  1. I feel the urge to paraphrase Mark Twain.
  2. His father was born in Cameroon, from what I can see with a quick search.
  3. Please be sarcasm. Oh, please be sarcasm.
  4. Zero animosity from me towards Tyrod. As a human being and a professional, absolutely everything that you'd want as a face of the franchise. Like many others before him, his relative failure hasn't been for the lack of trying. While never being his biggest fan, I do wish that he hadn't got caught up in contractual politicing at the end of 2016. To come back for this season after his treatment at the hands of the powers that be during that period earned my respect. Lesser men would've walked out of the door, perhaps rightfully so. I believe his time in Buffalo should be at an end and the Bills should move on to a new chapter. I still believe that Tyrod is at least a decent backup option and probably within the best 32 options in the game. I hope that he finds a starting gig somewhere with a coach that'll adapt to what is a unique, if limited, skill set.
  5. 12 years of loyalty has finally been rewarded. Long may the playoff run continue, I'm not ready to see him go just yet.
  6. Merry Christmas! (apparently, you can say that now) I hope Santa brought you everything you wished for.
  7. Man, I'm old enough to remember the Davis Webb in the 1st round hype.
  8. I'm just here for the talk about 2400 year old Greek medicine.
  9. Allbright did suggest last night that Florida seems like a nearly-done deal.
  10. I'm not even a UCLA fan either. He's simply my Maggie Thatcher. Got to be Chip, hasn't it? I kinda miss him in CFB. Plus they play @Oregon next November.
  11. I would dance on that man's grave if I could. How I loathe that waste of oxygen.
  12. I fell down the rabbit hole. It's oddly theraputic.
  13. I thought so. Ideally, you don't ever want a catastrophic failure to occur. If it comes when you moderately expect it to, you can shake it off easier. Yesterday has the higher degree of potential to do psychological harm. Especially with the long week to stew on it, see other results go for/against you.
  14. If the 93 is shot at Augusta, you know you're not ready for the big events just yet. You froze, got nervous. If it's at some tinpot tour event, maybe doubts creep in your mind about talent. Consistency.
  15. Anything that could go wrong, did. 4 players chose to have their worst game of the season all at once on the same unit.
  16. I've got to give a lot of credit to the Jets. They forced us into being one-dimensional on offense. OL just got beat up by some quality individuals. Biggest frustrations were missed tackles and penalties. The opposition is trying to beat you, you don't need to try to beat yourselves.
  17. Time to hold on to the ball. You know the rules.
  18. Rick Dennison likes a tight end who'll block. Jimmy Graham ain't built that way.
  19. I saw Sam Monson from PFF getting roundly booed for wondering why the officials place hands on the players in the first place. Being Irish, Sam is from a rugby-heavy background, officials just let what happens happen and punish them after the fact. I think he's got a point. Marshawn can't extricate himself from the grip of an official if he doesn't engage him to begin with.
  20. Gugny asked about entering the field, I explained the rule on that. We've already addressed the contact with an official penalty which is the stiffest standard financial penalty the league can impose.
  21. That would likely come under the flagrant personal foul section rather than contact with an official, which carries a minimum fine that can be escalated and scope for suspension. Also, kudos for using common sense with NFL discipline. Gave me a chuckle
  22. He's got away with far worse in the past. That DUI charge took two years and the NFL magically forgot it existed I think the ejection and a fine would suffice, to be honest. No punishment is going to stop Marshawn being Marshawn, we know that by now. Dude goes by the beat of his own drum.
  23. It doesn't seem that it differentiates between active on the play or not. I'm not the rules expert by any means, just been doing my research. Schefter tweeted about potential suspension so perhaps the charges combined + prior disciplinary issues are coming into effect.
  24. He should be charged with Unnecessarily Entering Fight Area (active involvement), which carries no suspension.
  25. There's literally no mention of suspension in the NFL's rules on fines/suspensions for contact with an official. https://operations.nfl.com/football-ops/fines-appeals/
