  1. I am rooting for Brees and the Saints
  2. I think that the additional of a star WR and offensive lineman would perk up the offense. We need to hit on our high draft picks to get stars
  3. 3 for me. If our defense slows the Pats down and Josh has his best game we can win. They need to stay close and keep the crowd into the game
  4. And also be prepared to change the system again at halftime to foil Belichick’s adjustments
  5. Plus, for the price the Sunday ticket, you can get wings and a few beers if you go to a bar. The main downside is you usually have to get to the bar early to get a decent seat.
  6. They seem to have a log jam on the OL. Maybe they will try to move one if they can find a team with needs
  7. I live in the Dallas area. I hope that I can get me some tickets for the Thanksgiving game!
  8. My opinion is that the signing of Nsekhe, like some of the other FA signings, gives the Bills the opportunity to select the best player the fits their needs (OL, DL, WR, TE) without having a glaring hole. Morse is a solid starter. Both WRs are potential starters, but neither is a star #1 WR.
  9. Flutie is a good comparison. He was plagued by blocked passes and didn't have the zip in his arm to make all of the throws needed to stretch NFL defenses. I live in Allen, where Murray went to HS and saw him win a few state championships. I think Kyler is a bit faster. The big question for me is if his arm is strong enough to stretch NFL defenses with deep outs. I think that Kyler could thrive in the right system and with good talent around him.
  10. But Bill would make him work hard. I’m not sure he wants that
  11. After having so many past QBs who checked down too often, I’m thrilled to have a QB who can stretch the field. Hopefully, he will get better at the shorter throws with experience and coaching. I think that he will be awesome as a play action QB if we can establish our running game.
  12. Stretch Goal: Win the division. I believe that the Patriots are vulnerable at this point. Gronk and Brady aren't what they used to be. Tune the roster to beat the Patriots from a match-up perspective.
  13. Yes, a true #1 WR makes catches when the defense doubles him or puts their shutdown corner on him. They make big plays, big first downs and win 75% of the 50/50 balls thrown their way
  14. Looking at ESPN's QBR, Allen has a 57.1 rating, just behind Cam Newton (59.8) and Aaron Rodgers (57.4) and ahead of Prescott (53.8) Mayfield (51.3), Darnold (34.4) and Rosen (30.5). I agree that he needs to improve his passing, especially when to run vs. pass, how to use a lower velocity when needed, and when to throw the ball away instead of trying to make a hero pass. Subjectively, Allen has been the most entertaining QB to watch since the early Flutie days for me. I like you that on any given play Allen can beat you with a long pass or a long run and prefer to see him throw some bad interceptions rather that always being captain check-down. I hope that Allen continues to learn and gets better talent around him next year. Honestly, I don't care much if they win or lose games like the Jets game since we are out of the playoffs. If we win, great for the team. If we lose, we get better draft choices. I just want to see the Bills develop Josh and the rest of the team for next year
  15. I’d rather be the Bills. Our talent is younger and our QB hasn’t proven to be worse than average yet. The Bills will likely get a lot better, while the Jags have likely peaked
  16. I like the Saints, they have talent and I like Brees’ experience in the playoffs, especially if they can pull off home field advantage
  17. I've been to AT&T Stadium (Cowboys). It is awesome!!
  18. Except for the Vikings game, this season has been brutal for the offense. I do think that the defense is in good shape. I believe that McD, McB and Daboll should be given one more year to to get the offense on track. It will probably take more than one year to completely rebuild the offensive line, given that 4 starters probably need to be replaced, but hopefully the o-line can improve enough to protect Allen. I think Allen has the potential to be a franchise QB, but we won't know until the o-line and WRs improve. So, if Allen turns out to be a franchise QB and the offense improves next year, I'm good. This year is on McB in my opinion. He either over estimated the o-line and WR talent or was willing to tank this year. Rebooting every two years won't work.
  19. I don’t see the FO getting the team in a bad salary cap situation. I think McBean emphasizes sustainability. I also predict the there will be some hits along with some misses. This year is definitely going to be difficult to watch with the lack of talent at WR, but next year could be good if they get talent inline with the money they spend and Allen matures
  20. IMHO, a player should be cut AFTER a better replacement is found. Right now, KB isn't our worst WR (at least that is what the coaches think) and Peterman shouldn't be cut until Derek Anderson is up to speed.

  22. I think getting a franchise QB the the most important part of having a competitive team, rebuilding or not. It remains to be seen if Josh Allen is a franchise QB, but I don't fault McBeane for using a lot of draft capital on Allen. Finding OL, WRs and other non-QB positions are less problematic. If McBeane found a franchise QB and an all pro LB, then his plan is proceeding well. Next year we have decent draft capital and amble cap space to improve OL, DL, and WRs. The departure of Incognito and Wood certainly hurt our chances on returning to the playoffs this year. I'm not sure what McBeane could have done to help the OL without mortgaging our future. Obviously, Coleman was a miss. I think it is too early to write off Lotulelei, Murphy, Davis and KB.
  23. This is a bit premature. We are only 1 game back
  24. Fitzpatrick was know to have a weak arm. I don't think his arm is stronger than Peterman's. Also, Fitzy wasn't the most accurate of QBs. I preferred Fitzy over Tyrod because he at least attempted difficult throws when they were needed. I'd rather see an INT attempting a 20 yard throw on third and 19 with 1 minute left in the 4th Quarter than a 5 yard dumpoff.
  25. I would go for Mack if we could shore up the offensive line with free agency. Throw in a good WR from the second round and we would have a solid team.
