  1. Coaching and continuity on the O-line are huge. Having the entire left side of the line and the guy making the protection adjustments changed in one offseason is less than ideal. I can't really fault the front office for it as the deal for Cordy was a good one and the others were enforced by injury and batshit crazy. The OL needs an overhaul and a true identity, the current group is a mismatched bunch that doesn't seem to mesh well together. As far as Miller goes, I believe he's got enough about him to be a low-end starter in the league. I know PFF grades for OL aren't the Holy Grail but he was their most improved Year 2 player in 2016. John is a straight-up power guard and he was a victim of the change to Dennison/Castillo being more schooled in zone principles. We can forget that these guys are human and he's played like a guy that's not confident in himself recently. He's still just 25 years old and I think a change of scenery would be best for him. With Teller, I've been a fan of his for a while and was delighted that we picked him up. I see no harm in giving him 16 games next year to see how much he can develop. I don't think young OL can develop on the bench and his rookie reps will serve him well for the future.
  2. I appreciate the kind words, fellas. This community really has been good to me, especially over the last year or so, as I've tackled my issues. I don't want to derail the thread but the support really has helped me and it means the world to me. Back to football before I start crying - I really could go for Cajuste/Dawkins/Paradis at LT/LG/C. I'm a believer that attitude means something on the OL and those guys are all brute force finishers. If Paradis is healthy enough after 2 hip surgeries and a broken leg, he's my #1 free agent OL. He's a joy to watch and so technically sound.
  3. I'd be over the moon to get him. I'd expect him to be a day 1 starter at LT and you can work out where Dion fits into the equation in TC. I plan to be a little more active now that the season is over. Just needed some time to figure out my mental health.
  4. I remember when you were just a little baseball, no bigger than an acorn. They grow up so fast.
  5. Fortune favours the brave, my friend. I think Yodny is the total package. I expect that he'll test really well, especially in the 3-cone. Add into the equation that he's technically, athletically and conceptually head and shoulders above Greg Little and the NFL has proven time and again that they'll overthink Jonah because of his length, I think he stands a real chance of being OT1 come April.
  6. Draft season Blokes is alive. Yodny Cajuste will be a top 5 pick, that is all.
  7. Alex Lewis once took an Air Force cadet by the head and drove him into a brick wall repeatedly until he was unconscious. But, respect the troops and all that.
  8. I think the cumulative effect of all the head injuries he's had combined with frustration at the physical toll of his knee issues is just driving this feeling of hostility. It's been clear to me for a while that he's nowhere near the fluid athlete he once was. Jeetz is spot on that Kiko's always had this in him, even as a young man. A lack of impulse control has always been his downfall. For his own sake, I hope this acts as the signal that he needs to retire before either his health or the league retires him.
  9. He only found out how to spell his name properly when he was like 27.
  10. Maybe Baker would score more points with some if he spilled the beans to Mike Silver and let that weasel do his dirty work for him.
  11. I would put one of my British pounds on him ending up in Denver.
  12. I've gotta take Bama on the spread. No way the Bills would notch up 10 field goals vs Saban's defense.
  13. Indeed. Let's get a guy that's well versed in the development of quarterbacks in the type of system that's becoming the norm in the NFL.
  14. If you let me grab the 2012 version of Kolton Browning, I'll run a 2 QB system all day long.
  15. Charles needs to be on a different team next season. His knee condition is chronic and it's not going to get better with age. It's a shame because he was a really solid TE in Miami but they need to move on and address the position properly.
  16. We'd have either Josh Rosen or Patrick Mahomes if I was the boss.
  17. I'd have a better QB room than Allen, Anderson, Peterman & Barkley because I ain't blind.
  18. I'd take a blank cheque to Norman and tell Lincoln Riley to write any number he wants on it. That dude is special.
  19. It's not even like some are playing chess and others checkers. Sean McVay & Andy Reid are playing chess and we've got that annoying ball in a cup thing.
  20. I'm not definitively out on Sean at this point but I am majorly concerned. I'm not sure about his game management, his staff choices. Regarding his staff, they were brought in (Dennison, Castillo in particular) as experienced teachers and yet seem set in their ways without an ounce of adaptability in their body. His talk of accountability took months to fall short after trading for Kelvin Benjamin. Whether he wants it to be the case or not, his legacy is starting to be defined by Nathan Peterman. As a fan, that's mortifying.
  21. I wouldn't. My ***** leg might fall off in the cold
