  1. You sound like my teachers
  2. Speak for yourself.
  3. Play your cards right and you might be.
  4. I saw a picture of her with a Georgia player that was not her son. You may have a point.....
  5. If they're reading this board, I might need to go into witness protection after today She's alright, just doesn't move the needle.
  6. They better pay me more than George Soros does if they want my loyalty.
  7. I've been a blogger and it's true. You guys ain't got **** on me
  8. Even as a long-time disliker of Josh Allen's game, the athleticism isn't mythical. He's not a blazing runner but he's incredibly well balanced and agile.
  9. !@#$ Josh Allen and the horse that the self-proclaimed cowboy rode in on. !@#$ Brandon Beane. !@#$ Mead for all of those Riley Ferguson posts
  10. Let me get this straight. If I don't like the Josh Allen selection, I need to find a new team? Bye bitches
  11. Thanks for recognising my genius.
  12. I'm just about ready with my selections. Writing this out and trying to remember all the trades/players is a PAIN If I get 5 correct, I'm calling it a win.
  13. I'd wish you luck but you don't need it. You already got my boy Kizer.
  14. Trust me, you'd want sound with me. Not because I sound like Hugh Grant or whatever weird expectation I have to live up to, either. I bet you've never heard an Englishman say 'mother!@#$er' before. Unless you know who Danny Dyer is
  15. Of course, I'd get a spreadsheet wizard on board. We're doing everything on Google Docs on my team! That reminds me, a thank you needs to go to Hokie and @Virgil for their work keeping the TSW Mock Draft ship on course. It was a fun little exercise. I expect 7 rounds next year, you slackers!
  16. If I thought that he meant that as being anti-gay, people would know about it. When you post anything online without context to back it up, you run the risk of it being taken the wrong way. It doesn't seem intentional and malicious so I'd hope that people could take it as it is rather than getting massively offended by it. I'm more interested in who Josh Allen is now. On the surface, he seems to be a pretty decent and grounded guy. You never know someone's true character until you experience it or they expose it (good or bad). He might have an uncomfortable few days ahead fitting into a new locker room with plenty of players wanting to put him on the spot over this. Even if self-inflicted, adversity is a good test of a man. He has a chance to set the record straight behind closed doors.
  17. When they say Edgeley Park is rocking, it's because the foundations are giving way
  18. It's been a strange process to this point. Every year, we've had that "Are we going to grab a QB?" discussion but it's all been so QB-centric this year that it's almost like most of the class has ceased to exist While I've been slacking this year, it's been a really good year for insight on the board. I'll always give a shout-out to Gunner & Bandit for their continued application of context and nuance to the discussion. If I get a GM job somewhere, those guys are my first two hires! I've really enjoyed having discussions with @JohnC about draft philosophy over the past few months. I've also enjoyed the back and forths I've had with @billspro as well. I think @P51 gets my "Draft Thread of the Year" award for his positional rankings. I have a lot of time for people that can extricate themselves from a groupthink mentality and back up why they think highly/lowly about a prospect. Even if he does class Lamar as QB/WR! I hope that I'm in the process of getting my **** together again and I'll be boring you with small school gems and special teamers again with the 2019 class.
  19. Craven Cottage is the best place I've ever watched a game of any sport. Giving that atmosphere up to play in a half-empty cauldron would be a strange move.
  20. I've been on the receiving end of that word a few times. It typically comes from a place of sheer ignorance instead of bigotry. There's a couple of occasions where I've tried to work out why that person said it and try to approach it from their point of view. After all, if they choose to stay ignorant after I've tried to enlighten them, that's on them. I'm not the thought police I've never been hurt by it but I know people who have. It'll probably irk me until the day I die because of that.
