  1. 11 of 32 for 86 passing yards, 4 ints... 5 turnovers... The Patriots play the 2-4 Browns next and then the only team that has a real chance to beat them @ Baltimore! On Nov 3rd. Dallas, Houston, KC and Buffalo have a solid shot too. On a side note the Patriots play the Cowboys at home the week before the Bills play them.
  2. After 6 games the 2019 buffalo Bills are 12th worst in the NFL in penalties. 1975 plays, 51 against for 412 yards...57 flags! This means there are 20 teams better at not inducing a flag. 8.5 penalties a game is piss poor discipline. I realize that this is a relatively new group of O linemen. But this stuff can't happen against good teams or they will dig themselves a huge hole. Granted, the Bills don't play a team with a winning record until the Cowboys game 11/28. With the defense as good as it is this team should be blowing out scrub teams like they face in the next five games. With two weeks to prepare this Dolphins game was almost an embarrassing loss save for the defense getting 2x turnovers in the second half and special teams scoring a TD. The offense must fix the penalties, the late incoming play calls. The Bills fans were booing the Bills off the field in the first half for a real reason.
  3. The Bills won...and yet 9 penalties for 83 yards. ToP Miami 33:31 vs Buffalo 26:29. First downs Miami Passing 13, Buffalo 10. First downs rushing Miami 8, Buffalo 5. Total yards Mami 381, Buffalo 305. I wonder the difference if Christian Wilkens doesn't throw that punch... Those penalties remind me of a Rex Ryan team and simply shouldn't be happening on a well disciplined team. In my view the Bills are so much better than how they played against Miami. I hope they play better against the Eagles.
  4. Posted before the draft too. From April 19th 2018.
  5. That's hilarious if its him... If the Panthers don't want him anymore I'll bet a half a dozen teams would.
  6. His last year as a 49er he went 1-10 in 2016 with a QBR of 49.5. Blane Gabbert went 1-4 and had a better QBR. If anyone thought he was worth a damn he would be playing, JMO
  7. "Rosen had been terrible all day, completing 15 of 25 passes for just 85 yards, throwing two interceptions and getting sacked five times. And Fitzpatrick promptly marched the Dolphins down the field for a touchdown. So you could certainly say Flores made the right call. But benching Rosen just after anointing him the undisputed starter makes the Dolphins look incompetent." https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/10/13/dolphins-bench-josh-rosen-for-ryan-fitzpatrick/ The Dolphins getting beaten by the 0-5 Redskins Point differential Wash, 73-151. Hilarity ensues...
  8. the guy runs like 2 routes... The Bills have deep threats in John Brown who ran a 4:34 and he runs all the routes. Foster runs a 4:41 and when healthy he will be back in the lineup. Ford was projected a first round pick and he has been needed on the line. Where he ends up will be up to him but great OGs are so underrated by everyone.
  9. The guy need 300 targets to catch 100 receptions and the Bills just aren't throwing to him that often. Darn shame too as he looked like from College he could be another Jerry Rice.
  10. Yea, its no big deal about the way the Colts beat the 4-0 Chiefs the way they did. Wonder why the other four teams weren't able to do that? Come to think of it, I also wonder why the Chiefs made it to 12-4 last season and the AFC Championship game.
  11. Perhaps not SB contenders at this moment! However, the Colts just gave the world a blueprint on how to beat a high powered offense like the Chiefs. Offensive guard Quenton Nelson gave a clinic on how to run block and RB Marlon Mack took full advantage of it. The Colts by controlling the clock with the run game held the ball for 37:15 vs 22:45.
