  1. 41 D, 13 ST last Sunday. 44 D, 12 ST in Week 2. 25 D, 8 ST in Week 1.
  2. The whole thing was a masterpiece but this was the winner. Way to absolutely miss every point that the protest is about, numb nuts.
  3. Josh Rosen so far via @CFBFilmRoom
  4. I'm not an Alabama fan. I don't support a college team at all. I just appreciate them the same way I do the Patriots (I know you all hate me now). There's something to be said for ruthless efficiency. They're both so organised, nothing is left to chance. I wouldn't want to be friends with Bill Belichick or Nick Saban because I doubt either of them would be to my tastes but I'd love to be coached or mentored by either one.
  5. The organisation went to great lengths to project the idea of unity. Jim threatens to undo all of that with his comments. Regardless of what he's done in the past, he's not being helpful at this point in time by making his feeling public.
  6. A little potential context (read the tweet above first). Kinda clever if he meant it - https://twitter.com/OBJ_3/status/912371928614211586
  7. 12 career catches. Let's calm down on putting him in Canton
  8. *obligatory shot of chicken wings*
  9. Spero called Mike Tolbert a "fire hydrant of a running back". I think we need to keep him away from Odell.
  10. I'm allowed to turn in my "specialists are people too" card. I burned mine in Week 1 last year with Colton. I think I'm using it for Hauschka today! But for a couple of plays, I thought Brown & Humber were superb.
  11. From the broadcast angle, I wasn't sure if he could've fit that ball much closer to Zay without hitting the hands of the defender. Whether he could've set himself and thrown quicker is another matter.
  12. I'm really glad that this is the case. Alejandro has a fantastic story that should be spoken about more than it is. Everything that I've seen/read about him suggests a man of incredible courage and character. It's well worth reading this so you don't fall into a trap of projecting your own feelings on to his stance - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/sports/wp/2017/09/25/before-alejandro-villanueva-stood-alone-he-discussed-colin-kaepernick-at-training-camp/?utm_term=.ca98284b0100
  13. Started off slowly in pass pro but I thought he started to bed in as the game went along. Couple of the bigger pressures off the left side came vs Clay & O'Leary later in the game. Really had his struggles in the run game. I think it was always inevitable with the standard of opponent. All he can do is understand that he can play against the best and where he needs to improve to match them. Not overly discouraged.
  14. I'm not really sure at this point. If Jordan Matthews stays long-term, that defines the role they lack. That role is typically filled by a player that goes fairly early. I also think it depends on how Brandon Beane looks at the positional value. If he's a Gettleman copy, he's taken Benjamin in the 1st. Marty Hurney hasn't taken one earlier than the 2nd. And then you have to assess the picks we have and how the board falls. Vague enough for you?
  15. What I find even better about this stretch is that they've faced polar opposite teams with very distinct offenses. They don't even look like they've done any film work on the opponent.
  16. For those of you counting at home; in the last 2 weeks, the UCLA defense has given up: 108 points. 1,113 total yards 567 rushing yards While Josh Rosen has gone 74/116, 943 yards, 8 total TDs, 4 INT.
  17. S Quin Blanding & LB MIcah Kiser for UVA. WR Cedrick Wilson for Boise.
  18. I wrote a little something on a few of the games this Saturday - http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/09/22/2018-nfl-draft-prospects-buffalo-bills-cfb-week-4/ Two warnings: Beware the auto-play video & the Jabrill Peppers comment was meaner but it was edited
  19. I guess it makes sense that we'd eventually get a WR that won't blame God for his drops
  20. If I've got one weakness in the secondary, it's a meat seeking missile at SS. Why I went wrong on Calvin Pryor I think Ronnie would actually be a nice addition. Poyer looks solid at FS so Ronnie at SS and Hyde playing nickel strengthens the biggest weakness (Leonard Johnson).
  21. Can't see him being a McBeaner if those felony charges stick
  22. It's absolutely a need. It's unfathomable that a team went into an NFL season without a guy that can fulfill that role in this day and age. I've been pleasantly surprised by Darren Andrews of UCLA in that role.
  23. In retrospect, one of the more enjoyable aspects of that day They really are very good. I'm not a marching band kinda guy but I certainly appreciate their collective talent.
  24. Whereas the guy I was truly pounding the table for: https://twitter.com/NFLFilmStudy/status/910349076977344512
  25. Am I the lone person on Earth that's really underwhelmed by Cain? I understand the appeal but I'm not sold on the route running. Also think that he fights the football a little bit. He might end up being my new Devin Smith. The guy I just never buy into.
