the game but basically what I'm saying is, if he checked into rehab to clear his mind then i completely agree and support him for that. But if it's for marijuana, then, well, i believe in the future he'll smoke again. -
Damn Whaley, keep your sexual encounters to yourself. We have kids on twitter.

Darren Sharper sentenced to 18 years

Bro this one i just don't get at all. He's a good looking guy with money and can get a handful of beautiful women just for being who he is. The fact that he drugged them to rape them is crazy. I always thought of him to be a very smart person also. Just goes to show you that the demons people have can't always be seen on the outside. He definitely has a sick mind. -
The proof is in the pudding. Now i bet you're expecting me to provide the proof after saying that but this is where i have to let you know that i saw an opportunity to say "the proof is in the pudding" and i took it because I've always wanted to say it and never did before. I still don't know what the hell it means. If it's pudding, then aren't the ingredients all mixed together? How can you get the proof out of it? Is it like taking the lactose out of milk?

You do too damn much for free. Somebody pay this man. And thanks for the writeups. -
Haha. Nice. I too was worried.

You're actually not wrong on this one. Chain of command. If Rex gets a small blame for Dareus' actions then a bigger percentage goes to the DLine coach since he spends more time with him. I completely agree. It'show this business is in every aspect. The QB of the team receives the wins and losses on his record for a "team" event. So if you can award 1 person for 48 people's actions, then putting some responsibility on Rex for Dareus' actions is not going overboard.
-
It can be as low as F'ing .0000000001% for all i care. At the end of the day he gets a percentage of the blame right? No seriously. Right or F'ing wrong? To say he's 100% not to blame is what we're talking about here.
-
Question 2 is irrelevant but to answer question 1, he could have been as they call him, "a player's coach", talked to him about life (as Dareus says that they do), tell him how important he is to the team and how he needs him to teach the young guys how to be a professional by leading by example if not by words. How's everything with the family blah blah blah. Talk a lil liquor talk a lil weed, joke about him being suspended and then get serious and remind him that his NFL career isn't guaranteed to last longer than a day. Any day on the field can be your last. Tell him he can do all that weed smoking after his career in the NFL is done. Now let's say he does all that and Dareus still smokes right? Guess what? Whaley will have something to say to Rex, Russ Brandon will have something to say to Rex, Pegulas will have something to say to Rex. They don't NEED to say ANYTHING to Dareus because they hired someone to manage the players get it? It's a small blame but at the end of the F'ing day, its a FREAKIN blame. Nobody saying rex is 100% to blame and I'm gonna stop typing cuz I'm starting to get upset at this bufoonery. He gets a blame whether you believe he should or not.
-
If you work for a big company and you have a superior, is he not blamed from HIS superior for YOUR actions? Your superior may not cut the checks, but he is blamed for not managing you well by HIS superior. You might get suspended/fired, but guess what? Your superior might also get suspended/fired. Get it?
-
Nobody is saying Rex is 100% to be blamed for another man's actions but for you to even think he doesn't have a percentage of the blame is beyond my train of thought. It's simple logic. Yet it's the hardest to explain. Smh.
-
Your sarcasm could of been better. Fail. I give that a 1 out of 10. In an interview Marcell said that him and Rex don't just talk football and that they talk about life and all that good stuff. But at the end of the day, I'm your boss. There has to be a willingness to WANT to play for Rex and that simply isn't the case. How can you label somebody a "player's coach" if the players don't respect him enough to (and i can't believe I'm saying this), not smoke weed. I mean, I'm not saying to not breathe, not drink or not eat (necessities in life to survive). I'm asking you to not do something that will A) Hurt your income, B) Hurt your team and C) Hurt your career.
-
If I'm running a business and my employees aren't taking their job serious am i not to blame for a percentage of their behavior? Of course i am. If I'm a leader and so called (player's coach), i should be able to have my players focus on what's important. NFL careers average around 4-5 years only. If you're lucky you'll play for 10+ years. Once you're done with your career, smoke and eat all you want dumbass.

I'm gonna stop working and start selling weed to Bills players. At least i know for sure I'll make a few sales. Smh.

8-15: Bills' 2016 Training Camp - (10 AM - 12 PM)
HuSeYiN_NYC replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me personally, I'm not worried about having another home run threat. Steve Johnson wasn't particularly considered a speedster either but his route running, his way of fooling the defenders had him create separation and he was our #1 receiver at one point (yikes). Powell might be that kind of a WR. -
Kind of creepy lol.

The Goodwin name in particular but i have NO problems with Robert Woods being our #2. If we can find a better WR who can line up opposite Watkins and use Woods for the slot, even better. But this year we gonna have to make do with what we got. Powell seems to be making some noise. I gotta admit. Even though it was just a preseason game, that kid looks like he can play. I definitely liked what i saw from Powell. He fell down awkwards a couple of times and even looked to be injured, then a couple plays later i see him back out on the field making plays. Shows durability. I like it. -

I'll take Barnett but ONLY if it's a package deal with TKO... -
Well if he failed the weed test doesn't that mean he passed the sober test?
