I do agree with you that both sides can be very unreasonable. I wasn't for shutting down schools, especially for so long. I felt bad for parents that had to school their children. As a parent who home schools we grew into it one child at a time. To have multiple kids at home all at once and no experience home schooling your kids and you have to work, all at once, that is a recipe for disaster. Not every parent is geared to home school. My wife had what it took. I think trump is evil the way he treats people.
