  1. It was around 18 months. It's rare but not unheard of. Most cases last a few weeks at most. I didn't lose consciousness and the intial symptoms weren't terrible. Got progressively worse and lingered for well over a year. It was more annoying than anything else after a while.
  2. I've been trying to follow the CTE stuff over the past couple of years. I'm genuinely a little terrified of how my reckless abandon in my younger days will impact my later years. I had Post Concussion Syndrome for about 18 months. This was at 14-15 years old.
  3. Adrian Coxson, rookie WR that spent time with the Packers, had to retire this week after a Grade 3 concussion. Warned another blow to the head might kill him. I hope Stork's isn't anywhere near as serious. I've had a couple of 'mild' concussions and those were bad enough.
  4. If it makes anyone feel better, I'm currently deep in a Twitter discussion with someone who thinks Matt Ryan is no better than Andy Dalton. QB debates are endless, pointless and crazy.
  5. I think we know BMarsh isn't angling at a career in public speaking or politics in the future. Open mouth, insert foot. Maybe he's after Goodell's job.
  6. Even being optimistic about Tyrod and treating it as a level playing field, it's hard to imagine that I'd put Tyrod in anything but Tier 4.
  7. Yep. It's actually $9,000,010 per year after Jerry stole his lunch money.
  8. I think they'll probably be working on a silent count this week. Half the time I think Jerry's guessing anyway so that shouldn't change much. They'll get well acquainted. Luck might have to give Jerry a few 'Good job' butt pats before the game is done.
  9. First defensive snap, Jerry jumps offside.
  10. I don't hate the LT pick. Biggest hope is that the NFL goes mad over Laremy Tunsil's 'character concerns' and he drops handily to us. I didn't think the NFL could be that stupid but Teddy went 32nd, anything can happen.
  11. The comparison isn't great. It's because he's kinda white and kinda short. He's just a pain in the arse as a 2-gap NT. He's really strong, he can penetrate, technically sound. If they had better inside linebackers, I'd be worried about his ability to clog up inside rushing lines. Long story short, he's a bloody nuisance.
  12. No worries. I could've phrased it better. It shouldn't be a big thing, just something that interests me. I like David Parry because he favourited one of my AJ Tarpley tweets.
  13. I was talking more about their days at Stanford rather than what they've gone up against since getting drafted.
  14. I think they've got better up front with Anderson and Parry starting but they're both rookies. One thing not to overlook is that they practiced every day against that Stanford power run offense. Roman will obviously throw stuff at them that they're unfamiliar with but they're not exactly unfamiliar with the concepts. I still think we've got the advantage over them and should be able to run the ball consistently on them.
  15. And the Noel news came from here: https://twitter.com/AaronWilson_NFL/status/641267495681175552 @AaronWilson_NFL Bills signing Merrill Noel to practice squad per a source
  16. Merrill Noel is heading to the PS. Replacing Alex Tanney.
  17. Schobert was probably the biggest impression maker in terms of seniors from the games I watched. Definitely one that I'll keep an eye on over the next few months. Northwestern LB Anthony Walker was probably the biggest surprise overall. Only a RS Sophomore but his instincts are brilliant. Absolute ball magnet. Has decent size at 6' 1" 235lbs and reportedly ran the 40 in 4.49.
  18. I'd guarantee every team has some kind of PED violation issue. Also pretty sure that the penalty would be much stiffer if the NFL cared about it.
  19. Tampa's OL is going to be abysmal for at least the early part of the season. They'd be a safe bet. If you wanted a real wildcard shot, maybe the Bears. I love Jay but they seem intent on killing the poor bastard.
  20. Same with Searcy. I liked Da'Norris and would've been okay with keeping him. I'll admit, it's more hindsight with Darby's early woes and Leodis being injured that makes the heart grow fonder.
  21. Saw a comparison earlier between Cardale and Daunte Culpepper. I don't hate it.
  22. We can't have nice things.
  23. James Conner injured his MCL, needed surgery. Out for the year. https://twitter.com/McMurphyESPN/status/640918816558592000
  24. Any excuse for this - https://vine.co/v/OiZjqulH9x6
  25. Have to believe he's a troll. I refuse to believe that a human being can be that stupid.
