It was pretty loud back in the 90's too! The difference is that those games were sold out with 80, 290 seats, 9k or so more seats. If I'm not mistaken, back then the field had a significant crown so the Bills RB's were literally running downfield. Rich Stadium, Ralph Wilson stadium, New Era field has usually been a very loud place...when the Bills are winning.

How's this! Since 1990, 73.8% of teams that started the season 3-0 reached the playoffs. They have a much better chance of making the postseason at this point than missing it. Plus, We still get to play the 0-3 Dolphins 2x !! Currently Tennessee is 1-2, Philly is 1-2, Washington is 0-2, Cleveland is 1-2, Denver is 0-3, Pittsburgh is 0-3. The Jets are 0-3. The good teams are Ravens are 2-1, NE 3-0, Dallas 3-0. Do I want the Buffalo Bills to crush the NE Patriots...YES! Crush the Cowboys...YES! Crush the Ravens...YES! "What is best in life to crush your enemies see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of their fans?"

The Bengals ARE a bad team as their offensive line is currently in shambles and they can't run the ball or stop the run. The only aspect keeping them in games has been QB Andy Dalton to WR Tyler Boyd, WR John Ross. Both the Bengals defense and offense are ranked in the top 20's PF 25, YR 18, and PA 27, YA 26. The guy who was one of the very best RB's last season (Joe Mixon)with a 4.9 ypc, so far this year after three games has 32 attempts for 88 yards with a miserable 2.8 ypc avg. The undefeated teams so far this season are Buffalo, NE, KC, Dallas, GB and the LA Rams. The Patriots are the favorite to go to the SB and win it this season. The chiefs played them in the AFC Championship game last year. The Rams beat Dallas to go on to the SB last year. The upstarts are Buffalo and GB...GB has Aaron Rodgers. No bad teams in the NFL? On the contrary, there are bad teams in the NFL and the NY Jets are currently one of them without LBer CJ Mosley and their starting QB in Darnold. Not to mention that they had 25 players on the week 3 injury report.

The Bills have played three bad teams so far this year! Jets 0-3, Bengals 0-3, Giants 1-2. Yet squeaking by, almost lost to NY, almost lost to Cincy. The Patriots have been DESTROYING bad teams, Pitt 33-3, Miami 43-0, Jets 30-14. their point differential is 106-17 ! The Bills have made many, many mistakes so far this season and even if they play a perfect game I gotta wonder if they have enough offense to compete? NOW, having said that, I also wonder...should the Bills beat the Patriots...will the goal posts be untouched at the end of the game?

Over the years I've complained about the coaching staffs / regimes right after they made serious blunders only to hear Bills fans defend them...and keep defending them right up until they were fired! Some Bills fans defending pseudo GM Russ Brandon like they were getting paid to do so. The man in charge of marketing for the Buffalo Bills in the Bills cut room on the phone to players...yea sure...he isn't involved in the football side of the org. Lately, though, I've been defending McD and this regime and I find have no understandable, logical reason as to why Bills fans are complaining. Yes, Beane and McD have made some bad moves, but they corrected them fairly quickly. None as bad and being desperate for a LT and drafting a "waterbug" RB or using two firsts and a fourth on a receiver when you don't have a franchise QB. Drafting a safety because of a need over a superstar at DT. Moving up in the draft for QB's, DTs and other bums. Drafting a PX 90 one year college wonder at LBer over three other LBers that would go on to be all pros drafted later in that same draft. Giving away or trading away all pro players because they might be too expensive...when you have no cap room despite not having a 25+ mill per QB on the roster. It all starts at the top when you have morons running a team...then mostly nothing works. 20 years of dysfunction ! Stating that, Bills fans should be rejoicing now that they finally have owners and people at the top of the football side that actually know what they are doing.

On another note, I can recall posting in thread after thread before the draft that Allen was the object of being on a bad team at Wyoming where he had no solid players around him on offense. Basically, exactly what he had in his first season in Buffalo with a bad line, lousy receivers and no run game. Actually, everyone that had touched the ball on offense at Wyoming with Allen in 2016 was gone for 2017 and he was forced to play with first year players learning their jobs. Sadly, though, not many Bills fans were buying it because of his supposed bad accuracy stats at Wyoming. Never mind the fact that Allen didn't throw a lot short passes, bubble screens like Rosen, Mayfield and Darnold did in College that helped their stats and completion percentage. Allen was in a pro style passing scheme with a lot of deep throws at Wyoming. It wasn't just his big arm, physical traits either. It was also his rah rah, never give up attitude in which he basically carried his team to winning seasons and bowl games.(something that Rosen did not do) In my view, anybody that really deeply researched Allen loved what he brought to the game. Allen, from his being a 180 lb skinny kid who was forced to attend a junior college his first year because nobody wanted him. Allen sent out over 1000 emails to colleges asking for a scholarship only to find two colleges in the entire country to invite him for an interview . Then one rescinded the offer once they found out he was interviewing with Wyoming. Like I said, Rosen was on a bad team in 2018 just like Josh Allen and which one rose from the ashes? Rosen could have worked to advance his craft at Arizona and instead the team that drafted him chose to jettison him. In my view, Rosen is an entitled brat who deserves the Dolphins. I stand by what I stated, that the majority of this board hated Allen before the draft and were very upset that the Bills passed on Rosen to draft Allen. I'm just happy the Bills GM, scouts knew what they were doing. Beane rules!

