I was at a Bills VIkings game with my brother (who was a Vikings fan at the time) in 1982. It was a night game and the Bills won 23-22 to go 2-0. Unfortunately that was the strike year and the Bills didn't even make the playoffs. That was the end of Chuck Knox era in Buffalo. A real shame!

I love the Bills but people regardless of celebrity need to be accountable for their accidents. I speed sometimes but dangerous moves like that should not happen. We have a huge tailgating problem in Ohio where people are in such a hurry to get where they are going they cross double lines to pass. Apparently there is a problem with people passing school buses. Sorry to rant but celebrity shouldn’t be a reason for not obeying traffic laws. Ask Henry Ruggs if he regrets his decision.

Tua has a Charity - Let's Give It A Boost!!!

I just donated but didn't see if there was a way to indicate Bills Mafia. Regardless, my son is a big Dolphins fan from when we lived in Miami in the 80s. Hope Tua is going to be OK. He really seems like a nice guy and was finally getting his act together this year. -
Sorry I'm late to this, but went to supposed Bills Backer bar in Erie to watch Dolphins game as Cincinnati games preempt Buffalo in Ohio. Anyways, the list said a place called the Colony Bar & Grill was a Bills Backers bar. We got there about 11:30 and were surprised the place was kind of dead. We saw another car with a group of Bills fans so went in only to find out they were not as advertised. They told us about another sports bar nearby called Odis 12 and we went there. Turned out it was more like a Buffalo Wild Wings with many games on but at least had a big screen. Turns out it was supposedly a Dolphins bar. Our friends we met at the Colony led by Tracy (a Bills season ticket holder from Buffalo) were in town as one of her friends daughters went to College there. I tested them to come as the bartender at the Colony was rude and they showed up. We cheered loudly in the first half to drown out Dolphin backers, but my wife and I decided to leave at halftime as we were staying at the Courtyard Bayfront and watched the rest of the game there. Sorry for the long story, but I was wondering if there is a real Bills Backers bar in Erie. I'm coming for the Browns game in Buffalo and hope to see Tracy and the gang while we are there.

Hotel options and ride to game
Dave in Avon Lake now replied to Dave in Avon Lake now's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks everyone. Haven't been to a Bills home game in a long time. Should be fun. I'll probably go to nearby bar for food and drink after. Then call Uber. -
I'm coming from Cleveland for Bills Browns game and trying to decide where to stay for access to game. We're going to stay overnight and Hamburg Hampton Inn is one option. Says it is a 10 minute ride but not sure if they offer shuttles. I've read about Uber after the game. Any thoughts on best options to stay?

Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.

Sorry I'm late to this, but was trying to process this since I live in Cleveland and have had to absorb this type of thing since the Browns traded for Watson. What kind of investigation did the Bills do since they drafted him and why did they release their other punter if they knew this was coming? My wife won't watch another Browns game because of Watson and I can't blame her if she does the same about the Bills. I love the team and was hoping this year would finally be their calling. Even if only partially true based on police tape story, they should drop him and find another punter. Bad look for team in any event. -
Welcome to Cleveland. I moved here two years ago from South Carolina and live near the Lake on the west side. Unfortunately, you will be getting those lake affect snow squalls, but it is not as bad as the Nor'easters I used to endure in CT. I would love to travel to Bills games now that I am close but ticket prices have gotten out of my price range as I near retirement. Hope your trip goes well.

Preseason games all blacked out on NFL Network
Dave in Avon Lake now replied to JMM's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know if you contact NFL network or cable company, but while I live in Cleveland area I've been blacked out for both Bills preseason games for A football life. Interestingly my other TVs showed the Colts-Lions game. I have Spectrum but decided I'll just watch the replay tonight on NFL network. Its a mystery to me and apparently others. There are no local broadcasts I can get from here. May look into this NFL + next year. -
Preseason week 2: Broncos at Bills
Dave in Avon Lake now replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m still in a quandary about local market games on NFL Network for preseason. Somehow Cleveland was included as a local market last week and I couldn’t watch the game live. We don’t get Buffalo stations here although I can get WGR radio. Does anyone know another way to get this preseason game since it will be the only one starters will play in? I could have posted as separate topic but figured it’s related to this game. -

But I live in Cleveland. It’s bad enough I have to watch Browns games during season. -

Why is game not on NFL network? They’re showing A football life about Chris Spielman in Cleveland. -
Here in Cleveland, they are excited to announce 20 of the 24 cases against Deshaun have been settled. Non disclosure agreements will be executed and 4 cases are still pending. Do you think the NFL will let him off with a minimal suspension or fine? Browns fans are hungry for this to be over and I guess the NFL is too. One of the cases that didn't settle involves the woman who initially spoke up about this.

Titans got their justice in that SB when Dyson came up "1 yard short"

Just saw Steelers are paying major money $18.4 per year average with 36 million guaranteed for Minkah Fitzpatrick. How does this affect Poyer negotiations? Don't expect Bills to go that large but it certainly hampers negotiations on a new deal.

I guess you have to wonder what Stephon Diggs is thinking with these huge receiver contracts. The yahoo article was pointing out that the big contracts are going to have an effect at some point. I think Bills and Diggs have unfinished business that is keeping players around. Those who don’t remember the salary purge in 1999 that cost us Bruce, Andre & Thurman should be reminded that money always counts. Let’s hope we get that ring before that time comes

I love some of you… but I hate this site right now

I won’t blame coaching for this loss since many decisions made got us to 13 seconds. After several days of sadness for the missed opportunity I think we should look at the fact we had the opportunity. With a QB like Josh and the management team continuing to find opportunities we will be in the mix every year for the foreseeable future. Andy Reid was seen as a loser in Philly after having sucess for more than 10 years. Manning and Colts finally won, Roethlesberger got his, so did Brees and Rodgers. I’ve been following Bills since the 60’s when we won our last championship. I think we are in position to be a great team for a long time. The SB will come and it will feel great! -
Has the NFL season ended for anyone else?
Dave in Avon Lake now replied to billsintaiwan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I probably will watch to see if someone can knock off the Chiefs, but my rooting interest is faint at best. Even though it is still another year to go, I don't want the Chiefs to make 4 superbowls in a row. -
Bengals getting revenge for us
Dave in Avon Lake now replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cincy will get better, but they are not on the Chiefs level. It will be interesting to see if KC plays the Rams in Super Bowl and Rams win in their home stadium. KC deserves to suffer the same fate as last year. -

I can't believe the whole state of Ohio has to watch the Cincinnati/SF game? I'm in Cleveland and much closer to Buffalo.
