  1. I agree. In 2019 the 49ers had a dominating run game, they were #2 in attempts, #2 in rush yards, #1 in rush TDs. In the first round of the playoffs beating Minnesota 27-10. Rushing 47 times for 186 2 TDs. Jimmy G, 11 of 19 for 131, 1 TD, 1 INT. Beating Green Bay 37-20 in the playoffs by rushing 42 of 285, 4TDs. Meanwhile...Jimmy G went 6 of 8 for 77 yards. Then ran into the Chiefs in the super bowl where they lost 31-20. The run game not as good in this game only rushing 22 times for 141, 1 TD. Although Jimmy G threw 31 times in this game he just couldn't get it done against that defense. 20 of 31 for 219 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT. A better QB would have won that SB. This and injuries are probably why the 49ers went after a new QB. JMO That AFC North is a tough division and the 2020 Steelers had a +104 point differential. The Ravens had a +165 point differential. The Browns had a -11 point differential. In my view they played a rather weak 2020 schedule. The Browns Ranking 31st in strength of schedule 2020 http://powerrankingsguru.com/nfl/strength-of-schedule.php I'll stand by what I said in that Cleveland doesn't make the playoffs in 2021 unless Mayfield hits another level.
  2. Oh I dunno as there were two DBs in this years draft...does one look anything like Donte Whitner? Anyway, I as much as I like Groot and Boogie while doubling up on two pass rushers 1 & 2. I literally man-love that 3rd round giant of a man in OT Spencer Brown who ran a 3 cone better than some DB's!! The crusher of hapless tables! Add to that in the 5th round, another Giant OT in Tommy Doyle with both men 6'8'' 300lbs plus. And finally in the 7th, OL Jack Anderson who could eventually convert to center.
  3. 2021 Browns schedule besides Steelers 2x, Ravens 2x, Bengals 2x. Cardinals-@Patriots-@Vikings-@Chargers-@Chiefs-@Packers-Texans-Lions-Bears-Raiders-Broncos. Cleveland has the #9th toughest schedule in 2021. https://fbschedules.com/cleveland-browns-schedule/ Unless Baker Mayfield hits another level I don't see Cleveland making the playoffs in 2021. JMO
  4. I get that, although Groot isn't eight feet away. He is standing right next to them or in McD's case directly in front of him. Perspective is not the question here. Look at the two pictures https://www.buffalobills.com/photos/gregory-rousseau-arrives-at-one-bills-drive#7a8d2fda-d4d7-41b8-93bf-27a39b4ffa68 Looks photo shopped to me.JMO
  5. Power ranking by the NFL network has the Bills at #3 and the Brownies at #6! #1 Bucs, Chiefs, Bills, Packers, Baltimore, Cleveland, Rams, Seahawks, 49ers, Saints, Steelers, Titans, Colts, Dolphins, Chargers. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-power-rankings-bears-49ers-on-the-rise-after-2021-draft
  6. I agree. If you look at the photo 25 of 26 when Groot arrived at OBD with McD, Beane, the Pegula's. In the first photo both McD and Beane's head is equal to a bit lower than his collar. Now look at #24 to see they are both equal to the back of his collar at least 5''-6'' difference. Clearly photo shopped da GROOT!
  7. While so many think the Cleveland Browns are better than the Bills need to look at Josh Allen as the #5 passer in 2020 and Bake Mayfield at #18! Yea, right behind Teddy Bridgewater...Goff was #14...Rivers was #10. Cleveland was the #3 rushing team in the NFL with Chubb as their leading rusher behind the Titans and Ravens with a 4.8 YPC avg. This Browns rushing offense helped Mayfield immensely! Conversely, the Browns were #24 in passing yards in 2020 while the Bills were 3rd behind KC, TB. Buffalo fielded the #14 overall defense in 2020, Cleveland finished #17. The Buffalo Bills don't play the Browns during the 2021 regular season. Falcons-Panthers-Texans-Colts-Steelers-HOME Jaguars-Saints-Tampa Bay-Titans-Chiefs-ROAD As I see it, the Chiefs defense was exposed during the super bowl for so much holding that they got away with against the Buffalo Bills in that AFC Championship game! Tony Romo calling it a "Sticky defense"! While the Bills receivers were playing somewhat injured in that game. It was more of the holding on defense and offense that KC got away with that the Refs simply didn't allow in that Super Bowl. It's going to interesting to see how things play out for the 2021 season. The Jets gotta be better than 32nd in passing with a better line, run game to go along with that Rookie QB. The Patriots were the #1 defense in 2019 and they will be getting those 8 players back who opted out for the 2020 season. They improved in 2021 simply by having a full off season to get ready. They got their future QB in the first round who has to be better than Can Newton was or is... The Dolphins will have a full off season for Tua to get ready for 2021. Their defense was very good last year and their offense might just catch up with Waddle at WR. One thing I'm very grateful about is that Deshaun Watson is not a QB in the AFC East and may not even be viable in 2021 until his lawsuits are settled. The Bills have the 23rd strength of schedule. KC has 11th. Cleveland has the 9th. \ https://eatdrinkandsleepfootball.com/schedule/strength-of-schedule.html
