  1. What are you talking about? Beane traded away RB Moss to a guy who ran back two kickoffs for two TD's in one game. Look again at this years draft class. Coaching lost this game, one is a rookie play caller. The only thing I have to say about the coaching staff. The 49ers showed Buffalo how to beat the Dolphins and yet almost lost to the 3rd string backup QB because they have to do things their way.
  2. Another year? Are you serious? 14-4 in 2022! You don't remember what it was like being a Buffalo fan previous to McD, Beane? These are the best two since Marv and Polian. Let's not forget that those Bills were horrid previous to being hired and thus were able to draft HoFers Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly among others. Also, as good at that K-gun offense was, they ran the ball with Thurman more then they passed most of those glory years. This game showed the flaws, lousy Bflo O line and hardly any run game...Josh Allen the leading rusher...again! Allen trying to press all game. (Bills D line got no pressure despite 3 lost starters.) Allen only sacked once and yet hit 8 times and countless pressures. Lastly, OC Ken Dorsey is a rookie this year. Recall what Daboll looked like his first season in Buffalo?
  3. I also hope so! There has only been one perfect team the entire history of the NFL, 72 Dolphins. The 85 Bears lost to Miami in that season. The 2000 Ravens lost to Miami, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Washington. This season the 49ers also lost to crappy Atlanta & Denver, also KC. It's not what teams do at the start of the season...it's how it ends! Anyway, look how the goat QB ended his season. No matter how great a QB is...they need a strong supporting cast. Buffalo needs a strong run game, no question.
  4. It's a team game and both lines were manhandled... Josh Allen the leading rusher...again!
  5. This! The crying and whining from Bills fans is almost getting to biblical proportions. Overreactions while not thinking clearly. They seem to forget WRex Ryan, Doug Maroon, Chan Gaily, Skeletor and so many others since Marv...so many coaches, QBs, draft picks...and top ten draft picks that went nowhere! 20 years man, 20 years! Alas, there is a real reason as to why Daboll is now a HC and Frazier is not. Did he even get any interviews? Coaching does matter! OTOH, the Bills have a rookie OC. Can anyone recall how Daboll looked his first season in Buffalo? Lastly, I look at the 49ers with envious eyes...their run game, defense that help a rookie QB look so good.
  6. As much as I would love the Buffalo Bills to field the NFLs best offensive line. Having Josh Allen at QB has proven that hasn't been a necessity. I even dislike mentioning it...however, age, injuries often catch up with all elite athletes...eventually. I agree that the Buffalo Bills should be building the very best offensive line this offseason just to prepare for that eventuality. Build that run game to control the game/clock...which will simply allow Josh Allen to be more dominant with the passing game. Last season's playoff push has shown what Josh Allen can do when given time in the pocket to throw...unstoppable! It was that "prevent" defense that killed them in KC. Balance though...Defense does win Championships. Of the 110 teams to reach the SB, 88 of them fielded a top 10 in scoring. Of the 55 SB champs, 48 had a top 10 scoring defense.
  7. Surprising how many Buffalo receivers can't catch from such a noodle armed QB... Yet, Buffalo #1 with 25, Miami #2 with 25, Tampa Bay with 25. Green Bay with 25, Jacksonville with 24. WHAT! The KC Chiefs with 23 drops! http://hosted.stats.com/fb/tmleaders.asp?type=Receiving&range=NFL&rank=232 * Gabe Davis, 71 targets, 38 rec. a 53.5 catch percentage. Both Diggs, Davis have dropped 6 passes each this season
  8. Good stuff! I'm thinking that the Bills took a long hard look at that 3rd down production against the NY Jets...2-13! Buffalo had only 11 first downs all game and 3 came from penalties. Josh Allen passing, 16 of 27 for 130 yards all game? Not the first quarter, not the first half? 130 yards the entire game! And some fans complaining about bringing back Bease, Mr. first down...
  9. 47.1% catch percentage vs 73.2%?
  10. Let's face it...the guy was getting beaten down every game. He would find a way to get open, catch the ball and get pounded for it. Should be fresh and ready to go if he kept in shape. Bease with a 73.2% catch percentage in 2021. The only one better ATM is Knox at 74%. Shakir is at 47.1, Gabe Davis 53.5%.
  11. Good news if true! Bills offense needs that first down maker!
  12. This game makes me so very nervous... The smelly fish actually have an offense that can put up some points...when working. Meanwhile, the Bills offense has fallen into a doldrums pit as of late. Dropped passes, missed throws, missed blocks, penalties. Still, Buffalo is on a 4 game win streak and would very much like to see that at 5...along with a playoff berth.
  13. This! As I said earlier, My take is something is up with Josh Allen. Just not sure what, ribs, elbow, arm? Normally Josh doesn't miss a throws like those. It could be the weather, slippery ball? That one errant first throw could have changed the entire complexation of the game. Something is up with Gabe Davis also... they bring in John* Brown and throw only once to him and only one throw to Skakir too. Strange stuff, a lot of third and long and only went 2 of 13 on third down conversions. Good thing the Buffalo defense stepped up like they did! Let's hope the Bills get their shi ,stuff together going forward!