  12. Zay Jones had a 38.9 catch percentage so far this season, which means he caught less the half the passes thrown his way. You can't waste so many offensive opportunities. So, go ahead and blame Josh Allen and his accuracy issues...until you see that Duke Williams had 4 passes thrown his way and caught all four. One for a TD! Jones was productive last season with 102 targets, 56 receptions for a 54.9 percentage, 7 TDs. While being Allen's main target. Still, his alligator arms and inability to fight for a contested ball is what caused the fan scorn. Someone mentioned that Jones had 158 receptions for 1746 yards in his senior year at East Carolina which is pretty spectacular. So I can understand why the Bills drafted him with a second round pick. Sometimes those gaudy stats simply don't translate to the NFL. Perry Tuttle anyone?
  13. Is doing backflips while saying "I told you so"! This is actually almost as good as getting a third for you know who!
  14. The man has made some mistake and was rather quick to correct them. But, Beane has made some great moves with first and foremost finding QB Josh Allen who is looking like the best QB in that draft. Building a decent O line ranked among the top in the league this season. I mean how does the line lose a few players in a game and end it with several first downs by running to close out the game... one word, depth! I got a kick out of some of the nay sayers in the off season who were whining about this regime and how soon they will all be fired. They know who they are. 4-1
  15. The defense, Josh Allen, Gore, Duke, O line, it goes on! The entire team came together and played well. Daboll called a brilliant game IMO.
  16. I dunno, probably because after he came back from his injury last season after he missed a few games he looked far more focused and calmer in the pocket. This season, I wouldn't say he has regressed. I would say he doesn't look as sharp as he did in the latter part of last season.
  17. I was kinda hoping they would rest him this week so he would have that extra week to rest. But then again I can understand the desire to have the best in there to win this one. That Titan defense is no joke #4 in points allowed. And that Henry is 6'3'' 247 lb RB is no joke either. Let's hope the Bills crushem!
  18. Good to hear as I was hoping we would see him at some point. Hopefully he can catch better than Mr Jones.
  19. I gotta say I'm starting to think that the only reason Zay Jones is still in there is because he was a second round pick. Not sure whats going on with Robert Foster but either play him or put him on IR and bring up Duke!
  20. Thank you for this post. John Brown has stated that this is the most complex offense he has been involved with! Considering this, now go back and look at how Matt Barkley played coming in for Allen...sacked, intercepted, delay of game, 2 false starts. QB rate of 56.0 all in less then a quarter of football. Its looks to me like Daboll wants everyone to see how he runs that Patriots playbook regardless of who his QB is behind center. Yes, the offense looks like a mess with the play calls being late causing the offense to take time outs or when they run out of time outs they take a delay of game. Players not being best utilized. Why not more Dawson Knox in the pass game. Why not run Frank Gore more often from the start against the Patriots. All this reminds me of how Rex Ryan ran his defense despite the fact that the player personnel on the roster was not a fit for his scheme. I also think that this OC does not know how to properly develop a young player. Going back to the fact that the team thought Nathan Peterman should start the 2018 season I have to question his overall offensive knowledge. The difference between Daboll and Hackett, one has the Patriots playbook...
  21. I agree with this. Like I said, lets see what happens with Barkley in there. Cole Beasley came from Dallas with a 74.7 catch percentage with was best for their WRs. In Buffalo he is at 66.7%. Still, 38.9 for Zay is bad at less then half his targets. Last year with him being the main target he still barely caught more then half his targets. Meanwhile McCoy was 73.9
  22. I think Josh will take this to heart as Brett Favre is his hero.
  23. Cole Beasley 36 targets, 24 receptions 66.7 catch percentage John Brown 34 targets, 23 receptions 67.6 catch percentage Zay Jones 18 targets, 7 receptions 38.9 catch percentage---This is Kelvin Benjamin territory who last season was 37.1 before being cut. Let's see if this changes with Matt Barkley in there this week as Zay Jones led the team in targets last season with 102 targets, 56 receptions 54.9 catch percentage. I don't know whats going on with Robert Foster but either put him on IR or play him. Put Zay on IR and bring up Duke Williams who might be slower but he is taller and will fight for those contested balls. JMHO
  24. This!!! I gotta wonder how long it will take to bring in a WR that will actually not only catch everything thrown his way but also catch the contested ball.