  8. While all opponents got better in the AFC East! So did the AFC, North, South, West. The 11-5 Browns won't have a cakewalk through the Steelers 12-4, Ravens 11-5, Bengals. Kansas City won't have a cakewalk through the Chargers, Raiders, Broncos. The Titans and Colts both finished 11-5 in 2020 and the Jaguars just got a whole lot better. NVM the Texans though in the AFC South. It's a different year with less Covid and many teams improved. The Chargers and Raiders could knock the Chiefs off their proverbial throne. Frankly, I'm more concerned about the Colts with Carson Wentz then Cleveland...after all, it is the Cleveland Browns. Also, the Chargers with Herbert. JMO
  9. Dunno about the rest of you guys but I really, really, really enjoyed watching Patrick Mahomes running for his life all game long in that super bowl!! The Bills FO must have enjoyed it also as they went after two huge pass rushers with the first two picks. It might not work right away as these new players need some growth and development. I'm very excited to see what 2021 brings. The height factor must be included in these selections as Mahomes 6'3'', Zach Wilson 6'3'', Tua Tugovailoa 6'0'' now need to pass over these here mountains! Let's face it, that this 2020 Buffalo Bills team just went 13-3 and was one miracle hail-Mary play away from a 14-2 season. That would have set a franchise record for best season ever! Most of the current players are good enough to get them back to where they were last season. So, signing all the players from last season made sense to keep things going. Time will tell...I think this FO got it right in the draft, free agency. Plus, undrafted players and free agency are still open. Zach Ertz anyone?
  10. NFL network's Daniel Jeremiah said he had Rousseau as his best edge rusher and stated he would have been a top 15 pick with a better pro day. He stated he didn't get why others didn't have this kid rated higher. The guy opted out for the 2020 season as his mother was a nurse and he was supporting her or otherwise I think he would have been in much better shape for that pro day. Charles Davis hit it with a lot of picks in his final mock draft and had Buffalo taking Rousseau at 30. https://www.nfl.com/news/charles-davis-2021-nfl-mock-draft-2-0-ja-marr-chase-reunites-with-joe-burrow-in- Anyway, I look at Gregory Rousseau and see an inexperienced Mario Williams type who had he played in 2020 he would have been a top 10 pick or higher. Now it's up to Buffalo to develop this kid into that top pass rusher they desperately needed. JMO
  11. When you look back at the Patriots drafting of QBs over the last 25 years the only guy they really hit a home run with was Brady...a 6th round miracle that nobody saw coming. Now granted, they haven't needed to draft a QB and yet they still did at times. Like someone else mentioned, Jimmy G is the best they drafted and he will be replaced by Trey Lance in SF. The one thing we can all understand is that the Patriots will build such a good supporting cast around a QB... that a guy like Matt Cassel who was never a starter in College still managed to take NE to 10-5 when Brady went down for the season. The NE defense will be top 10 to 5. The offense will be stacked with talent enough to win ten games most seasons. Hence why the Bills are drafting for defense in 2021. Both QB's could easily bust and the Jets haven't found a good QB in forever! Not sold on Wilson until they build an offense around him, run game, O line, receivers.
  12. Not a bad move considering the Bills needed pass rush, run stopping power.
  13. Number two in sacks in 2019 behind only Chase Young! His pro day hurt him a bit. A somewhat project that needs to get in better shape and I'm sure he will in Buffalo, no question. I like the pick too. EDIT-The kid would have been a top 15 pick this draft with a better pro day. For some reason this kid reminds me of a Mario Williams.
  14. Relax if ya don't like the pick... this FO knows what they are doing!! 6'7'' 265 who opted out last year which caused his stock to drop. 15 sacks in 2019
  15. Bills biggest need was a pass rusher.
  16. They look awful happy considering Etienne is gone
  17. Ahh, Stokes big, tall, fast a guy who could cover Tyreek Hill.
  18. So much talent still there, edge, DB, O line. who will they pick?
  19. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah ND LBer who has been sitting there forever
  20. starting to get nervous, dunno why tho
