  1. I feel most of us Buffalo fans knew that the defense was not Championship caliber and was getting by with turnovers. We watched game after game and there was little or no pressure or sacks on opposing QBs. While the Buffalo offense was good enough the defense just wasn't. Then add injuries to S Taylor Rapp and CB Christian Benford. Buffalo had a rookie starting at Safety. Plus so many Bills fans were overconfident for that Chiefs game and they failed to realize that the Chiefs play up to the talent level in the playoffs. Let's hope Brandon Beane finds some pass rushers and better defensive backs for this year's season. Besides the Bills had a rookie calling the defensive plays. Unlike the Chiefs who have an ex-NFL HC as OC and DC. Not to mention HC Andy Reid. It was a tough task to take on the Chiefs at Arrowhead and yet it came down to 3 points...again!
  2. Name one player on the Buffalo defense that is elite? (besides Matt Milano who is coming off an injury) Buffalo doesn't have a Chris Jones. Rousseau had 8 sacks and that ranks 27th...meaning 27 other players had more sacks. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/player/_/view/defense/season/2024/seasontype/2/table/defensive/sort/sacks/dir/desc The Bills really need a bunch of upgrades on the defensive side. The Bills hands were kind of tied in the FA market because of the 30 million dollar cap hit from Diggs and the team was better off without him. Von Miller returning from an injury wasn't quite the same as he was in his first year in Buffalo. Expect a much better defense this season. Beane the magic man will make things happen. 😊
  3. As badly as most Buffalo Bills fans feel right now I'm pretty certain that the Dolphins, NY Jets, and NE Patriots fans would trade positions in a heartbeat. Yes, it sucks for us fans...now imagine how the players feel about being ONE game short of the Super Bowl. Think of it...this was supposed to be a rebuilding year as we lost Diggs, Gabe Davis, Micha Hyde, and Jordon Poyer. 13-4, Division Champs and all the way to the AFC Championship game...I'll take it. Now that Diggs and his cap hit are history, Von Miller might also be gone. Bills fans should be excited about what's to come, considering that this team only needs a few players to go all the way: CB, S, DT, and EDGE. By the way, I'm boycotting the SB because the league refuses to utilize the proper technology to spot accurate first downs. The fact that this league still uses chains to mark first-downs makes me wonder if it's still the 1940s. In my opinion, the league gave that game to the Chiefs for all the new millions of Swifty fans.
  4. So many Bills fans state that Josh Allen is the needed key in everything to winning. Yet, in 2023 after twelve games the Buffalo Bills were 6-6 and headed to missing the playoffs while falling behind Miami who was 8-3 at the time. It looked like Miami was going to win the division. Look, I love Josh Allen as much as anyone but he needs a team around him. The man so many here wanted to replace... then fired his OC who was feeding Diggs the ball on offense but losing games to the Jets, Jags, Patriots, Bengals, Broncos, and Eagles. With that move, Buffalo went on a 6 game tear to win the division only losing to the KC Chiefs due to an injury-riddled defense. "Only two defensive starters started all 17 games for the Bills -- nickel corner Taron Johnson and middle linebacker Terrel Bernard. But Johnson and Bernard, two of the team's most consistent players, are questionable for Sunday because of injury. The team lost two key starters for the season in Weeks 4 and 5 -- cornerback Tre'Davious White and 2022 first-team All-Pro outside linebacker Matt Milano" https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39337649/buffalo-bills-defensive-injuries-2023-nfl-playoffs-vs-chiefs-2024-outlook The problem was that the Buffalo Bills needed to play perfectly against the Chiefs and battle the referees, too.
  5. It's not the coaches who need to be changed. The Bills DC's first season calling defensive plays was his first full season, and the Buffalo OC's was his first full season calling plays, too. To me, it's amazing how far this team went this season with a bunch of JAGS at WR and no clear #1 like Justin Jefferson, or Ja'Marr Chase. plus, there are a bunch of maybes on defense. I think this coaching staff is only the second best to the Chiefs who have THREE former head coaches running that team. The 2024 Buffalo Bills beat the two best teams in the NFL this year in Detroit AT Detroit and KC in Buffalo. THe Chiefs ONLY loss all year! As I mentioned the Buffalo GM's hands were tied with Diggs being a 30-million dollar cap hit to get rid of that malcontent ball hog...who went invisible each year in the playoffs. Von Miller was a great pickup before his injury and a liability after. What this team needs are better players. GM Brandon Beane did a masterful job with what he had to work with. Some Bills fans need to stop whining about changes that are never gonna happen and focus on what will happen with the draft and free agency.😁
  6. Look, McD is the second best head coach in the NFL, and daydreaming about finding a better replacement is just that...Daydreaming! Look at all the head coaching changes over and over with little success. Gotta have faith that something will happen to that KC team. Kelce retires and all the swifties go with him. Reid, Spags, and Mahomes Can't stay this lucky forever. The Buffalo Bills were a missed FG away from the SB last year and if you rewatch that Kincade drop play you would have seen Shakir wide open...3 points again this year. For a supposed "rebuilding year" Buffalo was supposed to be behind the NY Jets and Miami to go 13-4 along with going to the AFC Championship game is darned awesome. Remember the 30-mill cap hit from Diggs tied up some possible moves. I like Von Miller a lot but alas he might be done. Speaking of Diggs the Bills were supposed to be headed into the toilet after losing their #1 WR.
