Of these guys, those in blue are guys I'd definitely take above Gilmore (Ramsey simply because of the potential to be elite). Those in red are guys that would inspire some debate and warrant further film study to work out exactly where he'd place. Those struck out are in a class below. Best case scenario, he's my 10th CB at this point. Worst case, he's 15th.

Hugh Freeze Resigns as Ole Miss HC
Blokestradamus replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in College Football
I would've put good money on being responsible for Robert Nkemdiche falling out of that hotel room. Nothing sinister, just waving something shiny in front of him. -

He's a guy I definitely hope makes full use of the next 2 years to develop as a passer. After doing some deep study on him, he's a much more accomplished guy in the pocket than I thought he was from watching highlights of him and a couple of live games. He lets a few throws with a low degree of difficulty get away from him and his biggest charting weakness was deep sideline. He's money on post/seam routes down the middle though. Not "all in" just yet but I like the kid. I'd like to see their offense grow with him and have him using his legs a little less. Although, just for my own satisfaction, they really need to keep their inverted veer game intact. It's unstoppable.

Lamar Jackson isn't there yet but check out the TD throw at 7:41 (especially the reverse angle). My lord, it's pretty. http://draftbreakdown.com/2017/07/08/lamar-jackson-vs-north-carolina-state-2016/

Glad Mike Williams Was Off The Board When We Picked
Blokestradamus replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Part of me is wondering if this stems from his neck fracture in any way. I just hope that he's careful with his body because back issues seldom disappear entirely. -
I've never set foot in the US, let alone Buffalo and there's some slander that I won't let slide. When Donte Whitner leaves and immediately (and continually) talks **** about the fanbase, the city and the team, that guy can !@#$ himself with a red hot poker. Stephon dealt with a lot of abuse from Bills fans, as did his wife, and they've not taken any big swings at anyone on the way out. As far as I'm concerned, he's classier than many of those that now consider him the enemy because of a sport.

Bills fans are easy to piss off. I'm an outsider and I know how to push buttons with the natives. In a world where retweets and clicks matter (I know, I've done the blogging thing), Jonah knows how to do that on a larger platform. I know a couple of others that also like to partake in riling up the quick-to-anger brigade in the Mafia. Good on them. Buffalo against the world is a fight that Buffalo wants and the world couldn't give a **** about. It's cute.

He's already had 2 different schemes, he's heading into his 3rd different OC this year. Jedd Fisch should keep most of the pro-style elements but his record isn't exactly a glowing one. Fact of the matter is, Josh has to start getting the simple things down like spotting the blitz, accounting for the free rusher, finding his hot routes. Hopefully Fisch helps him with that.

I really want to like the kid but he's so cavalier with the football, he should be obliged to end up in Cleveland. Ball security in the pocket is a massive issue. Think he's had 3 fumbles and 2 INT's returned for scores in the 10 games I've watched.

Outsized Bills player contracts
Blokestradamus replied to vincec's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Glenn - absolutely solid contract for a top-tier LT. Clay - the structure is absolutely awful and is worse than the dollar amount. Dareus - again, structure issue. Forfeiture of guarantees not being in makes it a bad deal in principle. -
And in the next negotiating window, he'll be a year older with another 300+ touches under his belt. Not a doubt in my mind he's the best RB in the league but he's trying to create a market for himself that's more than 50% above any of his peers. Good luck to him but the Steelers would be mental to give in.

Mark Schofield of Inside The Pylon released the 2nd part of his QB watchlist last week, didn't see it posted. The link to part 1 is in the article. http://insidethepylon.com/nfl/2018-nfl-draft/2017/07/10/mark-schofields-check-july-10-2017-10-senior-qbs-watch/ DeVante Kincade (Grambling St) is included. Another FCS passer that isn't, Richmond's Kyle Lauletta, is another "sleeper" guy to keep an eye on. Lauletta is coming off an ACL injury suffered last season. Both could be potential names for the Senior Bowl watchlist.

Somehow, Bruce Allen has played this situation right and still got it horrifically and horrendously wrong. You don't negotiate in public and you certainly don't try to undress the guy in public like you're a 12 year old girl that just got dumped. There's a pretty obvious reason why Cousins doesn't want to sign in Washington and it's you. Maybe take a look in the mirror first, Bruce.