  14. This! Buffalo beat a very tough Detroit team and the Vikings didn't! The Buffalo offense is doing just enough to win the game. The Bills defense is playing well. Those hits on Mike White...whoa! The Jets only sacked Allen 3x, 4x QB hits total. That first game they sacked Josh 5x and hit him 8x. I also question who is injured and still out there playing? Gabe Davis? O line? Allen?
  15. My take is something is off with Josh Allen, his elbow, his arm...something. AND, he was pressing at times while attempting to do far to much on his own. Too many turnovers in those losses! The offense has settled into a "lets help Josh" mentality. 24 rush attempts vs 27 pass attempts. Josh final game stats, 16 of 27 for 147, 1 TD is what we were used to seeing in the first quarter in the early games this season. Yet, Josh is still sorta playing hero as he was the leading rusher, 10 for 47, 1 TD. Although, Singletary was 8 for 39, a 4.9 AVG. Time of Possession, Jets 34:25 vs Bills 25:35. 2 turnovers were the difference. Fugly win, but a win nonetheless. Opposing teams have figured out how to defend the Bills offense (aside for Diggs, who is unmatched) This falls on the rookie OC, who is learning as he goes. Look how long it took Daboll to get that offense clicking like he did at the end of last season. Anyone else recall how bad the Buffalo offense looked against the Jaguars in 2021? That Buffalo defense played "lights out" and really carried this game IMO. Current Stats, Buffalo offense, #4 in points scored, #2 in yards. Buffalo defense, #2 in points allowed, #9 in yards allowed. Getting healthy finally too. Let's hope Dorsey is saving something for the playoffs or perhaps for this Miami game.
  16. This win over the smelly fish is the shiz nit!!!!!!
  17. Most Bills fans want to see the Buffalo offense playing like the early 2022 Buffalo Bills that beat the SB Champs 31-10 or beat the last seasons AFC top seed team Titans, 41-7. Currently, Buffalo is taking what the opposing offense gives them and playing tough, smart more conservative football. Less turnovers! The Buffalo defense has been hammered with injuries all season long too. The Bills still play Miami, @ Chicago, @ Cincy and NE. That #1 seed is still up in the air... so Bills fans have a right to feel nervous. The Chargers beating the smelly fish tonight would help alleviate some of that nervousness! Go Bills!

" Nihilarian Community Member 5.9k Posted April 25, 2018 "I wouldn't Rosen might be the slickest QB in the draft but there are real reasons why he would fall in the draft. Unlike Arron Rodgers, I highly doubt this kid even plays a full season...ever! Listen to what Mayock said, as Allen has the best arm talent in the draft, football IQ like Carson Wentz and if he can get over some hurdles he could be special. There are real reasons as to why Mayock ranks him as his #2 QB in this year's draft. Once it's all said and done and if given time to develop with good coaching Josh Allen will be the best QB/player in this years draft class."

  20. Catbird seat...love it!
  21. My take is the Buffalo offense ran the ball much more with Cooks, Singletary and that took so much pressure off the QB to carry the team. But yea, resting and practice did wonders for the team going forward. They won without Dawkins and Von! The defense looked amazing with Edmunds and Tre back. Stopping that vaunted Patriots run game with holding Stevenson down like they did was also great. It took a missed tackle and trick play to get a NE TD. Funny, Jones was smoked the remainder of the night. His nickname should be "toast".
  22. To a point. We should see after this game tonight as the team did have some time to actually practice a bit. First off, defense wins championships... no question! Then, looking back at the playoffs last season the Bills line held their own all the way up to those god-awful 13 seconds. In which the Bills in a "prevent defense" lost that game for them. Everyone but the line players were 15 yards off the LoS. The Bills have a new play caller who is learning as he goes. Think back to 2018 and what was Daboll like? Peterman over Allen, really? Everyone complaining about the offense needs to realize the 2022 Buffalo Bills in week 13 have the #2 offense in points scored. #2 offense in yards! Granted that's mostly due to the alien unicorn the Bills have at QB. If anything the offense needs to be more innovative much like Daboll was last season...just run the ball more like they did at the end of last season. My take is the current receiving corps they have is good enough. I am on board with upgrading that offensive line though.
  23. Upon further reflection... these last two weeks have given this Buffalo Bills coaching staff some real challenges. The snowstorm with a home game moved to Detroit, players sick, limited practice time, injuries... Then to travel to Detroit again to play a Thursday game on Thanksgiving while winning two games in five days! Great coaching staff!
  24. Josh Allen won that game... NO QUESTION IMO!!!!!!!!! That last throw with 23 seconds to go into triple coverage was a laser beam to #14 for 36 yards...simply unbelievably amazing! Then, two runs to help them get into field position for the winning FG. Yes, its also a team effort and despite the injuries the Bills found a way to win. Lots of teams go through injuries! AJ Klein = hero! Ed Oliver = stud! Oliver should have gotten the entire turkey, besides the legs that is for Allen, Diggs, T Bass. The innovation in the offensive game plan was very questionable IMO. Perhaps it was due to the limited amount of practice time. We will see against NE.
