Potential 2021 RB - SB streaker
Blokestradamus replied to DaggersEOD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd be embarrassed to be called a streaker while wearing clothes. That said, his contact balance is borderline elite so I'll overlook his flaws. -
I haven't listened to Around The NFL in a while but I was a regular listener around the time that Chris got his initial diagnosis. The sheer amount of love and admiration the wider football community showed him gave you a real idea of the level of esteem that his peers held him in. I only knew him through his knowledge, his wit and his wisdom and it feels like I've lost something of a kindred spirit. I can't imagine the heartbreak that Lakisha, his family and friends feel. Thank you for being so honest while fighting cancer and for sharing your knowledge with people like me.

Kyle does have a RAS profile on Kent's site though. https://relativeathleticscores.com/2020/01/06/kyle-williams-ras-2/ -

I've never seen that before. Is there a laugh version of ugly crying because I did it. -

Can't help but think that he got the wrong end of the stick. Someone mentioned a player to him, he took it as an invite. https://vucommodores.com/roster/anfernee-orji/ -
Mine comes with the broadband deal. Seems quite antiquated but them's the rules. Don't particularly use it but it's a useful backup plan if my phone ever has an issue.

How can you ignore the cinematic masterpieces like Goal! and Escape To Victory? The boundary pushing Bend It Like Beckham? The general cuteness of Air Bud: World Pup? Although I will grant you that The Battered Bastards of Baseball is one of my favourite things I've watched in the past year.

I think the scheme fit is absolutely crucial for a lot of players. The vast majority of players on NFL rosters are limited in some way or another. Finding the optimal fit for the few things they do well can be the difference between relative success and failure. I think the downside to anyone that makes a living out of being a pure gap penetrator is that their aggression works both ways. I don't think it's unique to Justin that he might fall victim to trap blocks because his immediate instinct is to get straight forward. The elite 3-techs have the instincts that go with the aggression and athleticism, the lesser guys maybe don't possess the mental acuity to read their keys consistently. I'd class 70th, 82nd and 84th percentile numbers as above average in the grand scheme of things. The numbers that aren't listed like the 3-cone would round out his profile more towards average. I think we all watched him enough to know that lateral movement was never his forte. -

It might surprise people (I know it did with me) but Chris Kelsay actually tested pretty well, at least in a straight line and explosion drills. https://www.mockdraftable.com/player/chris-kelsay -

I did write something about Justin during his first NFL preseason in Buffalo. As a result of that, I got talking with his dad. I understand why McDermott would think he's a good fit for the locker room, he was raised right. He asked me for an honest opinion and I told him that I felt he made a poor decision to play under Rex. Given that Rex liked to employ a little more of 5-tech with 2-gap responsibilities while Justin is a far more direct player that needs to have a pretty simplified role. I felt he was a decent prospect but stuck in a bad scheme for his immediate development, especially coming from Ferris State. I think it's a testament to his determination that he's been willing to keep at it, moving around on practice squads for a couple of years. Sometimes, it takes a while for it all to click in place for guys when they come from a small school. -

I remember when Kent put his numbers through the RAS process. Multiple people thought there was a typo or two in there. The average 3-cone for off ball LB prospects over the past deacde or so is 7.11. The average weight of those guys is a smidge over 240 pounds. -
2021 Draft & potential Milano replacements?
Blokestradamus replied to Dkollidas's topic in College Football
If you want to wait until 2023 for him, Troy's sophomore LB Jayden McDonald looks like someone that could fit the bill. Smart and athletic, if not a little undersized. I just wanted an excuse to post about him in case he blows up as a prospect -
Peterman signed to extension

Maybe one of his kids used to blast My Chemical Romance around the house and, as a result, Gruden hates everyone that wears eyeliner. -

Gruden really does love every QB known to man. -
I have to admit, I don't know how you talked about baseball and historical significance in the same sentence with a straight face.

Is The Answer @ DE Already On The Team?
Blokestradamus replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ed is built nothing like Myles Garrett though. He's considerably shorter and he's giving up about 3.5 inches in arm length, which is a huge difference when you consider leverage.- 57 replies

Is McDermott aggressive? NFL.com thinks so.

It's all that clapping. -
It's less about when and more about who, as far as I'm concerned. I'm a big believer in having a diverse backfield unless you can find a significant role for the McCaffrey's of this world that transcend the position. Moss in the 3rd round made me sad because while he's pegged as a power back, he's not a particularly good one. You can survive with him in a rotation as long as you've got a little bit of speed to mix things up. Singletary is another solid back but neither of them make defenders fearful of them. With the Bills having a really good passing attack, teams have to honour that. You have a really shifty back that's a reliable receiver and you can add dimensions to the offense that don't really exist outside of a few gimmick plays. You don't have to run the ball too much if you can use quick game throws etc. to act as a psuedo run game.

Elizabeth Hurley ridiculed for showing her jugs

It's still a bit weird but I'll grant you, the son would've been weirder. I hope all those girls doing Onlyfans have got tripods set up and not using their parents. -

I do find it a tad unsettling that her mother is the one taking the pictures. That said, if I ask my dad to take my dick pics for me, I'll get a much better angle. -

In case anyone is wondering, he is the nephew of John David Booty.

Bills re-sign OL Jordan Devey
Blokestradamus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've always found it a bit weird when I've seen players designated as a veteran after a handful of seasons. Maybe coming from a sporting background where there's the likelihood for more longevity and less turnover, I'm more prone to think of someone as a veteran beyond the age of 30 with a ton of playing experience behind them. Then you've got the relatively small sample size of games (16 in the NFL to 38 in the Premier League etc.) It's just not a tag that I'd put on a guy like Devey myself. Mario Addison, Jerry Hughes, Lee Smith, Josh Norman are the guys that I'd consider veteran. There's a little more gravitas to their careers than simply just existing for a period of time. Just my own weird thought process, was curious about how anyone else might look at it.
