Bills re-sign OL Jordan Devey
Blokestradamus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Joe's tweet has been bugging me since I first saw this thread. How do we actually classify someone as a veteran? Is it by age, longevity or by actual on-field experience? Because Devey is definitely old and he's been around the block a few times but he's only started 21 games ever. I wouldn't classify anyone with just over a season of actual on-field experience as a veteran, per se. -
His punt return TD against Kentucky might be my favourite since the Rams tricked Seattle. It's a thing of beauty.

The "Most Likely To" New HC game

The downside to having the same last name as an NFL HC is that all of this feels like a personal attack -
Alabama DT Christian Barmore

If you want to draft what'll likely be a backup 1-tech (for at least one year, maybe two) in the first round, then you're ***** crazy. -
The "Most Likely To" New HC game
Blokestradamus replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Start someone other than his incumbent starting Quarterback* week 1: Urban (with #1 overall pick Zach Wilson) Be a 'one and done' Head Coach: Campbell (primarily because cannibalism is frowned upon) Make the playoffs his first year: Uncle Dave. Win NFL Coach of the Year at some point in his first 3 years: Urban (because it's a bit of a lovey contest and he's a name) Win a Superbowl in the job to which he has just been hired: Sirianni Become Head Coach of the Buffalo Bills at some point in the future: Sirianni (geography, innit) -
Did the Lincoln Project have a casting couch ?
Blokestradamus replied to Teddy KGB's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
His statement definitely looks like, at the very least, he's been an absolute creep. What he's admitted to in that is enough for him to be judged within the court of public opinion. I'm sure most of us have crossed a line before by misreading signals etc. but for more than 20 people to accuse you, you can't really call it a mistake. It's a pattern of behaviour. The biggest issue is with the 14 year old lad. In the messages quoted in the NY Times article "resend me your stats" when he had turned 18 definitely makes it sound like he's asked for them before (and perhaps been given them). That alone is enough to raise an alarm that he was asking for explicit sexual information from a minor. The accusations certainly paint him as a pretty aggressive and persistent person so I can't imagine if he did ask, he only asked the once, even if rebuffed. -

I really would love to keep professing that you're not really a bad guy, you just play one on the internet. I hope you really understand the severity of a number of your posts in this thread. You wouldn't say it to people's faces for fear of getting your jaw broken so don't use the veil of internet protection to act like a coward. I really would like to believe that you're actually better than that away from your keyboard. As disgusting as this story is and as severe as the consequences are for the people that have suffered because of these actions, I find it extremely difficult to watch people that have advocated for Donald Trump thinking that they have any moral high ground whatsoever crowing about the sexual deviancy of others. I don't love falling down the 'whataboutism' hole but a whole slew of inappropriate comments about women didn't put you off that guy. It's hard to buy that you're incredulous now for reasons other than because it's a stick to beat the left with. I don't think anyone here is saying that they don't want John Weaver to be investigated and punished by the law to the highest standard possible if he's done anything that's illegal rather than simply immoral. I'll add my voice to those calling for a deeper look into who within the Lincoln Project knew and when. Accountability is absolutely paramount in these types of situations. -
Adam Gase . . . seduction coach?

Wouldn't shock me if he was behind this game. -
Chad was taken in for a psych evaluation at USC as well because of a violent incident where he was apparently punching walls and resisted arrest when police intervened. Manic episode or not, I don't see how this ends up with anything other than him being jailed for a long time, both to protect himself and others. I liked him as a prospect and had really hoped that the initial incident a few years ago was the wake-up call he needed to find a long-term solution to his mental health issues. He's clearly not stuck with whatever was prescribed for him at that point. I wish her well. The physical wounds will heal but the long-term psychological damage this will cause might not. I hope she can find the treatment that she needs to process this ordeal and move past it as best she can.

I started with QB and O-line so I've only made a few tentative notes on other positions so far. I'll definitely be dropping my stream of draft consciousness around here. I'm actually excited to get into pass rushers this year. I caught some of Joseph Ossai today against OK State and he really stood out.

Taylor Swift, "Folklore/Evermore" Albums

As far as I'm aware, Macho Man is in every single one of his videos in some way, shape, or form. Dude is obsessed. -
I wrote something for BillsWire when they signed him. The article was full of clips that are no longer supported by the site, unfortunately. Without the illustration, I'm not sure it's anything worth looking at, to be honest. It's just a stream of consciousness with little context https://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/03/11/what-bills-fans-should-expect-from-free-agent-acquisition-fb-patrick-dimarco/

RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa
Blokestradamus replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As soon as I saw something about him losing weight, I audibly groaned and hypothesised whether they were trying to turn him into Lorenzo Alexander. Having watched Spencer Johnson executing zone drops all those years ago, I ***** hope not -

I agree that power is his forte. I still don't think it's necessarily a bad idea to alter his body composition to help him get a little more explosive, provided that you can keep his strength up while dropping some of the bad weight. Given all of the issues that have changed the way teams can do things in 2020, maybe things didn't go according to plan. AJ isn't my kind of pass rusher but I recognise his scheme fit. Keeping those violent hands is a must for his future success. -

He definitely lacked explosion in college and a move to maybe trim down 10 pounds of bad weight wasn't the worst idea. Also, are you on first name terms with the GM now? Turning into a proper Jermaine Jenas -
RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa
Blokestradamus replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought that the vast majority of his good plays in college were when he kicked inside. He was a gamechanger every time Iowa needed something. Without even a hint of hyperbole, if he played at DT consistently at that level, my comparison for him was Jonathan Allen. The fact that he's seemed to have lost weight worries me because his strength was the only reason to like him. -
If you wanna feel REAL old...

I graded a draft prospect last week that was born in 2000. I felt dirty.
