  1. I need Danny Etling's agent in my life. How the fudge did he swing an invite?
  2. So that's why I got that erection earlier out of nowhere.
  3. To be perfectly honest, I'm way behind on my usual pre-draft prep. I haven't even watched a CFB game since October. I'm sure that I'll dig into a few guys soon but the inclination has completely passed me by in recent months.
  4. Oh, how I need Elway to draft Josh Allen. Allen and Paxton Lynch meeting on the first day of camp:
  5. Not a bad shout from May 5th I think Bennifield ended up with some "academic issues".
  6. Jon Corto, Ruvell Martin, Robert Royal & Shawn Powell.
  7. Luke Falk is heading back to the West coast for Tyler Hilinski's funeral.
  8. I'd like to think so. Although Jon did get to hit Carson Wentz with a foam noodle, he's kinda my hero.
  9. The year was worth it just for Leger's Douz and Don'ts schtick.
  10. Jeff Cumberland and Leger Douzable were my favourite no-name Rex-era Jets. He could be my new Lee Smith.
  11. We had a very similar grade on him. I tend to like watching a QB all at once, in chronological order, but I had to do Peterman's in 3 different sittings. He was painful to watch and my notes started to slip into a string of expletives. The kid didn't deserve what the team did to him against the Chargers but I've seen absolutely nothing that has changed my stance on him.
  12. Thanks, Mark. I'd love to say that I'm some International Man of Mystery but the truth is far less glamourous
  13. Longer arms than Nick O'Leary too All in all, good numbers for Baker. I'd heard worrying things about his hands meeting teams' thresholds. Guess I won't be docking his grade much after all.
  14. I'm slightly concerned that his armspan is shorter than his arm length
  15. I'm doing good, thanks. I trust that you're keeping yourself out of trouble around these parts.
  16. It was clear over the summer that Harrison would be a Bill. The kid is a former wrestler. Sean might kidnap him during the next 3 months.
  17. 2011 was the first draft class that I really paid attention to. I'll list 'my guys' from that point on. 2011 - Colin Kaepernick 2012 - Russell Wilson (honourable mention to the blue turf beast himself, Kellen Moore) 2013 - Matt Barkley (I've watched those USC games back, still would draft him) 2014 - Teddy Bridgewater/Zach Mettenberger 2015 - Loved Jameis, liked Marcus, hated everyone else like they slept with my sister. 2016 - Early Wentz truther, Goff lover, Dak appreciator. Paxton Lynch still looks like he should be in a knock-off Pirates of the Caribbean film. 2017 - Deshone Kizer, king of my heart. I'm going to die on this hill. If anyone knows where Hue Jackson lives, I have a package to send him. As far as the Bills go, I'm on record as being a Tyrod 'hater' from his second preseason game. Not because I think he's terrible, just that he's the type of guy you cling to for years because of the odd spark here and there. I worried the team wouldn't strive to do better than 'on his day, he can be good enough.' Hated the Peterman pick, disliked the EJ pick. Long live Kyle Orton.
  18. Apparently smart enough to get into Stanford but this seems like a poor decision. I admire the loyalty to coaches and the school, even the pursuit of educational excellence. Hard to imagine his stock being much higher and you can tack on another 300 touches into the wear & tear column.
  19. I was in that large group of people that gave up on Davante. Justifiably so, I'd like to believe. He was pretty useless early on. I've given Zay as much crap as anyone over the past 4 months. His hands were the one trait I liked in college and the injury makes some sense as to why they deserted him this year. They have a high 2nd invested in him (plus traded away assets) so that'll buy him the time to prove this season to be an anomaly. As one of the "haters", I'll relent for now and give the kid a chance at redemption. He's a nice lad, I'll root for him.
  20. Uncle Dave knows his stuff
  21. Augie, I'm so sorry for you and your family. We spoke about Michael and addiction a couple of years back and it was clear to see that he was loved so deeply. I wish you the strength to get through this and that you can recall all of the good that Michael brought into your lives. If you ever feel that you need to talk to somebody outside of your inner circle, I'll always be willing to listen.
  22. The NFL doesn't need any more of Matt Kalil trying to block for 7-step drops. Or as Cam Jordan called him 'Speedbump McGee'
