Rams Team Building Strategy Will It Be Duplicated or a Rareity

Rams build is what McBeane preach against. The opposite of having a chance every year and never mortgaging your future -

Questions Surrounding a New Stadium in OP .

Just speaking as someone with experience on the funding / cost control side of government funded projects. PLAs are usually cheaper than Prevailing Wage and are more likely on a huge project like this, soy that's good. But PLAs are still more expensive than non-union private sector construction labor rates which are still WAY higher than minimum wage. It depends on the project and availability of labor so I don't have a cheat sheet to factor in all the variables. -
Mike McDaniel hired as HC by Miami

I think it's actually the exception that proves the point. One of the components of racism is a very broad and pervasive dominant culture that includes a programmed bias against dark skin. Passing as white is a thing because the cultural bias occurs very deep in the brain as an evolutionary trick of perception that encourages us to divide ourselves into tribes and has nothing to do with the person themselves or their ancestry. -

Yeah, just look at what Brady has been able to do by staying in the E-P system for so long and becoming a coach on the field. He's even become able to incorporate new players ina way that the system doesn't lend itself to.

I was assuming that fan discussion doesn't affect the ability of the players, cosmically or otherwise... Players, positional coaches and coordinators shouldn't be thinking about this, head coach shouldn't spend more than 0.5% of his time on it this week... But with all that said... someone in the organization has the job of gathering information and being prepared for the moment when this decision actually needs to be made. That's what's made this group successful: short term and long term thinking; chewing and walking gum... Err, I mean

K, thanks for the correction. I feel like every time I watch a Cardinals game Vallejo makes a big play so I guess I over inflated his role.

Yeah I used the search... didn't see the dates and accidentally dredged up this old thread, lol. I tried to delete my reply right away but it was too late. When I read LA my brain thought Raiders, lol.

Sorry I thought this was a newer topic. Started a new thread instead

Looks like Daboll will be hired as a head coach in mid February... How do you think we will replace him? I don't think Ken Dorsey should be handed the job without a series of serious interviews with other candidates. Assuming we are sticking with the Erhardt Perkins system that narrows our options. Can we inventory the current E-P offenses in the league? Did Brady bring it to Tampa Bay? Of all the playoff teams, I feel like they most closely resemble our offense. Did New England still run an E-P system this year? It sure didn't look like a very advanced one if so...

This draft got even better this year ... Five of the six are starters for playoff teams. Tanner Vallejo - Arizona, Zay Jones - Las Vegas, Milano, Dawkins, and honorable status as playoff starter to Tre White obviously. Zay was actually getting league wide respect and making plays down the stretch until the last play of the Bengals matchup, which was a bad pass under pressure by Carr, not his fault. All six players are still in the league... And the sixth one, while not currently desired to actually see regular season time on the field, even during COVID... has at one time been featured in his team's season opening hype video... 😂. But the fact remains that five of six are well respected playoff starters if not stars.

I think that the team was pacing itself and it was intentional by the coaches. They know it's a long season. And in 2019 and 2020 the team was beat up and burnt out going into the playoffs. They've been doing load management all year. Sure, trying and hoping to win enough games for home field, but treating the regular season as much like preseason as the crucible it is... with the eye on peaking in the playoffs instead of tearing it up in season and then slogging our way through the playoffs like last year. Examples: Fan/media take was, why are they running vanilla run plays, splitting carries, and not rushing often. Coaches plan? Devin clearly the better back but let's not wear him out. Let's not get pigeon holed into our best running game early in the season and wear it out. Let's work on / develop the pass game early in the season with our depth at receiver. Fan/media take: Why is Sanders getting so many targets, Diggs not being the primary go to guy, and Davis and McKenzie barely even utilized? Coaches plan? Let's get Allen comfortable with Sanders. Let's work on some passing concepts that we haven't excelled at in the last couple years and let's not show our complete, best passing offense until the playoffs.

Defensive turnovers/endzone celebrations
wakingfane replied to I'm Spartacus's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree.. because it's usually not spontaneous anymore or even emotional really. It's almost mandatory when there's an interception now, to start jogging toward the end zone looking around like, "okay... Are my boys with me? Huh? Huh? We doin this end zone thing? Okay! Yeah, we're doin it, yeah, let's go!" -
