  1. It's a rarity that it's this bad. Passion and frustration is more understandable, perhaps even admirable in certain cases.
  2. On a financial aspect; does the NFLPA offer some kind of financial planning as a part of membership? I hope this isn't a case of Geno blowing his signing bonus already but he wouldn't be the first.
  3. Geno has made just over $3m in cash thus far (Spotrac numbers). Why is he borrowing cash from a 6th rounder?
  4. Watching that Miami game in Week 17, it seemed like it had started to fall into place a little for him. Couple of poor decisions and a fumble but improvement. I'm a fan of the game and more good players makes the game better. I'm a little gutted for Geno, as unpopular as that might be.
  5. The guy got arrested for assaulting a police officer 4 years ago. I'm guessing he's not the sharpest tool in the box to begin with.
  6. I've reacted to being punched or tackled dangerously. That makes sense to me. I've slapped a few hands away from my face and nothing has escalated from that. Maybe I should stop treating players like people.
  7. Am I the only person in the world that doesn't see a finger in the vicinity of my face as provocation? I'm no stranger to a good scrap on the rugby field but it's always been something pretty dangerous that started those.
  8. If Geno isn't eating properly for a few weeks, he's going to drop weight quite a bit. Same thing happened before Teddy Bridgewater's junior year (dental surgery). Might take 6-10 weeks to heal the fracture but he's not coming straight back at optimal physical shape.
  9. I'm going to love Jets preseason games. Their QBs will be nicknamed 'The Axis Of Awful'.

  11. Apparently he's looked poor in training camp. Just like his Baylor days.
  12. Bills can't even be elite in arrests.
  13. I've seen a few assorted tweets that Peters dealt with hamstring issues early in OTA's. Part of why he was released.
  14. "Panthers UDFA CB Garry Peters didn't allow any completions on deep vertical routes. Opponents went 0 for 11 on go, corner, and post routes." https://twitter.com/PFF/status/595301059431571456 "On passes thrown beyond 10 yards, Clemson's Garry Peters gave up four catches on 24 targets for 74 yards. That's a comp % of 16.7%" https://twitter.com/PFF_Steve/status/593381194395430913
  15. Amazing how Cam came into the NFL with a reputation that never really became an issue. Pretty much a model professional for 4 years, despite getting knocked senseless on a weekly basis. Then this happens and certain folks are now going "See, I told you he was a bad guy".
  16. I thought Matt Barkley was going to be the best QB from that class. I also screwed up on Cam Newton and Ryan Tannehill. Basically, disregard anything I say about quarterbacks.
  17. I liked that he seemed to understand where he went wrong as soon as he did. Lots of communication on the sideline with the OC after a pick or a poor throw. I'm not afraid of kids that make mistakes as long as they work to correct them. I think people forget that playing QB is as much mental as it is physical. Of course he's still a long way off but I was encouraged to see some signs that he gets it from the neck up. Lost a lot on the O-line from 2014 so I hope he's not one of those kids that ends up shell shocked by poor protection.
  18. I'm one of those nerds that's more interested in what specific positions they've put certain players in. Manny at WLB, Bradham at SLB. Figured they might be the other way round.
  19. I was kidding. Everyone will go mental about the QBs on an equal footing, figured I'd get a stupid shot in first.
  20. Thigpen as the #1 PR seems telling.
  21. She could write the confession of murdering my family in my own blood and I'd still love that girl.
  22. I saw Tony Pauline tweeting earlier in the summer that area scouts that he knows have a consensus Day 2/3 grade on him. At this point, I'm not sure anyone knows what he is (apart from that bloody meme). Kaaya did what you want any freshman to do. He got progressively better as the year went on. He's certainly on a promising trajectory at this point.
  23. Oakman as the #2 senior in the nation?
  24. He should get in eventually, absolutely. I might not like his personality at times but he certainly backed everything up and then some. He might finish his career by passing Cris Carter on the All-Time receiving yards with a decent season. He's definitely in the conversation.