  7. Buffalo has its very own version of Mark Andrews! I'm pretty sure this kid is in hell right now over what happened...stuff happens! Same crap, different year...the way things ended. The ONLY GD team standing in the Buffalo Bill's way to the SB is one stinking team they can beat during the regular season and Buffalo was the ONLY TEAM to beat the Chiefs this season. This KC team reminds me of the 90's Buffalo Bills where no team could get by them for a few years...except they keep winning! I really, really hate the Kansas City Chiefs! Does anyone care to guess who I'll be rooting for in the SB?
  8. Put on the darn cape... need lady luck AND the football gods on the Bill's side!
  9. He made the right choice for all of the above reasons.
  10. Just think, Brandon Beane built this team up from drafting in the latter rounds each year. He traded up to the #7 spot to draft Josh Allen*...masterfully!
  11. This! I'm so nervous about this game that I simply refuse to watch any NFL media leading up to this Chiefs game. This is my Super Bowl as I dislike the KC Chiefs nearly as much as I cherish the Buffalo Bills. This game will make or break my season.
  12. This!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus, as freaking usual for the last few seasons the defensive injuries have started. Remind me what's killed this team the previous few seasons in the playoffs. OH YEAH, DEFENSIVE INJURIES. At this point, I really don't care if Buffalo wins a Super Bowl; I just want them to get past the much-hatred Kansas City Chiefs. I haven't been able to watch the SB pregame media for years now because I dislike the Chiefs so much. I haven't watched the SB either unless it was the one I reveled in, with the Bucs beating the Chiefs. I have found that my passion for disliking the Chiefs has nearly surpassed my enjoyment when the Buffalo Bills win. I suppose you could say that this Sunday's game is my Super Bowl.
  13. Good stuff, the dysfunction continues. Jerrah is his own worst enemy. I wonder if it galls him that his ex-DC is now with Washington and having more success than his Cowboys have seen in a long long time?
  14. Jaguars Hiring Liam Coen As head Coach After He Reversed Decision on Buccaneers https://www.si.com/nfl/jaguars-hiring-liam-coen-head-coach-buccaneers-offensive-coordinator
  15. Me either! I've seen Andy Reid pull out so many offensive game plans out of his arse to beat other teams that were supposedly better...especially in the playoffs. It's like a tiger that just does enough each hunt to get the kill; when it's tough prey, he just destroys it. Plus, Patrick Mahomes sometimes seems to pull some magic tricks to get it done. And if all that isn't enough they have that defense with "Spags" calling the plays. They are playing at Arrowhead in a playoff game too! So many Bills fans appear to be so confident in a win. I wish I could be one of them.😰 Then you have the Refs 🤢
  16. What gets me is that some Bills fans don't realize that the ONLY NFL HC that's been better than McD over the last five seasons has been KC HC Andy Reid. THE ONLY ONE! Fans thinking that the grass is greener with a different HC are forgetting the nearly two decades of losing this franchise went through along with the seven bad HCs we fans had to endure over that time. Reid with Mahomes is akin to Brady/Belichick in NE for nearly a decade. The KC Chiefs have what has kept the Buffalo Bills from reaching the Super Bowl. The Ravens might have had a slightly better roster this year...but it was the three turnovers that won the game for the Bills. The thing is... the Buffalo coaching staff teaches various ways to strip the ball and they constantly work at doing just that. Lady Luck might have had something to do with the way that ablong spheroid bounced too. It's about time it bounced that way! Lets hope it continues! 😁
  17. Interesting tidbit... The Ravens are the first team in NFL history to... rush for 175+ yards complete 70.0% of their passes average 10.00+ yards per pass convert 70.0% of their 3rd downs have no punts or missed FG https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens-made-unfortunate-nfl-history-during-playoff-loss-to-bills
  18. Da culprit https://www.si.com/nfl/sean-mcdermott-fired-back-baltimore-radio-host-called-buffalo-city-of-losers
  19. I want to thank the Baltimore media jackass who called Buffalo "a city of losers" as it must have gone up on the Bill's bulletin board! It worked to piss off every Buffalo player and motivation to shut that clown the hell up!
  20. Some thoughts. Should Buffalo advance to the Super Bowl I'll finally be able to watch all the pre-game media. The 3rd quarter brain fart by Bills OC Joe Brady might just keep his butt in Buffalo for another season.
  21. Some Bills fans complain about the Buffalo's defense and yet...they played so well in this game despite the lack of sacks. Buffalo led the NFL in turnover ratio +24 and it showed up in this game.
  22. For sure, It was just too conservative. Should have kept the foot on the gas or at least attempted some deeper throws. Gotta hand it to the Ravens though as they really changed things up to stop what Buffalo was doing with the run game.
