  1. Final year of Josh Rosen's rookie deal. All set for success. It checks out
  2. Get a hobby for 2021 because there's going to be a lockout with the CBA negotiations.
  3. Damn, the NFL throwing haymakers at the Players Association.
  4. In this circumstance, the defense hadn't even taken the field to stop you The most important award remains unanswered though - did we win the offseason?
  5. Few minutes into the first episode. Star of the show is already Gerald McCoy's little boy.
  6. I hate you for this. Mainly because I had the exact same thought
  7. From ESPN's Mike Triplett - http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0689463906392870974-4 The Saints have fired team orthopedists Deryk Jones and Misty Suri, per source, after it was discovered that CB Delvin Breaux has a fractured fibula and will require surgery expected to sidelined him for 4-6 weeks. Breaux was originally diagnosed with a contusion – and the team was frustrated that he wasn't recovering more quickly until the missed diagnosis was revealed. It was accurately reported that the team has had an issue with Breaux's string of nagging injuries in the past, but this case is different. And it seems unlikely at this point that the team will be as eager to trade or release Breaux.
  8. I couldn't split Moss and TO. I think Moss was more naturally gifted but they were both incredible to watch. If we're talking about watching in the flesh, it's a tough choice between Allen Robinson and Chris Hogan
  9. I feel for the guy. Insane amount of pressure put on him by the organisation, to the point where every miss was magnified tenfold. I was pretty vehemently not a believer in the hype but I hope he catches on elsewhere. He's a good kid and he can still be NFL calibre if he can get his mind right.
  10. @BobbyBeltTX Another note to remember: Elliott's contract becomes completely non-guaranteed with the announcement of a suspension. I can see it now. Zeke in the 1st, Michael Thomas in the 2nd
  11. 26CB posted the replays on page 1 of the GameDay thread. Another one at 10am Wednesday. That's on NFL Network.
  12. He's in the same bracket as Reggie was. Post-ACL, maybe he's not quite athletic enough to live up to his potential. Worst part about preseason is all the bad news. Bad enough that nearly 1200 guys lose their jobs.
  13. @AdamSchefter NFL investigating Ezekiel Elliott for domestic violence. DV violations are 6 games; can be increased or decreased depending on circumstances
  14. Remmers still punches his wife in bed trying to catch Von Miller.
  15. Falk isn't going to be a 'throw it all over the park' NFL QB like he is for Mike Leach. I love his placement in the short/intermediate areas. Obviously, big adjustment to NFL terminology so he's probably not a Day 1 starter (maybe even Year 1) just from a conceptual standpoint. At the very worst, I'd expect him to have a Ryan Tannehill-type career curve. I like him, I think I'd prefer him in the back half of the 1st. Perceived strength of the class could make that feasible if he has a good senior year.
  16. I found you and Mrs Barbarian. https://twitter.com/JeffSkversky/status/891093617678438402
  17. He had the best preseason I've ever seen. 3rd string Aaron Donald.
  18. Landon Cohen He ended up with the Seahawks. Played 16 snaps in Super Bowl 49.
  19. BB might have a QB curse going on but mine covers all positions. As soon as I profess my love, they either get injured or suspended. Shame for Jack, he's a warrior. I wonder if he applies for a medical redshirt.
  20. Pat Elflein, Jack Tocho, Laquon Treadwell, MORITZ BOEHRINGER!!! Screw that other team
  21. There's a huge difference between charges being dropped and being convicted of the crime and getting off after paying the victim not to appear at the appeal hearing. And Jerry has been laughing off the DV allegations against Zeke, don't go thinking that he's suddenly been shamed into growing a conscience.
  22. I nearly threw up laughing at 3 points along the way. It started with the Richie seal of approval.
  23. As I said earlier, the difference between PFF grades and PFF stats are massive. The grades are laughed at because they don't know the assignments (why it's horrific for OL grades) but the stats are less subjective. Fact of the matter is that more than half of the NFL employs them to provide advanced stats. Those stats are used by teams and agents at the negotiating table (the same way that teams that use other sources or in-house data collection will do.) If you want to add context to the raw numbers, I'm all for it. I beg people to do it on what seems like a weekly basis Scott won't profess to be the authority on anything but I trust his methods. PFF used to hire some proper idiots but their standards have risen as outside investment opened up.
  24. Those that can't distinguish between stats and grades at PFF kill me. Ignore the grades, look at the stats.
  25. His former assistant DB coach Greg Jackson works for Dallas. That landing spot makes total sense.