Actually it was more like 95% of the board because I can count on one hand the number of posters who were behind drafting Josh Allen before the draft and the majority of this board wanted the Bills to trade up to the #2 spot with the NY Giants to draft Josh Rosen. Some were even touting the Bills give up the 2018 farm and their 2019 first round pick too. The only posters I can recall wanting to draft Allen before the draft were theBandit27, metzelaars_lives, myself and perhaps two others who's names I can't recall. YoloinOhio was touting Rosen so often that he stated he was "gut punched" when the Bills drafted Allen. This board was filled with Bills fans complaining about the Bills drafting Allen. One well known poster noted for his NFL player acumen stated that he had Allen as a third round draft pick because of his accuracy. Looking at the sarcasm I suspect you were one of those who hated the Allen pick and are simply in denial now.

I don't feel bad for the guy at all! He was born with a silver spoon as his family is rich. He was given every chance to succeed in college and yet he wasn't a winner. His teammates couldn't stand him as he was an arrogant prick. Hot tub in his dorm room... Look at the team Josh Allen was on last season and he made the best of it and came out better for it. If Rosen is worth anything he will take any opportunity to play to develop his craft. Yeah, he will probably have a new HC next season in Miami and perhaps it will be an offensive mind. If he lives that long Just remember that 90% of this board wanted to draft Rosen and hated the Allen pick...what about now!

it almost makes me wonder if they are doing/showing just enough to win the game and haven't unleashed the entire arsenal just yet? After all they do have the Patriots coming to Buffalo after the Bengals. Anyone checked the ticket prices for that Patriots game yet...looking to be sky high and tough to get. On a side note, I just can't help hoping the the Bills wreck Brady or at the very least win this one. Obviously, destroying Marsha and winning the game would be the ultimate

Whats funny is that 90% of this board hated the Allen pick because he had supposed accuracy issues and so many stated that accuracy can't be fixed. They kept bringing up guys like Kyle Boller as proof that they can't succeed. Anyway, I'm just happy to see him developing so quickly and he is looking like that franchise QB Bills fans have been dreaming about since Kelly.

i agree. If the Bills offense plays in the first half like they did last week its gonna be a loooong game. Barkley will be one of the very toughest RB's they face this season and if he gets going... again it will be a loooong game. Granted the Giants secondary was putrid and played poorly last week. That was last week and perhaps their secondary actually learns to communicate this week. Nothing is a given and on any given Sunday anything can happen. Buffalo is a 2.5 favorite and just like most of the world picked the Panthers to beat the Bucs in Carolina on Thursday... I highly doubt Buffalo will rattle Eli and the replace him this game.

A+ he got the "comeback" win! As bad as he played his performance was better than the #1 overall, the #3, the #10 picks at QB. That last one was Josh Rosen who most of this board wanted the Bills to draft! Josh Rosen replaced Fitzpatrick to cheers late in the third quarter and went 1 for 3 for 5 yards with one interception. Granted that Lamar Jackson kid picked at 32 had the best day by far but that was against the tanking Dolphins.

This is what Daboll did all last year when the team was behind in points...only he called for deeper passes with a much worse offensive line. It was a win and a comeback for Allen! Despite all the bad that happened the team managed a win...I'll take it!

This really, really sucks...however. The Patriots are a very disciplined team and demand their players to be disciplined. So, this makes me wonder if this was all staged by Brown or will he screw this up and not get a ring?

What NFL team is going to sign this drama king? If he doesn't get the ball as much as he thinks he should be getting it...he'll make a video and complain. No smart team is going to touch this

We can revisit this thread after week one if the current RB's can't get it done. Gore is a pounder. Singletary is elusive but slow at 4.66 as he is only .4 tenths faster then Ed Oliver at DT. Yeldon, will he fumble? Can't complain about the O line this year, it's either the offensive play calls, the RB's or everything works.

Is Beane a GOD? He has done well with some things and not so well with others. All glory is fleeting... if this McCoy move to Singletary doesn't work out...Bills fans will be saying GOD with his name.

Bills coaches told Lynch to hit the hole faster...like there was a hole that lasted more than a split second most of the time. I can recall the guy making his yards in Buffalo carrying two defenders on him. Freddy Jackson was more elusive and usually made that first guy miss. Spiller looked to be most effective getting the hand off in a spread 5 wide shotgun set with the defense thinking pass. The Buffalo Bills haven't had a complete offensive line since the 90's and even then that line didn't rival the Bills lines of the Champion years of the 60's. Even perhaps OJ's, Electric Company lines were pretty darn good. Going back to the topic at hand I gotta think last years offensive line had to be one of the worst ever in Buffalo history, and man they have had some bad lines!! This preseason the Bills still haven't fielded a line as good as what we should see opening day...and yet I don't see the new kid coming even close to what McCoy has done previous to last season. But hey, perhaps that's just me!

Look at the RB's the Bills have moved on from ...Antowain Smith went from Buffalo to NE where he won a SB. Marshawn Lynch went from Buffalo to Seattle where he won a SB. McGahee went on to Baltimore and Denver and to the playoffs with both teams. Like I said, I really, really hope this works out...or McD/Beane might be looking at a new offensive coaching staff next year. Maybe even a new HC. I like McD, but man, Peterman and now this.
