THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Good Gets Bad, Bad Gets Good
HuSeYiN_NYC replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great read... I'll admit I was bashing TT but that's only cuz I'm able to sit comfortably on my couch and watch replays and decide what he SHOULD of done. The line never gave TT a chance and he still did the best he could. One of my wow moments last night was when the pocket collapsed on the sides and TT stepped IN the pocket like a Brady move and I was like wow. But instead of pulling the trigger like Brady would of, TT got sacked. It was an unfortunate way to play on primetime but back to the drawing board. I really hope the coaches make some changes on the Lines of both sides of the ball and playcalling on offense. -
I dont get into stuff like that. I learned my lesson many years ago not to hand out wins and losses before the actual game is played. 1 game at a time for me. Although I agree (what's not to agree with honestly) that the Bills were as bad as we've ever seen them. No sign of ever making it a competitive game last night. But, you forget we still have players in that locker room that have been in this position before (Kyle and Eric Wood) and can be playing their last year of football and will talk to the players in the locker room and fix things up. I know for SURE the players can recover from this performance based on the leadership we have. The only thing that worries me is the offensive playcalling. If THAT doesnt get adjusted then God Help us...

Breaking News: The Bills Realize the Truth
HuSeYiN_NYC replied to trainspotting's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't nickname Tyrod "three and out" Taylor. Better nickname is Tyrod "I only throw if you're WIDE open" Taylor or, Tyrod "can I get 2 seconds to scan the field without staring at Eric's last name in my face please?" Taylor. -
So at 11:46 last night you came to the conclusion that the Bills won't win a single game the rest of the way?

Last Bills Jets game I went to was like 5 years ago in Jersey. Had issues from the start. I paid for stadium parking. When I get to the lot, Jet fans had their cars and trucks parked sideways instead of in the parking spot. Meaning, one car was taking up 3 parking spaces. I'm not a "start shìt 1st" kind of guy but I'm also not afraid of confrontation. After circling the lot a few times, stress started entering my mind. Then somebody threw something on my car. I don't know who did it or what it was they threw but it was a tough enough object to startle me but thankfully not tough enough to make a dent or scratch the paint. I stepped out the car and started yelling at whichever green jersey I saw. Nobody claimed it. After that day i said, I'm never driving to a Bills Jets game in jersey ever again. If I ever DO go, it will be by train since the train leaves u literally by the stadium... -

I think we all were uncharacteristic last night especially myself. I went on a cursing rampage in the game thread which normally I just keep my cool but I couldn't hold it in. It was SO obvious what our players were doing. They were trying to punch the ball out instead of just tackling the ball carrier. All of the turnovers we had in the past never looked THIS forced. In previous games, our players would be in position to either defend or tackle and then add in a punch WHILE tackling and sometimes the ball would pop out. This game was not the case. They went punch amd punch only. It's almost as if all they saw was the ball and not the body carrying it. We got beat in every single phase of the game. The nerves were there pregame (for me at least). Normally I'm calm. But this game the nerves were on 100 for some reason. Maybe cuz I know how important a win would of been. Now, the day after, it still hurts, but somewhere DEEP in my soul, I can acknowledge that we're 5-3 which is a great record to have after 8 games, but I think the WAY we lost and the WAY we played leaves me with more questions than answers which is the only reason why 5-3 doesn't look as good as it should. A harder fought game, a close game til the end, a will to fight and a simple adjustment in playcalling (on offense) would have made the loss bearable. But unfortunately it didn't play out that way and now we go against a future HOFer next Sunday. Only good thing is, we will be at home. A win next week is the only thing that will answer the questions. This loss from last night will hurt a while for sure. -
I hope they look back at this game and get Tredavious White tears...

Official fire Rick Dennison thread
HuSeYiN_NYC replied to Buffalo Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just stop... he isn't getting fired... I wanted to start a, how do we recover from this thread but I'm not really a thread starter... so i guess the next best thing is I can ask a serious question... After a performance like tonight, how do we recover? Will the coaches mix it up on the O-line again and try something new? Will Dennison call more slant routes (everytime it was called tonight we got major yards)? It just seemed like we were just weaker at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball... Dennison is here to stay... I just want to know how we can adjust the playbook this late in the season. -

It wasn't the whole missing Dareus so much as just both sides of the ball got destroyed at the snap of the ball... Jets just looked meaner, stronger, more prepared and hungry... -
